Clutching her gun in one hand and a rock in another, she shifted up onto the balls of her feet. Her heart jolted with fears as she watched as Sage opened the door to reveal the monsters on the other side. Knowing she'd only be a nuisance if she interfered, she stayed crouching quietly, ready to help at any moment. ((Only if Sage gets in trouble, Kayla isn't exactly the 'hero' type. ))

Sage looked at Kayla. "Lock the door behind me." Then she closed it shut. Slicing through one of the peoples arms as she got ready for them to attack her. The rest of the details were a bunch of nasty things that happened. Sage didn't want any of them getting through her defenses. When she was done though her right arm was showing metal to the most extreme. Her face was unblemished though but her leg as well did show some metal where bites and clawing hands had torn off some of her fake skin. She didn't have any more patches or anything big enough for these wounds. But the wires sticking out didn't stop any of her mobility in them. She would do fine as long as she recharged with some 'sleep'. "Kayla they are gone yu can let me in again please. I need some rest." (To kayla and most likely cedric when they wake up seeing wires come out of her right arm and leg might make her look a little bit like she wouldn't work properly.)

As Kayla opened the door cautiously she gawked at Sage's arm and legs. "Sage - You - You're skin! Do you need a b- I mean repair, or mechanic, or something?!." She cut herself short as she was about to say bandage, she hadn't quite fully realized that Sage was a machine. Quickly, she stepped out of Sage's way and raised her arms, ready to help Sage if she needed it.

Cedric was startled out of his sleep and yelled out, "don't touch the cheese!" Then when he was more fully aware of what was going on and aware that his previous statement made no sense at all he said, "what's the problem?"

Sage looked down at herself. "Hmmm...It does look worse then it is I assure you." She was touched by the concern though. She smiled at Cedric. "Nothing I am fine. She closed the door making it dark. I jsut need to shut down for a while but we will be safe. I'll do some scans and fix the wires in the morning. Its easier to work in the light."

The forest was black as pitch. Midnight had come and left already. Vagabond sailed through the trees testing the air every few moments for prey. There were some zombies but he was after real food.
He had found some wild fruit and some nuts earlier and added them to the small pack he had picked up in the tunnels, but if he could find a large beast it could feed more then just him.
Suddenly a familiar smell crossed his nose. Just the barest hint of it. He couldn't remember where he knew it from, but he knew it was something important.
In mid leap something hit him in the shoulder hard. Landing on the ground he looked up into a mass of shadows and bloodstained teeth.
( Yes that's right. Its back.)

" Shut UP! Shut UP! SHUT UP!" Vagabond bounded up and threw a nearby log at the black thing. The make shift missile sailed easily through the black mass of Teeth and blood. It Vanished with a nightmare's chuckle. As Vaga sunk to his knees with tears rolling down his cheeks he couldn't get the creatures face out of his mind. " Why does it have my FACE?"

"Okay." Kayla said quietly, taking Sage's word for it, she knew nothing about robotics anyways. While walking back to her seat, she passed by Cedric and smirked, "Oh, and sorry Cedric, we didn't bring any cheese."
(( Sorry, had to make a comment about the cheese thing xD ))

Cedric was confused and then said, "oh! yeah..... I was having some weird dream about cheese.... and it was a bomb... or something dangerous like that.... it made no sense."
(Haha, I am glad you said something. It is why I said it, to be completely random)

Sage gave a small chcukled,"Good nioght you guys. Your on your own for now I have to go to sleep for a bit. Wake me up when Vagabond comes back please." Without an answer she put herself into a deep sleep that she could only be awoken by touch.

"G'night Sage." Kayla replied before finding a spot on the ground and curling up into a comfortable and warm ball. A smile was still stretched across her face as she said, "Maybe you're dream is trying to tell you you're lactose intolerant?"

He awoke next to a deer's body. It had been dead for somewhere in the area of an hour. Vaga just couldn't get the words from his monstrous visitor out of his head. They scared him, and worse they made him hungry. Tearing a leg from the deer carcass he began to eat as he ran back to where the others were. As Vaga vanished back into the forest A sole figure lounged in a tree.
" kIlL. yOu muST KiLl. wE BotH kNow ThaT." With a liquid laugh the shadow dispersed as the sky greeted the coming sun with a hundred fire red clouds .
Just as dawn broke Vaga came upon the door to the tunnel. Zombie bodies lay about the place like broken dolls. A shock of worry ran through him. Were his companions ok? THeY aRE FoOd! " Shut up" He whispered to himself as he ran to the door.
Pounding on the door he spoke in a clear voice rather then a yell. To much notice would alert any other enemies to his presence. " Are you guys alright in there? Can you here me. It's Vagabond. "
( Ok i got a pack of local fruits and nuts. sadly im an east coast boy So my west coast friends what kind of fruits might I have found on that side of the country? O and any guesses on the Red type thing.)

(Hmmm an in his mind phantom? I wouldn't be sure what kind of berries would be around there though. Make some up.... I would think anyways.)

(Yeah, I am guessing some sort of schizophrenia... reminds me a lot of Gollum. All of your characters have been interesting, but this one intrigues me the most....
I live in Tennessee, but I would guess blueberries, raspberries, those sorts of things... strawberries?.... oh and grapes! grapes grow in California!)
Cedric was half awake at this time. He knew how to rest without sleeping, since Sage was too tired to keep watch. When Vaga got back he grabbed his weapon and opened the door, once he saw that it was him he said, "it's alright, we were apparently attacked after you left, but Sage handled it." Cedric looked outside, surprised by how many she had taken out on her own "How did I sleep through all that," he muttered under his breath.
