I dont lock away my emotions I would never do that, Thats not a way to fight. What is the point of locking away your emotions in a fight if you do that then you have nothing left to fight for but yourself. Everyfight i have ever been in i thought about Serris. That if I lost i wouldn't get to see her again. Thas how i fight I think of her and do what is needed.

I'd disagree. To lock away your emotions is not to lock away your reason to fight. When I do so I become cool and collected and am able to fight on a much higher level. Some people must remain calm and collected to fight. Not everyone uses there emotions as fuel or power. Because for some to do so is for them to lose who they really are. On top of that, the way you said you fight is a farce in my oponion. To give a fight a false reason is to make the fight a farce. Fight the fight for the reason it was started or not at all.

For me fighting is a type of art. You pour your emotions into it, wether you know how to do it properly or not. However people like me pour our time, dedication, safety, mind, body and sometimes life into it.

But when I do fight:
During the times I myself have been challenged or attacked, I like to play a defensive role, only attacking when I get attacked myself. Using punches, front, side and round-house and back/donkey kicks, usally in a combo to try and down the enemy, after all I am in defensive (I am still trying to get that step-up side kick down, its so damn tricky to get it perfect every time)
When however I am in a offensive stance, that means that I would be the one attacking, this means that I want to fight. I will be very aggressive, attacking with punches, elbows, knees, and to push the opponent away, front kicks. I have reciently learned (to the point of being able to use it properly) a move called the 'Hammer Kick', it is when (after you have downed them) you lift your leg as high as you can, and slam your heel down onto the enemy. It has been know to crush ribs, break jaws, and pretty much destroy wrist bones beyond repair (the story is that the guy used it on the wrist to break it beyond use, only because that same guy would not stop attacking him week after week, he would not say why though....)
While sparring however, that is another thing completely. I never put my guard down or stand flat (you are ment to move on your toes), that is enough to get a broken nose, I will always let me opponent attack first, he he attackes constently, I will look for flaws. If he is trying to asses me like I am to him, then I will try and finnish very quickly (the whole defense or offense thing).

Very interesting. If circumstances ever permit our meeting, I wouldn't mind have a spar with you and see what you really got.

Wait, do you train in a fighting art then, or are you just a good brawler?

I do train in it, in a sense. I am self taught in the basics of multiple styles and have had multiple sparring partners including those holding belts in various styles.

@Priest of D: I ment how did you fare against your sparring partners.

@Sankekor: Well thats fair enough, for some reason im not very good at that....
PostPosted: Thu Aug 20, 2009 2:55 am

@Sankekor: FAIL! lol

@DibluSTR: Ok, I thought that was what you meant. I usually did fairly well. I was able to keep up rather well with most of the black belts, actually beating quite a few. Except this one old guy who was really good at Aikido. He completely trashed me....

lol, yeah that makes sence. But good job on the lesser people.
I remember learning a move called the 'step-up side kick', it took ages to get it right, I still dont have it completely right. Anyway, apparently it is one of the most devastating basic kicks you can learn. Master have literally kicked people across the room with it.

Breayue
My aunt's ex boyfriend taught me how to punch when I was 13. I'm a heavy puncher, but I can change it to swift, open-palm punches and quick kicks that can knock you off your feet. I'm self-taught, mainly learned my stuff from DBZ >:}

So you know how to shoot the KAMEHAMEHA!?!?
OMG
Teach me your ways!!1!
