Jon smiled shaking his head at the apparent quarrel though he had no clue what was being said. "I can't think of anyone else, if I can help it at least." His eyes shot a warning to Nemo. "So does that settle it then?" In his mind it did at least. "What kind of set up do we need to have up here anyway?"

Nemo smiled at Puck, "But the clever rat never gets found by the little puppy." He had no problem saying his thoughts out loud towards the demon. Driving him crazy was just so much fun. He ignored Jon's look not caring what the man thought at the moment, Puck was too much of a distraction it seemed.

Anlu was slightly confused by his comment, but saw that the ear scratching made his tail wag, so she squatted down and used both hands to rub down and scratch around his neck, hoping it would make him feel better. What would any of your kind want with me? Last I checked no man, even one with less than half a brain, would want me... especially enough to chase... She raised one eyebrow, in a curious manner but her expression showed that she wouldn't press anything if he was too angry. a glare at Nemo, she growled herself, "Knock it off... there's no need for that." Her words bit the air, but would he listen to her?

Frowning for a moment even as his tail continued to wag from her attention to spots where he didn't dare scratch even though they itched like crazy, he nuzzled her cheek gently. Any male not attached to a female, and even some who were, demon or human, would chase after you, he assured her, sincerity dripping from every word. However, anger and annoyance laced his tone as he asked her pleadingly in a widespread mindspread so everyone heard, Can I turn into a dragon and eat him? Please? He gave her the puppy eyes, obviously really wanting to do it. The shifting part, not the eating part. He may fry Nemo a little, but desert rat tasted horrible according to some of his more eccentric cousins.

Mori smiled, relieved she hadn't forgotten anyone. She nodded her agreement, glad they had picked some where. Wrapping her arms loosely around Jon's waist and resting her forehead on his shoulder, she said honestly, "I don't know. The wildflowers will be enough decoration for me... Perhaps an arch or something for an altar, for formality's sake?" Mori had only been to a handfasting ceremony like her own village did. There, the couple stood under a terrace work arch where a priest tied a red ribbon around their wrists with a brief prayer, that simple. She send Jon an image of the arch she remembered from the last ceremony she attended through their mental link, though it hurt a little to remember back to that time in her life. Being close to Jon helped ease the ache she felt, though only by so much. She didn't even bother to retort to Puck's comment, knowing he wasn't being completely serious.

Jon wrapped his arms around her taking in her presence her warmth. He took in the image for a moment taking it in, "I can manage that. We only have one major thing left then, the date." Daunting? Yes, necessary? Yeah. The sooner they had a target date the sooner they would be able to better judge time.

Nemo made an innocent and playful face and jested at Puck, "Sorry Pucky I'm sure to give you indigestion." The thief never showed fear, it was part of his policy.

Anlu couldn't help but smile. Not long after he's shown his annoyance towards her, he was reassuring her of being atleast slightly attractive. So does that mean you'll still sick your demon friends on me? Her mind laughed at this thought as she continued to rub and scratch his neck. More laughter rang out, audibly this time, at the most adorable puppy face. "Awwwww... that face temps me to say yes, but I can't... " Though I would love to see that form of yours sometime... when you aren't trying to eat someone? She hugged him as she thought this.... which was an odd gesture, for her anyways. It wasn't too long ago that he'd been annoying the snot out of her, and now look what happened. She wasn't too sure what was going on, but she just felt like going with the flow for now. Sighing again, she looked at Nemo, not with annoyance, but just a normal look. "Stop calling him that, please... it creeps me out..." She added the please to be nice. After all, she was trying to make friends with people.

I'd best not take it now then... Eating him is far too tempting, Puck told her with a resigned sigh. Snarling at the thief, he said, She is why I'll leave you alone, so don't go getting the idea in your head that you saved yourself. I'd eat you in a heartbeat. His tail wagged again when Rin stood up for him against that horrid nickname. It wasn't the first time he was mocked because of his name, but he didn't like it either. It was nice to be protected for a change.

Mori smiled even as she tucked her head under Jon's chin to protect both of them from the chill of the sea wind, the winter weather getting even to her. "Well, the wildflowers won't bloom till spring," she reminded him softly and suggested, "So when the flowers are blooming and the chilly weather has passed?" It came out as a question rather than a statement. With winter only beginning to settle over them, spring wasn't too close or too far away. And the shorter Fornicatus had to complicate the reception, the better in Mori's mind.

Jon nodded as he held her slightly tighter against the wind, "So I take it that that means you want to do it shortly after all of the wild flowers have bloomed. Sounds good with me. Plus the less time the captain has to plan the reception the better, I mean the thought of what she might plan scares me slightly." He laughed slightly, "Now if only we can keep the peace between Nemo and Puck, till then." That would also give him time to work on other things.

Nemo laughed slightly and shook his head, "Alright I'll stop teasing the demon for your sake miss Anlu." He looked over at Puck, "What do ya say Puckey Poo? Truce?" It was going to be difficult considering how much of a target Puck made himself for Nemo's taunts. He would restrain himself for Anlu's sake though, she seemed to be putting herself in the middle of it slightly.

Anlu's grin spread across her face. I'd be tempted as well if I were in your place... Her mood was considerably light at the moment, as she continued giving Puck's neck and ears a good rub down, scratching here, itching there, and so on. Turning to Nemo again, her smile did not fade. "Thank you, Nemo, I appreciate it... " Her words were sincere, no scarcastic tone at all. She wondered somewhat how much longer Jon and Mori were planning to plan the wedding out while here. She thought it might be nicer to go someplace warmer, considering the cill in the air had a bite to it, but the scenery was nice... and she'd hate to spoil their mood.

Mori picked up on Anlu's feelings and let her body shudder like it had wanted to for a flea's age now. "Okay, when the freak with the higher temperature is cold, that is a sign to hurry to a fire somewhere and curl up for the rest of the day," she said with a laugh. "I vote that we go back to the Living Quarters and snag the closest spot by the fireplace as possible. We can talk about thwarting Fornicatus's attempts to make us the center of everyone's attention there." And plans there would be. Mori was not going to be shoved into the limelight, no way. She would surely embaress herself.

Puck nodded at his aunt, glad she had made the suggestion that they go somewhere warmer. However, he looked to Anlu and said, Go ahead with them. I'm going to try and catch some more thermals while I'm here, hopefully without any more goshawks decided I'm their ideal catch. He gave her cheek a playful lick as thanks for her continuing to scratch him in places that he couldn't himself. However, he glowered at Nemo. He wasn't the one harrassing the man in the first place, he didn't need to call the truce. However, he nodded his head in agreement to that as well. The man was a pain, but he had spunk, the demon could credit him with that much.

Jon nodded in agreement, "That's the only vote that matters to me." He lifted her from the ground in his arms. He held her close to feel her warmth against the chill of the winter wind. Jon started moving back through the forest with Mori, this wasn't like the cobweb forest he could remember his way back for the moment. 'It would seem that we almost have all of the planning done, especially with the captain handling the reception." He was surprised how much easier the entire event was thanks to that one contribution.

Nemo greeted the nod with a smile and started to follow Jon's path, "Ya know Puck you might not be such a bad fella after all. Who knows maybe once ya loosen up a little you might like me a bit more. If I ever get a chance ta, I'll by ya a drink when ya need it, it could be possible for thieves to not be as bad as you think we are. Jon was one once one of the best in our little clan, and you seem to put up with him well enough." With that Nemo went silent following Jon knowing better than to interrupt what time the poor b*****d had with Mori.

Anlu just nodded in agreement to Puck, before getting up and following Jon and Mori out. She could hear what Nemo's last fords, for now, to Puckw ere... She did hope the two of them would get along. Sighing softly, she watched the white could of breath come from her lips. It really is cold... heh...

Not too long after, they had made it to the big tree. Looking at it, she touched it's bark and then turned towards the others. "I'll catch up with you guys later, alright? I think I wanna stick around my brother for a bit before I go in." Smiling she pointed the direction the Dawn castle was in before waving them off. "See you guys later!" Once they left she would be alone, especially with Puck busy doing other things... All she wanted to do at the moment was talk... and if anyone else were around, well, it would look very odd.

Biting her lip to muffle her yelp as she found herself off the ground, she gave Jon a look of affectionate annoyance as they headed back into the trees. "You are going to be a wee bit on the over protective side if I'm ever pregnant, aren't you?" she mused aloud. He was already treating her like glass and she was perfectly fine. However, she returned her thoughts to the reception and commented, "Yes, asides from all the making of everything we've planned, we're finished, I think. And I wouldn't have a clue as to what to do for a reception, so I'm relieved that she took over it, though I'm also a little frightened." Fornicatus was prone to making things overly elaborate in Mori's opinion.

Puck didn't even look at Nemo as the man commented and left, only sending him a somber thought, If I am ever drinking, you need to be as far from me as possible. I will not promise you safety otherwise. For a full-demon, Puck was amazingly sober. He only drank when he was truly depressed. As soon as Anlu was out of hearing distance, Puck focused on his wolf shape. He wasn't trying to perfect it, simply modify it a bit. With thieves and all the people coming for Mori's wedding, he would rather stay with Anlu than leave. He planned to change his form into that of a dog and hopefully fool the girl into taking him home with her. He wanted to protect her, so strongly that it overwhelmed him at times. Nothing would stop him... Nothing...

Jon continued with Mori straight through and out he forest toward the Living Quarter, with a smile and slight laugh, "Of course, why wouldn't I be. I mean no offense but you are a bit accident prone and a tad bit of a target for nasty things, we can't have that now can we." He smiled and held her close hoping to arrive soon.

Nemo's stomach growled slightly for a moment, when was the last time he had eaten? He wasn't sure, either way though food seemed like a pleasant idea for the time, "I'll catch you love birds later I'm going to go find some grub if you don't mind my disappearing." With those words the large bandit king was gone, off in the direction of food.

(Anlu hasn't agreed to that yet, Eva!)

Anlu watched them go, and proceeded to look at the marker that was her brother's grave. Smiling faintly she back away and looked up into the blurred tree branches. She remembered the times when her and her brother climbed into the branches and hid, even slept in the branches once. Thing was... she always needed his help before. Smirking faintly, she was convinced that she could do it on her own... if only just this once. She would do it to proove she could.

Backing away, she made a wide circle around the tree, to find the entry point her brother had pushed her up into before. Spying what seemed to be a good spot, she gave herself a running start before jumping up at it, grabbing at the bark to scramble her way up. With a groan, she slipped and slid down the tree trunk all the way down. Shoot, I know I can make it... Just because I needed help before doesn't mean I need it now! I'm a different person! Gritting her teeth, she tried again, and again, and again, until she finally made it up onto the first branch. Climbing up from there would be relatively easy. Going up further, one branch after another, she made it to the special spot where her and her brother sat to watch the summer sunset. Leaning back against the trunk, she examined the sratched up and down both of her arms, and wrists where many scratches were present, one or two even drew a bit of blood. Shaking her head, she gazed off into the distance.

Anlu listened to the sounds of the forest around her, the whistle of the breeze through the branches of the evergreens, The crackle of a twig benieth the feet of a creature a little ways off, even the sight of her frost bitten breath before her eased her in a way. How she missed her brother... If he had been there, he would be sitting behing her, and she'd be curled into a ball staying as close to him as possible to keep warm. Those days were long gone though... and there was no getting them back.

"Remember that pirate friend you introduced me to, brother?" Her voice was only a whisper at the time. "You told me that he helped you fund your experiemnts... that without his help you wouldn't have been able to create the Blood Moon... He was pretty nice now that I think about it. He scared me the first time I saw him... Heh, I remember you laughing at me for that." A small grin spread across her face as she thought back to those days of bliss. "He even taught me a pirate song or two... One was actually pretty funny, though I liked the other better." As if she'd cured herself, she'd started to sing... softly at first but then her voice grew... Even though it was of talking level, her song could echo though the woods slightly.

"They killed all his men... stole the queen from her bed...
and bound her in her bones...
The seas be ours an' by the powers...
Where we will, we'll roam..."

The rest of the tune she hummed to herself, rocking back and forth on the branch with closed eyes. All she could see now was the two of them with his friend, singing together... watching others drink, booming loudly. It was all fun and games then.
