"Psh." Kana scoffed at the question, moving forward. In two strides and a jump, she was up the nearest tree. "I got plenty of time, this'll be fun!" she grinned at Kalei.

Kalei let out a laugh, she was really excited that someone wanted to help her with the search of her brother. " Thank You " she said which she was really really appreciative. She slid on her clothes and turned back to Katie, " I got to gather somethings at my house, do you want to come or do you need to get some stuff too" she asked

"I'm going to get some gear from my place" Kana answered. "I'll meet you by the landmark, okay?" The landmark was the stonehenge about 400 meters away from the bay. Rather than forming a circle, however, it was shaped like a giant cresent moon.

"Alright, be back in an hour" she said. She picked up her bag and headed for her house. It took her all of fifteen minutes to get there and packed.

Kana nodded and ran off. 'Going back home' was, of course, a lie. There were a few things she had to take care of. Once Kalei had gone out of sight, Kana walked back to the bay and looked out into the water at her own reflection. "Okay, you're always quiet, but whenever I take over you fight kicking and screaming the whole way. What's wrong?"Kana's reflection seemed to take on a smug expression, while Katie's voice echoed, "What's this, actually worried about me? The same person who ran me away from home?"
Kana scowled. "You were the one afraid of what your 'illness' might do if you stayed." she pointed out."True" Katie's side took a more thoughtful expression. "There was another person there, and you were nice enough to offer help to her....I thought I'd give you a little freedom...."
At the word 'freedom', Kana's head snapped up, and started sprinting back to the landmark. "Thank you Katie, I'll find that brother in no time!!" she shouted out, too happy to care if anyone heard. Inside their subconscious, Katie shook her head, hoping she hadn't done something she'd regret.

After Kalei gathered all her things, and changed she figured that it was time to go back. after the short walk back she spotted Kana. " I am back" she said running over. " Before we search for my brother you should probably know what he looks like, this is him... My brother . His name is Noah." she said.

By this time, Kana had calmed down a bit. "Wow, he's cute" she admitted, looking at the picture. "All right. Where should we start?"

Kalei smiled at her comment. " I think that the Pub should be the best place to look for him" she said.

"Ha, sounds fair. Let's roll!" Kana replied enthusiastically, pulling Kalei's arm gently while running towards town.

Kalei looked down at her feet and watched the ground go by as she walked. " Kana How long do you thik it will take to get therea" she asked.

Kana tried to see through the trees to the town ahead. "About thirty minutes if we hustle" she replied. "Why's he missing, anyway?"

Kalei raised her hand over her eyes to see the town. She smiled, "My brother went to look for the killer of my parents. He left me behind because he said I was to young. I want to be with him, he is the only thing I have left"She said.

Kana stopped abrubtly, almost skidding to do so. "Ouch, I'm sorry. How long ago did this happen?" she asked, a funny look in her eyes.
Kana, no! I remember keeping an eye on you, there's no way.... Katie's quiet voice cut through Kana's subconsious, sounding both upset and terrified.
No way what? During the first few years, you tried not sleeping and were passed out half the time you were in control. I highly doubt it, but would like to make sure, okay? Kana replied mentally with a strangely calm demeanor. Usually, the two could see each other while conversing, but Kana deliberately faced away.
Okay... Katie's voice answered, still sounding worried.

Kalei looked over at Kana, " They died when I was six years old, so about thirteen years ago" said slowly. A tear escaped and ran down her face, " It doesn't feel like it has been that long though" she whispered. She stood there silent for a moment and then looked back at Kana, " But, there is nothing for you to sorry about though, it's not like you had anything to do with it" she said with a reasuring smile.

Kana laughed nervously, sounding choked. "R-right."Katie's voice came through again, Kana! That WASN'T you, right??
I don't know! The timeline fits, but I can't remember everything about my life!!
Ugh, this is just great....
Kana was spared the rest of the mental conversation when the pub came into view. "Here we are!" She said, half-dragging Kalei inside.
