punkman155 yes i love their new album, i heard on the mandatory metallica sirius radio station that kirk only had 30% of his guitar tabs written or however u keep track of them and he worked his a** off to get the last 70% that he just made up as he went, i think it really payed off, i love the song "that was just your life" so upbeat and energetic and the chorus is amazing idk y but that video scares me, i think its cuz i think its true

punkman155 lol, im pretty sure everyone has heard that song who listens to metallica. its a really sad story, if you dont know it its about a man in WW2 i think and he got blown up by a landmine, he lost his arms and legs and speach, hearing, voice and he was basically just sitting there like a vegetable in a hosptal hooked up to macines that are basically keepng him alive, he wants them to end his lif but he doesnt know how to tell them since he cant communicaete or anything so he remember from when he was little his dad aught him morse code, so he is ling there nodding hiss head to morse code saing "kill me ' over and over again, at irst the nurses are like "wth is he doing?" then one da a nurse finally reolizes hes doing morse code so he figures ot what he is saying and yea, really sad story
welll yeah your right about the song it is sad and well yeah i know its past and history my social studies teacher is what you can call a rocker he likes heavy metal music so we share music in common which is weird but fun at time and he made that song part of his lesson too.

Metalica has alot of sad/ serious topics such as in the song blackend they talk about how we're killing our planet and in hero of the day they talk about how we dont pay enough mind to other humans

as much as i like metalica, there are songs that sound the same. ex. the first unforgiven and wherever i may roam

those don't sound the same. maby you should listen to them again. the only songs that come close is when the lyrics of the unforgiven 1 are in the unforgiven 2, but even those sound a bit different.

i always thought the beginning of battery was like a spanish song, but i love how they start off slow then melt your face off at the end

my favorite song is either Enter Sandman or Nothing Else Matters, and i saw Metallica in concert at Fresno o-o it was awesome!!! and it was my first concert that i ever went to and i was sitting front row! and my bro got a guitar pick! the concert was awesome tho! biggrin
