James laughed as Professor Hart said that if they had a dumb question he had a detention. With that he raised his hand and without waiting to be called on spoke. "Professor what do you call a dumb question?" He was a little put out that he hadn't even read the note but shrugged it off. His loss, but she did have the authority to excuse him if she had the authority to hold him to talk to him.

Max turned to James."Mr.Wixom my definition of a dumb question is something not related to class.If it is related to my class and a question I think you shouldn't be asking at your level?A dumb question,Max told him, standing up and walking around his desk to the chalk board."Is there anymore questions you may have before I start?"he asked, making sure before he started the class lesson, they were already running a tad late.

James smiled as Professor Hart told him what a stupid question was and nodded. "Crystal clear Professor, I just wondered because my mum says there is no such thing as dumb questions and I wondered why you thought there was." He leaned back in his chair watching the professor with a smile.

Bella smiled as James walked in with a note. Thankfully, he wasn't going to be tardy today. Patting the seat next to here, she waited for him to sit down. However, her smile quickly fell off her face as he asked a stupid question right after Professor Hart told him not to. Sighing, she shook her head. Nudging him under the table, she shook her head, though a small smile played at her lips.

James felt the nudge and grinned at Bella. "Hey I had to know. You don't want me going and asking stupid questions like what is the spell to unlock doors do you? I could ask him now if you want." He smiled teasingly and looked ready to raise his hand. He just liked taunting Bella. He didn't like detention anymore than she did and he knew that she was bored in the common room without him. He also had the rest of the day to get through and in that process was Yelsah. He then dropped it all as he thought of Yelsah and his eyes lit up. "Hey how hard do you think it would be to piss Helsah off now he has a daughter and a fiance?"

Bella shook her head. "James, I think you should be more careful now that your sister is deputy headmistress. Anything you do wrong could be disasterous for her career." She warned as she looked over some potions in her book, reviewing what they might be doing today. "As for Professor Yelsah...Easily, if you try to piss off his family." She said promptly.

"Oh I'll leave Kathryn and Yomo-what's-her-name alone. I just want to see this new Helsah. It'll be fun." Upon mention of being careful now his sister was Deputy Head he stuck his tongue out at her. "Hey she can pull it off. She always comes out of everything smelling like a freaking rose. Don't worry though, I won't give Helsah any crap I was just wondering. He's probably still Helsah, just smiles a little more because he's happier."

Bella shrugged. She just felt like the real Professor Yelsah was being brought out because of the fact that he had a family now. "We'll just have to wait and see." She said with a smile.

Max looked down at the two and raised an eyebrow."If you two are done now i'd like to start my class,"Max told them as he turned to the board and wrote 'Swelling Solution' on the board."Alright today we are going to start with the swelling solution, does anyone care to tell me what this potion does and the solution?"Max asked, turning back around and looking at the class.

Bella quickly lifted her hand and waited to be called on. She knew the answer to this, it was just such an easy potion. Smiling, she waved her hand a little in her eagerness to answer.

Max smiled at Bella."Ah good someone actually read their textbooks this summer, Bella?"Max asked as he pointed at her.He was praying someone would know because he was going to be extremely annoyed if no one could tell him the answer to a question that simple.

"Well?"Max asked, gesturing his hand as if asking her to proceed.He didn't mean to stop her when he had asked her, it was merely surprising to him since not many read.If he looked at James it was just the type he would expect to see in his class because he walked in late and looks clueless at this point.

James couldn't resist. It was kind of a common sense situation right there and he couldn't believe the Professor was asking it. "I'm going to say it makes things go really small." He had made fun of Bella while she had been reading the text books over the summer not even bothering to open them. They had stayed in the wrappers actually until he had had to grab them this morning for his classes.
