I think the 'Marxist' part is fine... because as people have said, separating out the 'Marxist' leaves room for people to think that they are welcome if they are non-Marxist socialists or communists too. Also, people who have run into Marxist ideas but maybe don't know so much about the party-stuff could be attracted to it? (The latter were my circumstances for joining the guild.)
