Kitai looked at her as if she had said something wrong. He merely shook his head as he stood there. "No..you are one in the same my lady." He said to her lightly. "Do you believe in past lives?" He asked her lightly as he stood there. "You were born once in 1203....once again in 1605....and then again in 1986..you are exactly who i think you are." He said to her simply, and gently pulled her closely to him, "I can prove it to...if you let me." He said to her lightly.

Yes he was smooth, no doubt about that. He didn't do nothing more, he just either waited for a reply, or some sort of reaction then he'd make his move. So he stood there, and just simply waited.

Aislinn groaned and ripped her hair from the braid, hoping that it would stop the throbbing. It didn't but it was worth a try. She listened to Kitai list off the years that she had supposedly been born and snorted. As if she didn't have enough problems as it was. If what he was saying was true, she was in far deeper trouble then she thought. When he pulled her up and kept her near him, she didn't have the strength to resist.

"If I was reborn so many times, then why me?" She asked irritably, clutching her eyes closed due to her headache. "It is common knowledge that someone is reborn again only because they have unfinished business. What kind of business do I have to finish then?" When he offered to prove it to her, she sighed. "If you can prove it, then I will believe you."

Kitai looked at her as he held her closely to him, she had given him the okay to go ahead but then again he didn't know how she'd take it. Usually having a strong psychic connection helped, but back then whenever she had wanted to know something he would place a kiss on her. Kitai continued to look at her for a moment before he just leaned in slowly and placed his lips against hers lightly. He felt powerful yet gentle all at the same time. A first there wasn't really anything but then a strong psychic wave was sent from him to her. He wanted to show her everything, but he wasn't going to just throw it all out on her right away, just simply things clues to help her remember what it was that she had long forgotten. Maybe just maybe he could help her remember everything, then again he wasn't sure.

He pressed his lips deeper against hers as he stood there holding her closely to him. How much would she remember? He didn't know, only she would.

Through the ominous darkness that seemed to still cloak Aislinn's mind, she barely felt Kitai pull her closer against him. She wouldn't budge when he moved closer to her, to weary to put up too much of a fight. When his lips touched hers ever so gently, she felt her body spark back to life once again. Her own poor form moved on its own accord as it drew closer to the man she had just barely met, yet felt as if she had known for years then placed her hands on his chest softly.

Her reactions seemed do natural to Aislinn as she pressed her lips a bit harder against his, her hands fanning out against his chest. Then she felt a wave of energy flow into her from his lips then shift into what felt like static electricity as it coursed through her body. She gasped against his lips, her pupils narrowing as they did once she was enveloped into a vision. Her body would crumble into a shuddering mass as the energy consumed her. If Kitai did not catch her, she would fall to the floor.

Images and some unexpected knowledge suddenly began to flood through her tired mind. It was as if a key had opened the path to a whole new world. Just as suddenly as it had started, the power disappeared. She was thrown back into reality so forcefully that her trembling form ship upright, sending her head to twirl around frantically.

Kitai held onto her tightly as he stood there and just held her closely to him, he didn't know quite what to say at that moment in time, just hoped he hadn't in a way hurt her as he sat there looking down at her. "Are you alright?" He asked her as he held her closely to him, in a way to keep her warm, even though she had a jacket on. Kitai just held her closely, he didn't say a word after that, he was going to wait for her to reply first.

He rocked back and forth gently as he stood there looking at her, he rested his chin lightly on her shoulder, as he stood there.

Aislinn clung onto him for dear life as she drew her breath back in gasps. She had seen faces, so many faces. Her heart seemed to recognize them all, but her mind still refused to identify most of them. Tears began to roll down her cheeks freely as she embraced Kitai's strangely warm body. When Kitai began to rock her gently, Aislinn felt her desperation begin to diminish along with her tears.

"You helped me see that didn't you?" She asked softly, never looking up at him. "I don't know how you did but I have never seen a vision that clear before." It was only then that she would wiggle free from his grasp, but only far enough to look up into his eyes. "It is impossible!" She gasped breathlessly, trailing her finger down his cheek as if she was unsure that he was real."I wasn't a priestess and you aren't a demon! Are you?"

Kitai held onto her lightly, his yellow eyes stared into her intently as he stood there. Him? Not a demon? Was she serious? He just gave her this weird expression like what she had said was unheard of. If he wasn't a demon then he couldn't of possibly lived to see all that. "I am a demon." He said to her lightly."Why would I lie to you about something like that?" He asked her lightly, she could always show her his demon form, but then again she didn't know he'd handle that, that much more darker and definitely eviler side was to hard to control and even more so, seeing a beautiful women such as her, it'd go berserk, and there was really no need for that. His hair would turn a fiery red as would his eyes, and he had ancient markings all over his skin. He never once showed his true form...not even to her in a past life. There were tales about him, they were never good, what always seemed as something good to him was always bad.

But he had promised her once before, he'd try ot be nice, it seemed to work out for him. Most other demons thought he was crazy, that he'd gone soft, but never once did they speak again. He was all powerful in the netherworld, lower demons would cower at his name and go hide in his presence. She usually found it funny, he never showed his more angry side towards her...no...he had always been calm around her. The only time he had ever been angry was that day. That very hurtful day. He looked at her and just simply asked, "Have you ever heard of the demon named Sonneillon Belial Adramelech?" He asked her lightly as he stood there his gaze rising to look before her as if he had heard a noise from afar. He sighed lightly before he continued, "Or if his name not be known..the demon of hatred...one who brings out the wickedness and guilt one feels on the inside..Ughm....The King of Fire?" It was true, he may be a very powerful fire demon, but there were other abilities he had, all demons were the same, it all depended on their name, and his was Sonneillon Belial Adramelech. Everyone referred to him as Kitai, not even demons in the netherworld knew his name, he had made up a fake one. He never did like his real name. He hated it, but that was probably because

Aislinn stared up at Kitai blankly, struggling to digest this information. This truly wasn't happening to her, was it? She must be dreaming. This was one Hell of a dream! She had never dreamed up such a hot guy before and she was told often that she had a vibrant imagination. However the unnatural heat that radiated from Kitai's chest beneath her hands was a little more than disconcerting. She pinched her arm, just to make sure. Her mouth hovered open slightly as she looked up at the man before her. No poof, no waking to be in her warm comforting bed. She was still in the arms of the most beautiful man she had ever seen.

She was in trouble!

"I'm sorry. What?" She asked softly, suddenly realizing that he was speaking to her.

She listened the inconveniently long name and felt a surge of familiarity fill her. Sonneillon Belial Adramelech. Something tasted sweet about the name as she played it over in her mind, but she felt as if it should be feared as well although no such emotion stung at her. As Kitai listed off some of the lesser names that this demon had been called, she felt a tingling sensation surround her much as what happened during her deja vu moments which seemed to be happening more and more these past days.

"The name sounds familiar, but I can draw no face to it. Perhaps if I-"
Her words were chopped short when her vision became clouded with another vision, her energy running into Kitai through her hands on his chest. Perhaps he can see the vision too.....

She was dragged from her modern day home to a field just outside a village. A thunderous castle loomed over the small village as if it was a dark soldier. In the midst of the field stood a young woman, her long blond hair and medieval dress rustling in the slight wind as it tickled the field of heather around her. Her spiritual eye moved to show a very familiar face. It was her! Well, a much pretty form of her, but her none the less.

Then a dark form entered the clearing, molding and shifting beside her medieval self. It was Kitai! her ancient self turned to look at his clouded face and smiled. Without hesitation she wrapped her arms around him, a joyful expression on her face. She felt her hands clench Kitai's modern day shirt reflexively. She heard the apparitions whisper to each other quietly and she craned herself to hear.

"I am sorry, Kitai, but I must face this fate alone." She heard the blond woman state. She saw Kitai's lips move, but heard nothing. "It is my fate to burn, love. You cannot change that." She looked up at him with an emotion in her eyes that Aislinn could not explain. "I will see you again....someday." Then her previous self leaned up and kissed Kitai tenderly, sending Aislinn careening back to the real world.

Thank heavens for Kitai embracing her or Aislinn was positive she would have fallen to the ground. Clutching onto his shirt with trembling hands, she looked up at Kitai with a new understanding.

"You are Sonneillon Belial Adramelech, aren't you?" She posed in a voice barely above a whisper. "You were there the day I was burned at the stake, weren't you?" She looked into his eyes in complete bewilderment.

Kitai looked at her, holding her closer. He found out that everytime she seemed to grow weak at her legs he'd hold her closer. He sighed lightly, he had seen her vision, that was a thing about him, about his burning desire for her. He could see into her mind. Even if he was a thousand miles away he could feel her pain...her joy and what her mind might see. He had seen some of her dreams but he wasn't going to say anything about them or of them. He merely cringed when she spoke his name. That name that was practically burned into his skin at his birth. In his demonic form, it was visible, the lines under his eye, etched onto his hands and back. They all spoke a part of his name. Symbols defining Hatred...guilt...wickedness and the marking for the king of fire. He held her tighter, feeling a burning sensation at the pit of his soul. It was awake now, no one dared ever speak his name. Only him, usually it was kept secret from all. Anyone that was acquainted with his power feared him. He didn't want her to fear him.

He sighed greatly and merely nodded, "..Yes...that is my name.." He choked out. It felt like someone had grabbed a hold of his neck and was strangling him to death. He knew what it was though...he felt it tugging at his soul. He wanted out, his 'second image' wanted to be free. To reign king of its throne once more. He wasn't going to allow it though, he'd kill himself before he let that happen. "As far as being there...the day you burned....no I wasn't there...I was sealed away in an amulet..an Irish man had sealed me away..and sold the amulet to a Scottish king. The men knew not the power he was dealing with, he thought if he freed my soul..I'd be a slave to him...he regretted bringing me back." He spoke sharply as he stood there. The man did to, the king of that time met a grizzly fate. It was dishonorable to try and tame a demon, when one had no power over him at all. Threatening to seal him back in the amulet was pointless...he hadn't the power to do so even if he did.

Kitai looked down at her, nuzzling her softly, "Are you alright my dear? Perhaps you should go back to bed.." He said to her softly. He eyes narrowed somewhat as he stood there holding her closely though, "I'm going to ask you a favor though...please don't ever call me by that name...just Kitai..please.." He said to her in a somewhat distressed voice. Sure his powers weren't as powerful when in full demonic form. That didn't make him any weaker though, it was obvious he was powerful. Anyone that knew him better then that though, knew he was just that more deadly. He kissed her forehead lightly, "That vision you saw...I wanted to save you..but it was to late...by the time I had gotten there...the whole thing was nothing but a pile of ashes." He sighed lightly to her and dug into his pocket for something. "That whole night and many days afterward I sat there...running my hand lightly threw them..." He pulled out another small necklace and a ring.

He held them out in front of her lightly, "I gave this necklace to you many years ago..when I had first met you." It was on a light gold chain down in front of it was a small alchemist like pendant, a circle with symbols inscribed around the edges but in the middle was a blood red gem, it fit into the ring that held teh inscriptions and in teh center of that was a small moon shaped charm. "It changes with the moon.." He said looking at it lightly before unlatching the chain and wrapping it around her neck. "She had passed it down...it is yours.." He said to her before looking at the ring and just placed it in her pocket. It had a similar blood red gem in it, with a light band, the same little symbols inscribed on the inside of the band. "Yours also.." Kitai didn't look at her after that, but he lifted her up.

He wasn't going to trust her walking outside, especially since she kept almost falling to the ground. He cradled her in a way and leaped high into one of teh stone windows of the castle. He was going to put her to bed, but then he'd have to go. Even though much time had passed some things stayed the same. One being the relationship between humans and demons. He might not of looked the demon part but every now and then hsi eyes would flash the blood red color of his demonic form. He sighed lightly, "Where is your room.." He asked her gently. He felt uneasy on the inside of teh castle, it looked to much like the inside of the one he had practically destroyed over a thousand years ago.

Aislinn felt her heart flicker within her chest as Kitai gathered her closer to him, embracing her as if she were as fragile as glass. Yet his grasp was far from weak which made her feel as feeble as a ninety year old woman. Her visions were leaving her weak and mentally drained but it was nothing compared to what Kitai was doing to her. The mere thrum of the energy around them should have been enough to cause her to flee, but she found her feet quite rooted to the ground. As long as he held her up anyway. It truly didn't help her sorry form - - nor the state of her pathetically confused mind - - that her soul suddenly felt quite divided.

Her memories, though she had a feeling that they were few compared to what would one day come, brought with them a strange revival of feelings that she had never known she possessed for anyone. They seemed to have been in deep hibernation, lurking there for just the single chance to spring to the top. That frightened her to say the least. Here was a man that she had known for maybe a few hours holding her as if she was the most precious thing in the world while he spouted out tales of past lives and demons as if it were an everyday occurrence. That fact alone left her thoroughly questioning her sanity when she found herself unable to do anything but accept the questionable facts. She was believing him and dreading the moment that she would have to let him go.

His cringe at the mention of his name reverberated through her with a sting of shame and dread with it. A sense of insecurity overwhelmed her senses at the thought that she had hurt him, her arms now hanging uselessly beside her. Aislinn knew she had struck a tender cord with him and made a silent vow that she would not mention his name again if it meant that she would not cause him further pain. He wanted her to remember; However she felt the mighty walls erected in her mind, standing between her and the rest of her recollections.

She listened as he explained his part in the tale before her apparent stake burning in her first life and felt a stinging sensation fill her eyes. The pain that now filled her had come out of no where and stabbed at the back of her eyes. She couldn't begin to imagine the Hell he must have been through during his sealing within an amulet, but she couldn't help but shiver at the thought of the far too graphic image of the Scottish King's demise filled her mind's eye. The man had sought to control the man that now held her captive in his arms. That was a mistake the man had only made once. More to hide her tears than anything else, she threw her arms around his waist and laid her head on his chest, drawing him closer to her while she struggled to keep the tears beneath her eyes by clamping her eyes shut. She nodded sluggishly at his mention for her to be to bed, but she had a feeling that she would not be able to sleep. His voice sounded even more charming when she was listening to it rumble beneath his chest! Her head moved shakily once again in the affirmative when he requested her not to use that name again, blinking back the few tears that had squeezed from beneath her closed eyelashes. His kiss to her forehead made her shiver once again with a sense of longing to have him do so again.

When he began to tell her of his stay near her ashes, she felt a very soft gasp of shock escape her mouth and she move away a bit to look up into his eyes. Her eyes were wide in astonishment as the image of him sitting beside the dusty remains of her body. He had mourned her death? A cool wind that she could not identify blew down the back of her neck and caused her to wince. Her heart was heavy with sorrow, but she could not wrap her mind around the fact that he had suffered from her death all those years ago. Had she truly caused him so much grief? She then caught herself staring up at him with so much desire flowing through her veins that she could only think of how sweet his lips had tasted when he had kissed her earlier. She shook her head sharply. It was fatigue, she decided. It couldn't be that he was so infectiously handsome that she could use that word to describe any other man ever again.

When he pulled out the necklace and ring, she gaped at them as a tingling of remembrance filled her. They were gorgeous to say the least and she felt no words coming from her mouth as it struggled to form something that might resemble speaking. Her mouth merely worked, but she found herself powerless to say anything. The brush of his fingers on her neck as he latched the necklace made her breath leave her chest. He merely touched her and she felt herself nearly crumbling into a pool at his feet!

She in more trouble than she had previously thought.

“Wait! What are you doing?” She asked fearfully as he picked her up in his arms. “I can walk!”

When he jumped up into the air, she wrapped her arms around his neck as his name burst from her chest as a panicked scream. She had never felt more relief in her short life than when Kitai's feet landed inside the window of the castle. Unfortunately she could not unravel her arms from around his neck as she gasped for the breath that refused to enter into her. She had a feeling she would have to get used to this kind of leaping about at unnatural heights. Finally able to pry her arms from their startled gasp on him, Aislinn looked to the door to her right and nodded weakly.

“This is my chamber.” She croaked faintly.

She looked up in time to see his eyes flash a bloody red. Then it was gone. An odd pity filled her breast and she froze when she realized that her hand was moving towards Kitai's cheek. No point in stopping halfway since he was sure to have noticed her movement. She cupped his cheek with a timid hand then drug her knuckles gently over his cheek bone, seeking to comfort him for some unknown misdeed. A blush flared on her cheeks at the realization at what she was doing and she focused her gaze on his lips. Big mistake. Her face flushed an even deeper shade of red at the memory of his kiss. She unlatched the necklace that she had been found with the day she appeared at Wicchehaven and gently wrapped it around his neck, latching it into place.

“A gift for a gift.” She murmured shakily, refusing to look into his eyes once again. “It isn't much, but it is the only thing that I truly own.” She flipped the pendant over to show the rune covered front that bore her name in Gothic print letters. “Thank you, Kitai. For the necklace and ring.” She said suddenly, looking down at her pendant that hung on his chest. “I'm sorry that I can't remember more....”

Kitai merely shook his head, "I know you can walk...but such an intake might make you dizzy.." He said to her lightly as he let her down onto her feet. He didn't let her go untill he was sure she'd be able to stand on her own. He looked at the small amulet that hung around his chest lightly, and took it gently into his finger tips and ran them over it faintly. He clutched it a moment before tucking it lightly inside his shirt, the small chain still merely visible. "Don't worry..I'm sure you'll remember all you need to when you are ready.." He said to her lightly with a nod, "Im quite sure If can I track down my brother..he might be able to help you more then I.." He said to her lightly, "...He was there when you had burned...he wanted to save you...but rules are rules for what he is." He said a bit coldly, to him all rules were meant to be broken if it meant the one you loved was safe. Then again he couldn't blame Kiyoshi, it wasn't his fault.

He looked back at the window, the moon was just a few hours away from sunrise, and he'd have to go somewhere. Some people still had instinct when it came to demonic foes. Alot of them still uneasy with them about. In a way it made him fear for her safety, what would happen if he left? How many in this time had been told of his name? He side, running both his hands threw his hair, he grasped a hold of her arms strongly but with the utmost care and pulled her towards him for a final kiss before he'd get to see her again. Who knew...it could be a day or so, he wasn't sure, depended on the people around her and what business would be brought to him that afternoon. he looked at her gently caressing her cheek lighlt his the palm of his hand before he turned away from her.

"Please...just remember my call...and if you ever need me...don't hesitate to call my name...whether it be yelled to the heavens or a breathless whisper...I'll come back for you...mark my words....however this coming night or the night after I'm not sure if I can meet you here...if you want to meet me." He said to her lightly, before he pulled a small jewelry like case out of his pocket and turned back around to place it in her hands. By the time it had reached her palms his head rested lightly in her shoulder, "If you can..send word...but please...be kind to him." He said to her lightly placing a last kiss on her cheek before turning to jump out the window. A small drop, was a joke to him before he reached the ground he had become engulfed in flames and shot away into teh night.

Like a dragon of fire running to hide into its cave from a night. The only difference being, this dragon was afraid of any man, and would surely challenge anyone that got into his way. As he made his way deep into the woods a star seemed to fall from the sky, but it wasn't just any star for it shown brighter then any star from before. It feel, but seemed to land on what seemed like a high mountain thousands of miles away, next to a flame that appeared to burn on top of it. Kitai stood there looking back in the direction that he had run from, was it a good idea to leave? He regretted leaving her. He didn't want to, but now wasn't the greatest time in the world to find her..someone had escaped, the only question was...where were they hiding. He stood tall turning his gaze to the 'star' that had fallen.

His brother stood up in his much holy attire, he was doing his job, when he wasn't entitled to place stars up at night or other business he wore what seemed to be normal clothing. But as of the moment his gown glew brilliantly, it was almost blinding.

"Any chance you can turn that light off?" Kitai asked Kiyoshi with a slight demonic grin. He just shook his fist at him, "Heh..I suppose you know where I can find the off switch!?" He said with a light smile. "I can't stay long...have you found out anything more?" He asked him with a slightly faint look in his eyes. Kiyoshi looked at him, in a way he knew that look all to well, he had found his loved one once more and he feared for her, he never knew Kitai to show affection towards anyone else but her..

A smile grew across his face lightly as he stood there, "No..not yet...My duty is almost over...in the afternoon...meet me here....I should know something by then." Kitai only nodded and looked back towards the castle, before started to walk down teh mountain at a normal pce...running at a demonic speed was never any fun.

Aislinn gasped in horror as Kitai jumped from the window. Clutching the jewelry box to her chest, she grasped the edge of the window and peered out in time to see Kitai disappear into a poof of flame. A smile grew on her face and her body relaxed slowly. I don't think I will ever get used to that! she mused, her heart slowly returning to its normal rhythm.

Suddenly a familiarly obnoxious buzzing sound sounded from her room, sending her heart scurrying once again. It was just her alarm clock signaling her that it was time to get ready for school! She was loosing the few wits she still possessed it seemed. She drew in a deep, calming breath as she slipped back into her chamber to silence the offensive electronic. 6:00 AM. It flashed ominously.

Aislinn scrubbed her face, cursing her body for choosing now to be tired instead of three hours ago when she could have had some more sleep. Then again, she wouldn't have met Kitai if she had slumbered longer. Dragging her large dufflebag from beneath her bed to discard it on her comforter, Aislinn tried to push the thought of Kitai out of her mind. The mere thought of him made her fluttery! He had appeared to her not even three hours ago and she already felt as if she would never be the same again. Not to mention the feeling that her life itself would never be normal again. Not that it could have been counted as normal in the first place...

Suddenly the sound of a Celtic song filled the air which brought her to look at her quivering phone at its resting place on her night stand. She picked it up to see VIVIAN glowing on the outer screen of her cell. She smiled, flipped open her phone and began to throw clothes into her bag.

"Good Morning, sunshine!" An overly cheery voice chimed from the other end of the phone line in a very thick Highland accent. "Ye're awake. I am astounded!" Aislinn snorted.

"Good morning to you too, Viv." Aislinn replied lightly as her own voice let loose the accent of her homeland, tossing in her gym clothes and everything needed for the day into her bag before she zipped it up.

"Seriously, what were ye doin' before I called?" Vivian inquired curiously. "I always have to wake ye up in the mornin'." Aislinn looked down at the necklace Kitai had given to her, fingering the cool surface in silence for a moment.

"Dreamin'." She answered simply, shaking her head firmly to clear her head that had once again turned to Kitai.

She shoved the amulet in her shirt and tossed her bag towards the door. Vivian laughed over the phone as Aislinn put her cell back on its stand, transferring the conversation to a small speaker system while she began to shed her clothes.

"Dreamin'?" Vivian chuckled while Aislinn pulled on a comfortable pair of jeans. "That is dangerous for yer health, Aislinn! Especially with the imagination ya have." Aislinn rolled her eyes, donning her tavern wench style shirt and fastening her bodice into place.

"Trust me, I know." Her voice sounded a bit depressed even to her own ears. She desperately hoped Vivian had not heard her tone. She couldn't be that lucky.

"Something's wrong." Vivian pointed out. "What's goin' on?"

"Why don't we wait for you to begin the interrogation until when we can talk face-to-face, aye?"
Aislinn offered as she dragged a brush through her hair. The phone was silent.

"Very well, but I want to know the details on the ferry to the mainland, aye?" Vivian compromised finally. "You are still comin', right?"

"Aye, I'll be at the dock in thirty minutes." Vivian chuckled.

"I'll beat you there!"

The line went dead suddenly and Aislinn felt a smile grow on her lips once again when she reached to turn off her phone. Aislinn slipped back into her jacket, grabbed her duffle bag and her backpack then slipped out of her room. The castle was dark, but not unmanageable when one had run the halls for so long causing havoc. Stopping for a moment to return Brega to his stall, Aislinn made her way to an old shed that had been converted to a mini garage for her ride. With practiced ease, she strapped her bags to her bike, strapped herself into a helmet then ripped out of the courtyard, streaking up the road towards the loading dock.

Her day laid ahead of her as she drove. Self defense class would take up a few hours of her morning, classes at the college would reach until early afternoon and then she would be at the mercy of her drill sergeant dance teacher for a prison sentence of a few hours. Perhaps she would skip early and return to Old Woman Shia's hut to return to her lessons on being an upstanding witch to her clan. Most importantly she would find a way to get Kitai out of her head before she went insane!

She would arrive at her destination before Vivian which didn't surprise her in the least. She parked in the same old spot and leaned on her bike in the same old fashion, but for some reason it seemed different today. She looked down at Kitai's ring on her left finger and looked at it in the dim light, twirling it absentmindedly. She thought too much and she knew it, but who could stop thinking about such an attractive demon? She felt oddly....observed, as if someone was watching her every move but no one was around as far as she could see.

Time passed and Vivian appeared just as the ferry arrived. Aislinn ignored her questions until they both had boarded the ferry with their bikes and we well on their way. Then she would quietly explain to Vivian everything that had transpired that morning, down to the last kiss. She even explained her memories and what she had learned of one of her previous lives. Vivian would remain intent on her words but allowed no emotion to play on her face, asking only a few questions every now and then. Once her tale was told, Aislinn leaned on the railing of the boat and waited for her friend's reply. Vivian was silent a long time, but finally moved to lean on the railing with her.

"I'll have ta meet this man." She said finally, nudging Aislinn's shoulder playfully and smiling. Aislinn sighed in relief.

"You believe me then?" Aislinn whispered.

"Of course I do. Why wouldn't I?" Vivian gathered her up into an embrace and held her tight. "You are my friend! You have seen the ghosts that live in my home. Why would your demon be any different?"

Aislinn laughed. Ever since she had met Vivian at school, she had been raving about ghosts living amongst her family. The first time she had arrived at her home it was obvious that it was different than a normal house. Her family had been kind and welcoming to their supper table, but so had the three ghosts that had dined with them...in a matter of speaking. Fulbert, Mathew and Conner had been nice enough, but the fact that she was comfortable with them even as they had gaped at her should have been a warning sign for her.

"Not to mention you blushed whenever you mentioned this Kitai and no man in yer imagination has ever done that before!" Aislinn chuckled and held her friend close.

"Thank you, Viv." Vivian slowly pulled away. Aislinn smiled with a light heart and looked at her friend, glad that she wasn't completely insane.

"What will ya do now, Aislinn?" Vivian asked softly.

"I don't know." Aislinn confessed. "I will go to the records and see if I can find out anything about myself. I highly doubt there will be anything on Kitai, but perhaps there will be something about why I was reincarnated." She looked out over the water to see the mainland looming in the distance. "I don't know where else to start." Suddenly Vivian grabbed her hand and gave it a firm squeeze.

"Lets just get through today." She smiled warmly. "I will help how I can."

Aislinn gazed into Vivian's eyes and felt that her friend didn't fully believe her story. She wasn't sure what the brunette didn't believe but she couldn't blame her. She grinned back in return and gripped her hand. Perhaps the sight of Kitai sometime would change her mind, but she would be happy until then.

"Thanks, Viv."

Kiyoshi looked at his brother went down the mountain, a small smile crept over his features as he shot up into the slightly lighted mourning. The sky still brimmed with stars, and one of them seemed to like shooting straight up or down rather then across the sky. The aura that engulfed him grew brilliantly, enough light up the mourning sky slightly for but a few minutes. He felt happy for him brother so wanted to display something special...and he was getting sick of just placing new stars...so decided to finish up a bit early. He built up enough energy and in a way...let himself explode....unleashing what seemed like millions of stars across the sky. It was a once in a lifetime event.

Kitai was watching the sky when he had done so and merely grinned, his brother could be a fool at times...but his intentions were always good. If there was two people he would never betray it was Aislinn and of course his twin brother. How one was born angel and the other demon..no one ever really knew...then again maybe it just comes with have a demon for a father and a holy figure for a mother. He wondered if maybe he should add a bit of spice to his brothers display. A show off for a show off? The thought sounded like a great idea, also he'd be able to focus slightly more at his job at hand. Aislinn was sticking to his mind like a giant fan irls sticking to whatever it was they were fawning over. A flame sprouted to life in his hand lightly. He rolled it around his fingertips before clutching it into his hand to make it disperse.

If Kiyoshi wanted to put on a show, he might as well to...he did in fact feel overjoyed but his need for expressions had died some time long ago. When one's able to open up to someone, then become betrayed...alot of things die...but not everything. He let his body become engulfed in flames, before shooting up into the sky after Kiyoshi's display. The form of a dragon took shape in his fire and it seemed to dance in teh sky a moment, around almost everything. It was playing with the sky itself, before erupting..the only thing was...he let it rocket towards the ferry Aislinn and Vivian were on. It seemed in a way to rocket straight towards them but it shot up...and exploded into a giant firecracker that took the form of a blooming flower.

Kitai had teleported himself to the mainland close by, as to not be seen when the fire had dismissed from its display. He watched the slightly glowing embers rain down lightly over the water. It made him smile, he turned however and walked away, to someone where he could be alone for awhile. He had a friend at an inn here, he was told he was always welcomed to stay for as long as he needed. Kitai was going to be staying awhile to.

He loved the place really, it was an ancient building with many up to date repair apparently. But it had a feeling of old age. Nicor had once told him 'A building doesn't have to be rebuilt countless times as long as its taken care of..' Kitai smiled as the words and voice of his friend echoed into his mind. Maybe as long as he didn't realize that Kiyoshi and himself had done such a display he wouldn't feel the need to contribute. For you see, the inn Kitai loved so much was well in fact owned and maintained by none other then a fellow demon. One as old as time that held true to his name as well.

Nicor Leviathan Vepar...

A water demon that was known for drowning humans at sea by using forceful hurricanes and tempests of the like. A greatly strong sea dragon...the crooked serpent of the abyss...Plus he was a Grand duke...a guide of the seas. Like a mermaid almost. Like most demons though, they never used their demonic names in public...everyone had a different name. Like his was Kitai's...Nicors was Alan.

Kitai approached the upcoming inn...it doubled as a bar of course. THe name always made him laugh...Sea Dragon Inn Any one with half a brain of the demonic society would get the meaning...it was owned of course by a water demon. He opened the door "Hey Alan!" He shouted lightly, no one was here, or they were all asleep. At night a lot of demons drank heavily here. Some were passed out on stools. He shook his head and pushed one of them out of one of the stools that sat at the bar. About that time a giant mess of sea colored hair poked out from under the counter.

"Oi! If it ain't Kitai...Haven't seen you around the place in years..so! to what might I owe the pleasure? Alan spoke with a heavy Irish accent, to kitai..he had been living here to long. "You told me once before..Im welcome here anytime..and I need a place to stay.." He said simply. Alan just smiled at him. "But of course! You know you don't have to remind me twice...just happy to know you at least give me back the key to your room before you go an disappear.." He said pulling it out of his pocket and tossing it at him. Kitai caught it lightly and looked at the strangely formed key. It was a special key just for him, Alan was nice enough to just keep him a room off by itself upstairs. No one else was ever loaned the room except him. In fact teh room in a way was made just for him.

"Also..if you wouldn't mind..if you have a chance later..I'd like to talk to you about a certain matter at hand." Alan had to think a moment before realizing exactly what it was he was talking about. "Ahh..I got'cha..I should be free this afternoon...Ill come and knock on your door as I do every mourning when your here.." Kitai smiled, Alan was a great friend to have. He could find out anything you needed to know in a matter of minutes. Owning a bar did have some advantages. Kitai nodded, twisting the key about in his hands he tossed it up and caught it with ease.

"Alright..Im going to go lay down for a bit...it the sun gets to high...please...wake me up..I don't want to sleep long.." He said to him with a light smile. Alan knodded slightly before placing his hands together lightly, "But first! Might you be tempted by a bite to eat...you look like you haven't eaten for a week. go sit down...and Ill bring you something good!" Kitai in a way wanted to laugh, this strong grand duke of the seas had a personality that fit a five year old. He didn't complain though and just continued to sit where he was. Alan had ran back into his kitchen to whip up something hot. He waited, he did feel his stomach grumble at the mention of food. Sometimes he'd get so lost in his thoughts that eating never seemed to come to mind. He never could tell how hungry he was until someone would mention some sort of dish.

His mind began to escape him, but Alan ran back with a giant plate of a 'happy breakfast' He just loaded it up with some eggs...bacon sausage the works. Alan did love to cook and always knew the right portion to give someone. Could he really eat all this?...It was questionable but he just smiled up at him, "Thanks..looks...great." He said to him before picking up a fork and just started to show down. It was better then he thought and he ended up eating two plates of it. Alan smiled at him, "See I told you that you was ackin for some bacon...no go rest up and ill wake yah up in a hour or so." He said to him.

Kitai nodded, having a full stomach..he was now greatly tired. Maybe he wouldn't hear him knocking and sleep for a couple days. No....he couldn't do that..there was work to do. But a full stomach made a demon happy so he went up to his room and retired for awhile.

Alan though could be heard singing a heartbreaking tune down below. His father was in fact a demon..but his mother had been a siren. His love for the ocean and music came from her. It didn't help that he had some good looks. A sea blue hair color and gold eyes, tall and strong. Yummy. In a way he sang to himself but he also sang outloud a song his mother sang the day a troop of demons had come adn taken him away.

"Darkness child hear my plea...someday you shall return to me...but until that day returns that you were born...ill keep you in my heart forever more. Upon the waking hours of the day...the sea that rocks your fears away...will guide you threw a million wrecks...to find your final resting place..."

To Aislinn's gratitude, the world fell silent, still. The only sounds that reached her mind was the gentle beating of the cold Scottish water against the side of the ferry boat and the soft whistle of the comforting breeze that tousled her hair while coating her face with a cool mist. It was then that Aislinn realized that she was not taring at the approaching landscape as she normally did on her morning journey to the mainland, admi8ring the tranquil scenery. She was instead watching the light dance off the crimson gem set into Kitai's ring as she twirled it around her finger idly. It shouldn't have surprised her that the exquisite circle of gold only fit on her left ring finger, but she didn't read too much into that fact. She had a feeling that she hadn't in her previous lives. A strange sense of remembrance washed over her while she examined the gem's surface, as if she had done so many times before while letting her mind wander over the eternities.

Like she did now.

She couldn't remember. They had only been on the ferry for only fifteen minutes, but she had spent that time stimulating her brain in any conceivable way in order to spark the return of hter memories. The only thing she had sparked unfortunately was a migraine and a goodly amount 9of frustration. Aislinn removed the ring from her finger then the necklace to thread the go0ld chain through the ring's hollow center and wrap the chain around her neck once again. With a twinge of regret, she shoved the amulet-ring pendant into her blouse so that only the links of the chain were visible. Better to be safe than sorry. No telling what danger lurked in the darkness when one was keeping company with a demon.

"Oh, by the Saints!" Aislinn gasped in awe as Kiyoshi's spectacle became visible in the twilight sky. The explosion of stars sent a shimmer of silver light dancing across the rippling waters and she felt a big grin spread across her lips. "Viv, look!"

Aislinn didn't look away from Kiyoshi's magnificent display to see if Vivian was looking, but she had a feeling that her mouth was hanging open much like hers was. She abandoned all hope of retrieving her jaw from the ferry deck as Kitai's flame shot into the sky. As the dragon of fire shot towards them, Vivian would hit the deck with a weak shout, but Aislinn found herself quite anchored to the deck. She giggled as the dragon dodged up at the last second to burst into thousands of twinkling fire embers that resembled a beautiful flower as they returned to earth around her. Vivian was cursing whole-heartedly beside her and Aislinn could only smile up at the brightening sky.

She had just seen a miracle.

Perhaps today would be a good day after all.

When the ferry docked at the mainland, Aislinn paid the kind old farrier and rolled her bike off of the boat with Vivian tagging along behind. The curses would slowly die from her brunette friend as they arrived in the ferry parking area. Flipping her leg over her bike with a practiced ease, Aislinn would chuckle to herself as she pulled down her helmet over her head then kicked her ride into life. Her bike carried her swiftly down the road while it wound around the rocky cliffs and rolling hills. A strange inn caught her attention as she passed and she barely caught the name, making a mental note to visit it sometime.

Sea Dragon Inn.

Aislinn found herself staring into the darkness behind her eyelids, struggling to keep her mind on the objective. It was actually quite strange that she found herself passing her time in such a way, but she couldn't help it she supposed.

The day had taken an odd turn. She had arrived with Vivian at her self-defense class without incident to see a ominous poster on the door of the small studio. CLASS CANCELED. It should have been a sign, but she had dismissed it as a weird quirk without a second thought. Vivian had helped her for the few hours in the Hall of Records at the university but they found only a small book that might hold some answers. She had checked it out for later study, attended her Modern Herbology class and her Scottish Mythology and Theology then was greeted with another CLASS CANCELED sign on her Modern Medicine classroom.

Those strange turn of events lead her to her current predicament. She had showed a moment of weakness and here she stood, focusing on something that she could not see. There could be worse things in life. Suddenly a firm, harsh smack erupted on her rearend and Aislinn grunted at the pain. Her eyes shot open and she got another healthy smack on the rear.

She looked down irritably at a shriveled old woman that stood before her. The woman's beady eyes bore into her with the intensity of a spear and she hit her once again with a large wooden spatula that rested in her hand.

"What is that for?" Aislinn growled down at the ancient looking woman.

"You are not focusing!" The woman whined in a scratchy voice, shaking her spatula fiercely. "A witch must be able to emanate her power around her. FOCUS!"

"But Grandmother Willow-"

Aislinn went to protest but found her rump hit once again. She no doubt had very oddly shaped bruises now but hoped that she would no have to explain them. She bit her tongue top hold back another round of foul words she wished she could share with the woman before her. Closing her eyes, she surrendered herself to pressing her energy out from her to create a shield like aura around her.

Kitai slept heavily on his bed, the whole gothic interior of the room suited his personality somewhat. Then again maybe it did not it was cluttered with things of an older age. Some possibly dating back to the early 1300s. He laid on his bed, over the thick dark marooned colored sheets that had been there for just a short time it seemed. Something Alan must of added he guessed. He always was putting stuff in here but it wasn't like he cared any. As long as his bed was never taken away he'd be good, that was all he ever came here for was some rest. However who knew how long that would really last. AS he slept Alan was down below cleaning and serving a few people that had come in for lunch.

Of course who else would be amongst the small crowd then Kokabiel Duma Barrattiel..

Otherwise Kitai's one and only brother Kiyoshi. Each had their own last name..Kitai after their father and Kiyoshi after their mother. Like most demons..angels also had a different name that they would go by, most of them for other wordly matters. For Kiyoshi...his name was just something Kitai had always called him adn the name stuck with him like glue. Unlike Kitai who was a king of fire..Kiyoshi was but a small prince to the stars. "Hey Alan! Did Kitai come by here sometime today?" He asked him ruffling up his light brown hair. When his body was more in a human state its unnatural color showed and his was a bright brown color of hazelnut. He smiled greatly at him his blue eyes sparkling in the present sunlight.

Alan just smiled at him "Aye...he's here! I was about to go kick his carcass off his bed...you know to get him up an goin..but seein as how yer here...would you mind savin me the trouble?" Alan asked him wiping out a glass, and setting it on the counter. Kiyoshi just smiled. "Not at all...besides you have customers waiting...best not to make them wait to long...or..yea..." He said heading upstairs. Being at a place with a bunch of demons wasn't a great idea for Kiyoshi, sure humans went there to..but in a crowded place of some of the underworlds most powerful demons around. An angel was easy pickings....even if he was the brother of one of hells finest. Kiyoshi ran up the stairs to Kitai's room and knocked on it a moment.

Hearing no sort of grunt for a reply he knocked again, Kitai had always told him and Alan they were always free to barge in but both of them found it rude and never really did. So Kitai usually ended up sleeping in....and whatever he was doing that made him so busy he was late for and that usually raised hell for Alan or Kiyoshi..or both. Sighing he decided to just push the door in gently. "..Kitai?" Kiyoshi called his brothers name lightly as to not spook him into attacking him. Then again they were one in the same, and if anything he could just be put in a furious headlock.

He pushed the door open a bit wider now and stood fully in the door frame. Much like Kitais black jacket that hung down to his knees Kitai wore a similar one except it was white with a baby blue threading. He smiled at his brothers sleeping figure and tiptoed over near him. "..hmm..wha.." Kitai grumbled as he rolled over, he gripped his pillow tightly and hugged it quite snug in his arms. The only thing that seemed to stick out on Kitais bed was the white of his hair. It almost looked like a pillow itself if it was for the fact it was everywhere. Kiyoshi giggled, "..Kitai..!! Time To Get Up!" He shouted at him lightly and shook his lightly.

Kitai just waved his hand off at him, poor guy must of been awake for days, then again he was never one to like getting up when he was sleeping. Kiyoshi sighed and tried again, Kitai didn't move that time. Giving up all hope Kiyoshi just left Kitai's room and closed the door back, a single feather fell out from under his jacket and stayed neatly on the ground. He walked back downstairs and sat down at the bar. Alan just smiled at him.

"So tell me..did the man get up off his rump or is he still in there sleeping his day away?" ALan asked him getting him a giant cup of apple juice. He knew it was Kiyoshi's favorite...then again so was about any kind of juice but he seemed to favor that kind better. "No..he's still asleep....let's let him sleep just a bit longer." Kiyoshi said lightly beaming a smile at him, he had something to do else where anyway. He picked up the cup and drank it lightly. Someone at the corner of the bar was kinda staring at him. Alan noticed it but didn't say anything.

It either meant one of two things, they were looking for him...they wanted to get back at Kitai so were going to try to abduct Kiyoshi to use him to provoke Kitai...or they were just so low life demon that knew something about Kiyoshi no one at that bar should. The fact that he's an angel. An open minded fool at that, sure all of Kiyoshi's intentions were good but the outcome wasn't always great. That was something Kitai would deny liking about his brother...the fact that no matter what situation he was put it..he always wanted to come out with the the best approach possible...even if it meant endangering himself.

Alan wasn't one for ruffians in his bar though, everyone there knew...it was his way or the highway. He watched this figure from the corner of his good eye and frowned somewhat. Kiyoshi saw this but thought it best not to ask instead he decided to take a look for himself, He saw teh person that had been staring at him quickly look away. He found it strange but sipped at his juice once more before giving Alan a reassuring smile that he'd be fine. Alan just shrugged and kept his eyes peeled.
