Crona with a gender is like life having a clear and concise meaning. It just doesn't work. I really hope they're careful with that one.

They might give Chrona the voice of a girl like they did for Envy in Fullmetal Alchemist. A female voice, although associated with a girl, can also be used for characters who have no gender.

All I can say about Funimation dubbing this anime is that I'm worried. They did do a good job on Fullmetal Alchemist's dub they did horribly on some other animes (The recently released D.Gray-man dub for instance turned out horribly for me) but that is just me, everyone has a different opinion. They might have small dificulties with crona's voice though

I actually thought Envy was a girl when I had first seen the anime. Woops. xD
Funimation knows, though, that Soul Eater has a large fanbase so I'd like to assume they would work harder at finding suitable voice actors.

I assumed that with some other animes they released and they didn't turn out to a lot of the fans liking. I just hope they do a good job.

I'll buy the dvd for sure. They come with both subs and dubs on em right? =O My Ouran dvd does, but is it that way with all animes?

It should, Most animes dubbed by funimation has both the dubbed and subbed version on them

and speaking of the dvd's...
where can you buy them?
I know you can buy them at anime cons and off the internet but can you buy them at like a movie store or a barns and noble or something?
