"Oh, may I have a bowl of ramen with onions added?" Minori was extremely glad that they were the first ones there. She was slightly embarrassed at the sunday thing being brought up, but it was odd that he had thought it was a date. It had caused her to blush as well. "Oh sure, I'll get that for you," he replied as he turned to get the food. "Can you believe that no one else is in here? I mean, ramen is the best."

"I know, Ramen Is my favorite food." Faust replied. "Maybe today's just kind of slow for buisness" He picked up his chopsticks. "Anywhoo, that just means that we don't have to wait for everyone else's order to go thru." Minori sat down and the Ramen shop guy came up, two bowls of Ramen in hand. "Here you go, Pork for you" He replied, sitting down one bowl in front of Faust. "One with onions for the lady" He added, setting down minori's bowl. Faust picked up his chopsticks. Let's eat!" Faust replied.

"Thanks!" Minori said to the shop owner before grabbing her chopsticks and beginning to slurp in an unladylike way. Ramen was just too good to eat with manners. She paused, "Hey, whose class are you in? Does your teacher make your life miserable?"

"I'm in Tsumarako's Class, You probably know her as Queen Boring." Faust replied with a chuckle. "She drones on and on and on about history. God I wish she'd just stop talking once in a while." He complained, then slurping down the noodles noisily. He loved ramen more than any other food, and He was letting the owner know that. "So, how bout you?" Faust asked between slurps.

"I was stuck with Hamaguchi, King of a thousand Rules. Or to me, the king of detentions. He's the one that I thought was going to kill me." She couldn't resist the temptation of the noodles and took a few slurps before continuing. "Why did my mom force me into advanced math. I'm not even good at it."
"Sir may I have another bowl, please?" She had finished her first bowl inhumanly quickly and was still hungry from all the excitement.

Faust chuckled lightly. "Yeah, I've heard about him. Everyone seems to hate him." Faust replied. "Hey, get me another bowl while you're at it, will ya?" He called to the ramen shop owner. "Sure thing" he replied, arriving quickly with two more bowls. As they begun to slurp, several other people entered the shop, talking loudly. "Welcome!" the shop owner called to them. "yeah yeah," one of the people said, "get us..." he suddenly stopped upon seeing Faust. "Hey look, it's the Psycho of Queen boring's class" Faust turned, then sighed. ughh, not this again... he thought.

Minori turned to Faust and whispered," Hey Faust, do you know these baboons?" She looked at the rude people laughing loudly at some bad inside joke or something. Knitting her eyebrows together she wondered if they were going to go any further with their words. She tightened her lips determined not to show any emotion, but she resolved to ask Faust about them later.

Faust sighed, annoyed at the fact that his little "nickname" had come up. "Hey Girl, What's wrong with your eyesight? That's The little psycho you're sitting next to." One of them said, laughing. "He doesn't look that crazy to me." one of the others taunted. "Oh contrair, this little punk," the 'Leader' started. "Is said to snap at random times and beat the s**t out of people." Faust resumed eating his ramen. "C'mon little Psycho, show us how crazy you are" one of the others said. "Yeah Psycho, show us" the leader added, shoving Faust. Faust turned. "I'm trying to eat my ramen, please leave me alone..." Faust replied. The others just mocked him as he said this. "oh, the little psycho wants us to leave him alone. Well what are you going to do about it, Little Psycho?" he said, shoving Faust again.

Minori was quite irritated by the group. Psycho? Why don't they just shut up and think about others for once? She wanted to show an impression without any physical violence so she was struck with an idea. Nonchalantly, she brought her hand over to the salt pretending to have been hit by one of the guys. It knocked over, shattered and sent salt everywhere. "I'm sorry. This crowd is just too distracting. Lemme go get some napkins." She said this dripping with underlying sarcasm as she got up and pushed the people away from Faust. As she came back she did the same thing, creating a space between the two groups. "I'm sorry, but could you back away just a bit?" This time she was more open with her sarcasm. "If we keep bumping into each other like this we might have another spill. Why don't we talk to each other like nice, civilized people?" She smiled a fake, polite smile which, in fact, was quite creepy. She wanted them to give them some room.

The 'leader' frowned angrily. "Tch, shut up B**ch" he said, shoving Minori to the ground. About half a second after which, Faust had lifted him in the air, glaring at him angrily. "You know, You're getting on my nerves, punks. If you want Psycho, then you're going to get it." He snapped. After pausing for a bit, he threw the 'leader' down on the ground. "Just leave us alone. I don't want to have to deal with your language....Also," Faust added. "If you ever do anything like that again to one of my friends, I'll seriously hurt you." He finished with a glare. The 'leader cowered. "they were right, you are a psycho!!!" He screamed, and he ran off with the others, darting out of the store. Faust walked up to Minori. "Sorry about that. I didn't think they'd get violent." He said, extending a hand to lift her up. "Well, anyway, let's get back to our Ramen" He added, sitting back down.

"Thanks," Minori said grateful for the help up,"Ugh, I guess I was being a bit of an idiot trying that on them. My 'theatrics' weren't effective this time." She got serious for a minute and sat down beside Faust. "What I don't get is why they were so hostile towards you. Have you had trouble with them in the past?" Suddenly she felt very slow. Of course they haven't seen him before, they were provoking him to see if he would get angry.

"Well, not them, specifically..." Faust replied, lowering his eyes. "But with others. I am a little more famous than I let on, that nickname they called me by isn't something new to me." He cast his eyes downward, suddenly self concious.

"Uhh, well, nicknames are all cool and stuff, but that wasn't really an nickname was it. For one nicknames need to fit the person, and that didn't really fit. It sounded more like a put-down." Minori began to talk in order to not sound awkward, but she began to worry that she sounded insensitive. She changed her manner once more. "Well, tell me about it. There's no way I can do anything to help if I don't know the story." She attempted to sound uplifting or encouraging, but she felt like she hadn't succeeded.

"well..." Faust started. "I was always, kind of a pushover in school. You know the kid that always gets picked on?" He said, as if reciting some sterotype book. "Yeah, I was like that, but I was worse, I never fought back, or defended myself. I....never believed it would be right to..." He turned his head, a little shy. "Then one day, somebody kept shoving me around, and hitting me. Somebody came to stop it, a girl I think, and was hit too. Then, Next thing i knew, the guys were on the floor, all bruised up, and some even bloody. From then on, people tended to ignore me. except for the occasional tough guy, who after hurting me, would soon be on the ground." He turned back, a sad look on his face. "Since that first day, I've been known as 'the little psycho', a freak that snaps and hurts anyone that dares to make fun of him. So, I had no friends..." his eyes trailed off, sad.

"So we should try to change that nickname, right? Now that you do have some friends, why don't you show everyone that you're not a little psycho?" Minori was trying her best to say what might be appropriate in the situation but she felt as if she was falling short. She wasn't at all accustomed to dealing with bullies, reputations and such. She smiled in order to brighten the mood. Spinning around for a moment she pondered a few options. "It looks like that you don't like it when people who try to help you get hurt," she said as she remembered the girl in his story. "If that's the case you might need to be a bit more forceful without getting violent. No one will take you seriously if you say please." Ugh, what am I SAYING. How should I know about this? She turned around to where Faust couldn't see her face and made a face that showed her annoyance with herself. Straightening her face she turned back around and waited for a reaction, whether positive or negative.
