Lyon put his right hand into a pouch on his tool belt and gripped his hammer. He had made it so the handle came apart and turned into a dagger. He looked at Kaltar and closed the pocket before speaking."Whatever she is here for, it doesn't concern us. There is no possible way she is here to snoop us out, if she was she would be wearing different clothes and wouldn't be sitting with the common folk, she would be at the bar speaking with Issac who is more open about his knighthood."Lyon finished his mead and stood up and put the tankard in a large tub of water and sat back down.

She let out a very long sigh. Once again, she was being spotted. Perhaps stopping here had not been the best idea, but it couldn't be helped that her horse needed a rest and she was in need of a meal. So she grabbed the sleeve of someone who appeared to be staff as they'd been hustling between tables so she could order something to eat and be on her way once more.

Thankfully, no one seemed to exactly put two and two together of who she was exactly, even at the puzzled expression from the server who brought over her meal. Who would have thought that the King's adviser was out among the common-folk.

Oh Lord and Lady, she would need to work at her disguise better next time.

Watching her hesitant moves towards grabbing a servant of the inn and trying to make herself less noticeable, only making herself even more of an opportune target for scrutiny. Watching every movement, Kaltar could percieve a few small articles, but nothing too threatening. She was only here to gather information, for her movements proved that by her current demeanor. She was trying to ask questions without them, and see reactions. Unfortunately, she would not get them... Moving his gaze back towards Lyon,

She knows she is being watched, not necessarily a bad thing, she will slip up, she is already nervous. Also, I can only see very slight things towards armor and weapons, so she is here for recon. For and of what, Im not so sure. So, lets continue to watch, maybe she can lead us to what it may be. Also, she looks a tad familiar, a face that I have known from a past life...

Looking back towards the woman, he continued to watch her every breath, looking for a hint of who she may be, and why she may be here.

((Chris I edited in Cerberus, go ahead and post.))
Lyon was an assassin and knew his perceptions were only base. He could tell there was less to it then they had first thought. Lyon stood and walked outside, the horse would reveal everything about their new visitor. He made his way to the town stable and saw that she had been careless enough to leave the horses sattle on. This meant two things, she wasn't planning to stay long, and the ornate decoration could only mean that she worked with the king on more personal terms. Lyon smiled at the stable boy and took out a small pendant shaped in the form of a howling wolf. It was his calling card and he had never given it back to the king so he slipped it into a pouch of scrolls as sort of a stay out of my way message and then walked back to his house. He wasn't about to stay at the scene very long.

[-I love how you jump to the worse conclusion with her. X-D Makes me LAWL so hard because it's so off!-]

She finished her meal and made her exit out of the establishment. Hopefully there had been enough of a wait for her animal to have rested. She wasn't exactly comfortable being stared at for the remainder of her meal. Was she suppose to do some sort of trick or suddenly set the place on fire just because she wasn't a townfolk? People these days...

The stable boy was quick to get her horse.
"You should have let me unsaddle her to give her a proper rub down." "Understandable, but not with the haste I am in," she said with a condescending tone that spoke of just how far her knowledge did stretch. She wasn't some ditzy lady like most at court.

She checked her saddlebags and noted that something was amiss, the flap was caught at the corner.
"Did you loot through my belongings," she asked with a magnitude of suspicion. "No, your lady, but Lyon came by," his words trailed off as her scowl grew deeper. "Description, if you please."

The boy chattered away, giving the description of one of the fellows at the bar that had entered in a few moments after herself and was later accompanied by another man. The kingdom had enough troubles with bandits and raiders. She was not pleased at the prospect of there being a well-known thief in this village.

So she went to the task of checking all of her belongings that were in the bags. At the very bottom of her scroll pouch, she found something she had not brought with her. She ran a thumb over the metal. So he was here, hmmm?

She smiled pleasantly to herself and flipped a large gold coin to the boy.
"Thank you for your services. I'd be careful next time with who you let stroll leisurely into your stables. Not everyone is whom they appear to be."

She mounted the chestnut mare and led her out of the village in thought.

((He is an assassin but don't worry about it I changed it in your post.))
Lyon went inside his house and opened up the board next to his bed and looked through the book and he found his answer."Ah, I see, that is the kings advisor, well then I think she gets the point. Should she reveal my secret I may have to pay her a visit."Lyon knew she would have known his real name and the description the stable boy gave her would immediatly give him away. How ever it was doubtful that the king would do anything about it. He had served for many years and was allowed to retire any time he wished.

[-It was suppose to be thief because she thought he WAS a thief, so you changed it for the wrong reason. It was when she pulled out the wolfhead that she knew who he was.-]

Coming out of the inn after finishing his third pint, Kaltar noted that the woman was leaving, and steered her way. He watched her leave and could not place where he had seen her before, but he knew who she was, and she probably knew him.. Sadly, in his semi incapacitated state, he would drift home and polish his blades. They were all that was left in his life now...

Lyon prefered not to drink away his past, it wasn't the way of assassins. He did not regret his past as many did their own, on the contrary he rather liked it. It was a chance to learn and a chance to see how far down a person could go and come back alive on the other side. Legult was a name of the past, a name he would hide above all else for it was a name of fear and a name of sorrow. He was Lyon now, a simple carpenter that had an obsession with watching people.

Sobering up at home, Kaltar walked over to his small desk, and lit the lantern sitting upon it, sending a dim light over the area. Opening the locked drawer with the key around his neck, Kaltar pulled a chair close to the desk. He sat down and grabbed two small leather wrapped folders, The journals of his daughters, He scrolled through them taking in every moment and memory he had of them. Kaltar would wish anything to have them back again. That and his dear wife. He pulled a portrait out of the drawer as well, which was a small painting that had all of them together, wearing nobles garb, which is what they were. Almost royalty actually, seeing as they were the family of the Captain of the Guard, closest to the king. Looking over the portrait, Kaltar ran his fingers over the faces of his wife and daughters, small tears forming around the corners of his eyes.

I miss you sweetheart, anything to have you back in my arms... Im so sorry...

Knowing that he could no longer hide from his past, he took the painting and put it up above his fireplace. Putting the folders back into the desk, he locked it once more, and lit a fire in the pit. Taking his large armchair, he set down in front of the fireplace and continued to gaze off once more into the painting, drifting in the mind.

As the night passed Lyon slept soundly while Kaltar would be dreaming horrible things in his sleep which was highly ironic. Lyon awoke that morning and grabbed his tools for work. He went outside and began to construct a rocking horse for a young child for his birthday. Later that day he would also have to fix Mr. Constantine's roof that had supposedly been destroyed by a wizard, it was the third time in a row and Lyon doubted the first time that it was the case but money was money.

Rolling out of bed after a dreadful night of half sleep, Kaltar opened his smithy and moved around to continue his work on blades that would sell rather quickly by passing traders, and artisans in the craft of weapons. His items were of the highest quality, because of the passion he put into every one of them. Looking out across the square, Kaltar looked at Lyons shop, and remembered that he had to run and deliver the new set of hammers and nails that Lyon had ordered. Grabbing the boxes, he walked smoothly over to the carpenters shop, walking up to Lyon, he put down the boxes on the desk and looked at him.

Good morning, sir Lyon. Here is your order of nails and the new set of hammers. Oh yes, I sharpened your saws as well, they looked a tad dull.

Lowering his voice, he moved in a little closer to Lyon

Any word on our little unexpected visitor?

Lyon took the tools and gave him a tool chest that he had asked for a week before. He kept his voice low and spoke while putting definition into the rocking horse with a chisel."She was the king's adviser, I had worked with her a few times but nothing major. I also gave her a... Trinket that will make sure she doesn't come back and tell everyone that we work for the king."Lyon began to hammer in the nails Kaltar had given him and then looked at Kaltar.

Returning Lyons gaze, Kaltar frowned. This would not be good if they found out he was here..

I cant be found here, I will be captured and quarted for sure... They do not put up with a an accusation of assassination very well. Even if it is falsely embued...

Looking around, he could not believe that his world was coming down again. He would have to flee once more. Gripping the key around his neck he continued to frown
