Doafan tidusjr MikoBura No Buu is from a pun from Disney in Cinderella (I don't really know the english name since that is called differently here), it's a spel a good witch (o.o;?) uses: Bibidi, Babidi, Boo. xp Bibadi, Babidi, Buu. My father actually figured that out before I did... sweatdrop Thats sad. I know...thing is, he was the one that got me into DBZ in the first place. He let me watch it while my mom was a work on Saturday mornings.

Thats really cool...how many you have. I knew a lot of those, but thats really cool with "Bibidi, Babidi, Boo" because all three were names of bad guys! xd

Wrong. The root vegetable Bardock's name comes from is Burdock, of which the Japanese pronunciation is BAADAKKU.
Wrong again. "Turles", a poor romanization of Tares who should have been translated as Tullece, is a pun on lettuce. Japanese TARESU, a scrambled form of RETASU, or lettuce.
I detailed more on all the Saiyajin names here.
Correct, but lacking clarifying explanation. "Tuffle" is another poor romanization for "Tsufurujin", the "tsufuru" coming from scrambling FURUTSU, the Japanese pronunciation of the English word 'fruits'. This is in the same way the "saiya" in Saiyajin is a scramble of the Japanese word for vegetables - yasai.
Also note that despite that Freeza's henchmen shared the fruit puns trend, they were not Tsufurujin. This was merely an error caused by the fact that Tsufurujin did not appear in the Manga and were created by the Anime only, whereas Freeza's henchmen had fruit pun names in both versions, creating a conflict.
Her original name actually IS Lunch, or RANCHI. "Launch" was the English version for no apparent reason.
Another instance of the English name being altered. Her original name is BRA, or BURA, but was changed to 'Bulla' the way Mr. Satan as changed to 'Hercule' because her name was considered somehow offensive. And yet I can see an entire episode of Kid's Next Door about bras or see Satan mentioned on the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, two shows that were broadcast on the same network rolleyes

Clarification - magic words from Cinderella were bippity, boppity, boo. Doubler also fits this category because 'Dabura' originally came from 'ABURA KADABURA', or Abra Cadabra, more magic words.

More clarification. After Piccolo and Kami-Sama all Namekseijin were named after slugs. Cargo was Escargot, Dende comes from 'dendenmushi', a slang for snail in Japanese, Nail does not come from NAIL but from SNAIL, the English word, Slug is obviously from slug, and Muuri, the elder of Dende's village, is part of the word 'katatsumuri', the Japanese word for snail. Piccolo/Kami-Sama's father, mentioned in passing by the Great Elder, is named Kattatz, which is the first part of the same word, katatsumuri.
PROJECT NOVA � Goku = Sky or Emptiness
Gokou's name isn't actually a pun, since his name was lifted directly from the original Chinese legend Journey to the West. The original Son Gokou/Sun Wukong's name comes from a meaning of he who defied Heaven. It's not a 'pun' by the Dragonball standard since Toriyama-Sensei did not technically 'name' Gokou.
Um...could not be more wrong. The dub version uses "Kai" in place of what the Japanese version calls Kaioh and Kaiohshin above them. Kaioh literally means "King of Worlds", and thus Kaioh-Sama is "Lord King of Worlds". The Kaiohshin, above them, are "Holy Gods of Worlds". Thus, Kaiohshin-Sama would be Lord Holy King of Worlds.
The deity that's name actually means "God" is the first revealed in the original Dragonball series - Kami-Sama. "Kami" literally means God, while the "-Sama" is the typical suffix that is used for venerable personages, often translated as "Lord" (both in the holy sense as well as the feudal one).
Shenron is the Japanese pronunciation of the Chinese Shenlong/Sheng Long, which means Dragon God in Chinese. Bear in mind that the Dragon God's name, as well as the names for all seven Dragonballs, are given in Chinese, with Japanese pronunciations, and are NOT Japanese words.
You probably missed some other puns as well, but for the most part, those are the major players in the series.

Chichi is indeed a slang term for 'father' but not in the sense that Chi-Chi from DBZ's name is given. Her name was intended to be a slang for breasts, and Kame Sen'nin makes a joke about this in one of the earliest Dragonball (not Z) chapters.
