A dark chuckle caused his chest to rumble as the sound escaped his throat and he delicately tightened his hold on her.
"There must be other things you enjoy, things you can strive to accomplish and seek fulfillment from. There are many things one can come to desire, it's just a matter of looking and seeking what one wants. I will be here to assist you in your endeavors as well, so at least you'll always have a hand, even if your search takes you deep into the heart of darkness."
His eyes closed as he took mentally took in the area around them, feeling the land beneath his claws and the breeze against his skin as he took in the most important thing to him at the time; Her warmth.

A soft growl rolled as she tried to place what was important to her. What was it she desired. Besides destruction and the screams of pain from others there wasn't much Fuega thirsted for. For the longest time she obsessed over her past and lost memories. But now she had let that fall away. Digging deep she fought to find what it was she desired, her fingers tightening to Ramak as she did. "To be honest I don't know enough of this world now to know what it is I strive for....besides just living..."

He let out a soft sigh as her hold on him tightened and his body reflexively melded into it. His eyes opened again as he peered up toward the stars and smiled before speaking once again.
"Well, then we shall live and learn as we do. In time I am sure we will find something you desire, and in the meantime we have each other."
With that he leaned his head down, his lips lightly touching to her scalp through her hair.

Relief washed over her and Fuega relaxed at his touch, "So far. All I have wanted since our meeting is you. When you are not here I am lost and confused."

He very carefully pulled away from her, and took her cheeks lovingly between his palms, his eyes peering down into her own as he smiled.
"For that I apologize, I do not mean to cause you strife with my absence. Fuega, so long as you will have me by your side, I would remain there... Is this suitable to you?"

Black lips curled to a smile, "I wouldn't have it any other way. As long as you do not mind having me. One that others see as an animal and a beast."

He scoffed, his face twisting into an expression of scorn and frustration as he held her tighter, his wings folding about them.
"Let them 'perceive' what they wish, for they are simple minded and have no comprehension as to the depths of what you are. An animal or beast? You are far from such, you are more, and you are greater than anything they could imagine. As long as you remain steadfast in your conviction and you keep a strong image of yourself, they can whisper amongst themselves all they wish and it would matter naught."
His movements were quick and fluid, and before she would realize what had transpired, he was leaning over her as he leaned her back and was the only reason she was remotely 'upright'. His eyes stared intensely into her own as he spoke again.
"Of course I would have you, you are perhaps the most amazing entity I have ever encountered, what could possibly drive me to not seek your presence? In fact..."
His eyes closed for a moment as he took in a deep breath and then opened them, once more staring into her eyes, his gaze seemingly piercing to her core.
"Fuega, there are those that dub the term 'Marriage', but I find that mundane wording offensive and not nearly as meaningful....
Would you take me as your Life Mate? I pledge my body, mind and spirit to you; Would you have them?"

Grasping his upper arms as he leaned her back all Fuega could do was stare into his eyes for a long moment. White fangs slightly showed in her partly opened mouth as she blinked and looked up at him. "Life mate..." she repeated feeling a warmth in her very being at it. It felt right. It felt as it was supposed to be. The feeling caused a smile to spread and light danced in her eyes. "I will be your wholly, my dear Ramak. I will always be by your side. "

His lips curled into a smile as he leaned down, eyes closing before he pressed his lips to hers. His wings once more engulfed them as he wrapped them about her and let his arm slip away so that she was able to rest against the bed of feathers at her back.
After a long moment he let his lips part from hers.
"And I will remain at yours my beloved. If I am not present, you simply need call for me and I will come."

At his release she fell his wings, her own two feathers pressed to her back. A feeling of relief washed over Fuega and she audibly sighed, "It is amazing. How one can go from depressed and lonely to fulfilled and happy."

He grinned and nodded slowly, leaning down to nuzzle her neck gently before he settled himself against her.
"Indeed, but it can happen and has, and thus we'll just have to enjoy it."
