Fizban's a psycho! He nearly incinerated the Heroes of the Lance! (I know he's Paladine and is worthy of respect and stuff, but when Tanis and Caramon went about with all that bowing and worshipping, he called them hippocrites). Anyway, He's half-senile (God or not) and is a danger to himself and those around him. I think that he should be put into a home for his own safety (remember the Fireball?)

The REason he called Tanis and Caramon hippocrates is due to the fact they said mean things about Fizban behind his back, but when they learned his true identity they started kissing his a**. The senility is just an act on Paladine's part as you can tell from his speech where he reveals exactly why they were fighting and why he chose them.
The whole end thing with "My Hat" and "Fizban! It's on your head...." was basically to establish him for the Kender people...who in fact began to revere "Fizban the Fabulous" as a diety (according to Margaret Weis). And the pyromania is just a funny character thing^_^ Fireball truly is a wonderful spell.

I agree. Fizban is such a great character that Weis & Hickman have used characters just like him in their other series.

I think I shall start calling Paladine Fizban the Fabulous from now on. It sounds so much better than E'li or Dracos Paladin.

No she wouldn't...in fact she tells Tas that she knows that him and Paladine are close friends. Its at the end of Legends when they're saying their goodbyes.

Perhaps...but if she can reprimand Tas for blasphemy because he made a comment about Tarbean tea, she can certainly make something out of calling Paladine Fizban the Fabulous. Perhaps she was just being nice to avoid hurting Tas' feelings and risk bringing the wrath of Fizban the Fabulous down on her head. She doesn't strike me as the type that would enjoy referring to her god so flamboyantly.

Dalamar Nightson Unfortunately, she probably wouldn't strike you at all. lol... Point for Dalamar! Also you have to remember the Tarbean Tea scolding came from teh BEGINING of the series when Crysiana was still "holier than thou" when dealing with... anyone. and the Fisban/Paladine comment was at the END of the series. There was ALOT of character development for her between the two events. I loved watching Fizban slip in and out of his two personalities. Because of that he was so danged hard to predict!

Fizban friggin reminded me of myself until u find out hes a god...cuz i have a short term memory...but not THAT short...and i dont usually talk to trees...hmm...now where's my hat!? NOOOO!!! MY HAT!!!
