I totally agree with the "Ryu needs to get laid by Tatsuha" xd

And I do agree about the Ryu/Shu. Though I haven't read all of the volumes of the manga xp I still don't like it.

I'm honestly beginning to wonder if this second series is even created for the fans at all. Looking through the remixes made after Gravitation, and then this new development between Shuichi and Ryuichi and the implied interactions between Eiri and Tohma, it sounds more like the author has it in her just to fill out her own fantasies. Of course, if she keeps adding juicy scenes like that to her plot, the sequal may just be worth reading after all.

I do enjoy the sequel to Gravitation,and that it was made,but I do agree with things you guys have said.The thing with Ryuichi was strange and from no where,but I do want to see what happens.Some things I dont like but I am going to stick with it cause I dont find over-done or anything like that,but entertaining.

Priea,I think it is worth reading.So maybe you should try it out,and if you dont like it then forget about it,though if you do read abit of it,you'll probably want to know more and what happens

I just read three Chapters of Gravi two.. Ryui-chan kissed Shui-chan! What the? huh? huh? I am so confused!

crying I didn't know there even was a sequel...why would she bother making one? the ending was great! and theres no gravitation without Shu/Eiri!!! Ryu/Shu makes no sense watsoever. As for the random unrealistic violent crap it just gets on my nerves. Its funny for the most part but its gets a little excessive after a while stare

1. For those so called "real fans" *referring to the first couple of posts in the thread* Maki Murakami has halted her production of Gravitation 2 to work on her new comic, Kanpai! (being released by Tokyopop) And Gamerz Heaven hasn't been released past Vol 3 in Japan, 2 in America. (anyone but me see the early concept design for Rikku illustrated in Nata-kun?)

2. How can you think Rikku is annoying? He barely says anything! XD He looks up to Shuichi as a mother because, hell, who knows where the hell is mother is. And he's lived without a daddy all his life (although I'd rather that than he have that a*****e as a father. >.>) He's just a 4-6 year old looking for parental figures. He's not a malicious little s**t, he's an innocent child. Come on, guys. He's a TODDLER. gonk

3. (SPOILERS IN THIS ONE! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!)I for one, don't mind the Ryu/Shu plot twist at all. I'd been a little bored with Gravitation myself, and that twist really threw me for a loop. Plus, my love for Ryuichi skyrockedt when he made that little speech before kissing Shuichi. He said a lot of things that I thought since the beginning of Gravitation. If I were Shuichi, I'd dump an abusive, self-centered, child-and-lover beating, stubborn, a**l retentive and bitchy Eiri anyway.

But Ryuichi is changing and developing a whole lot. His darker, more adult side is showing out. Sure, it's easy to accept the one-dimensional characterization of Ryuichi as a simple, childish, weirdo who's only serious when singing. Even I thought that for quite a while. BUt near the end of the first Gravitation series, readers got a glimpse at a darker, hidden persona of Ryuichi Sakuma--one that's deeper, more serious, and even a little more evil. It's a delicious surprise that's keeping me hooked.

I'm sorry to diss on the Tatsuha and Ryuichi thing, but I really don't think that it's a very serious, believable pairing. Ryuichi is never seen showing any sign of affection for Tatsuha beside friendship in all 12+ volumes. Everything that Tatsuha feels for Ryuichi is played for laughs, as an extreme hero worship kind of thing rather than an actual love thing.

I'm sorry to say it (because I really do love both Tatsuha and Ryu's cahracters) but even in the original Gravi, Ryuichi had a more complex, meaningful (platonic at the time, but look at them now!) relationship with Shuichi. Yes, both Tatsuha and Shu hero-worshipped him. But the Ryu/Shu one was just much more seriously believable.
