Is being Bi polar something that goes way eventually? Because I think I'm just messed right now because I'm 15 and I grew up messed. I think that maybe I'll stop acting so weird if I could get some security... what do you think? (I've never ACTUALLY been to a doctor, nor do I plan on going. I plan to become a psychologist and study it myself)

There isn't really Bipolar 1 and Bipolar 2. They are more or less different levels of bipolar.
Theres the depressive side to bipolar which has 2 levels. mild to moderate depressive cycles and then severe depressive cycles.
There there are also 2 levels to manic cycles. Severe mania (which is like fear, anger, mind racing too fast, thoughts become hazy and you feel trapped.) and then there is hypomania (which is the talkative, hyper, feel like you can do anything, high self-esteem, higher feelings of sensuality)
Then of course your cycles could be different. Like you could have long depressive cycles and short manic cycles. Or vice-versa. Or you could be balanced and have both cycles be around the same length.

My fiance was born with bipolar (got it from his mom who also has it) She is in her late 40s and he is 22. They both still have bipolar dissorder. So from what I've seen with people I know personally who have it, as well as myself. No I don't believe it just goes away. If it is a real life problem for you (like gets in the way of alot of things in your life.) try different medications until you find something (or a combination of somethings) that works for you.

I would be the very long manic cycles, and short depressive cycles (20 minutes or so). I've been looking it up and have asked the psychs, and we can't figure out just what type of bipolar I am.

Thats lucky, mine are pretty equal, but leaning more often to depressive.

I dunno which bipolar I am e.e I just know that for the most part, my moods are real unstable, and range anywhere from depression, anger, rage, and extreme hyperness/happyness. e.e Lately, my mood's been somewhat stable though.. I fall into the anger and rage every once in a while, but not to the degree that I used to before. Hm. I wonder why?

I dont think that my mood swings are ever gonna stop. I`m in a good periode now where I just get short manic cycles, but it will get much worse when i get the depressed cycles who can last for days...
And I dont get any help. I`m on a ******** list. And I will only get help when th person above me no longer need help. I can affourd to go to a private shrink. I`m trying to hide it from my mum...
So I will probably never know what kind of bipolar I am. Or even if I am bipolar (although I`m pretty sure of it).
