I've dealt with alot of kids in summer theatre programs and you know what the trick is... especially if they're close to your age... don't yell. You remember being a kid you hated the people that yelled at you. You don't want they're hate you want they're respect reason with them. Kids can be some of the most understanding people... it's why they ask "Why?" all the time. Dealing with kids shouldn't be that different from anybody else. First show I ASMed I was a freshman among 99% upperclassmen. If you keep a cool head and just deal with s**t you can get anybody but just dumb jerks to respect your authority.
