One of my favorite movie-musicals is the wonderful, transvestite staring, 'Rocky Horror Picture Show.' Tim Curry does so well in the role, I can just hear his "O Rocky!" in my head. And once you've seen it, you just can't stop dancing the time warp! (over exadurating) Just ask Reesu. I also really like 'The meaning of Life." I really want that DVD, and it's cheep. Every sperm IS sacred!

Reesu La Les Miserable (though the movie version had no singing) and Chicago are a couple notables. wink Holy crap! I absolutley love Les Miserable! It's such a good musical! (Our highschool did a rendition of it this past year and even made a soundtrack with their voices on it to sell 3nodding ) Honestly...I cried the first time I saw it...It's a shame they cut my favorite character from the movie though. sweatdrop

Trissana Hika Lai Which brings me to another topic. Broadway musicals gone movies. I'm kind of slow on this one - is Grease the only one that ever made this leap? No......i know of quite a few. Little Shop of Horrors The Wiz Phantom of the Opera The King and I Sound of Music Oklahoma Carosel Music Man West Side Story want to know of more? I recognize quite a few of those names. I've seen Little Shop of Horrors too many times late at night on television. Also, I didn't realize West Side Story was made into a movie.

There's one movie (or rather movie series) that I am probably a total guru of (if you know me, you know what I'm talking about) Star Wars. The originals (4-6) are my favorites, but the prequels (1-3, even though 3 doesn't come out until May) are still good movies. As my best friends know, I could rant on for a VERY long time about it. sweatdrop

I'm looking forward to White Noise and Darkness, if my theater gets them. If not, it looks like Denny will be waiting for her release date... again.
