Chris smirked, "Yeah, well, that's too bad for you, 'cause not even Scilia can cure colds yet, you'll have to go to Reallis for the potion. I won't be surprised if I see your ears smoking later in class. By the way, we have Potions today and History of Magic, so too bad for us, right?"
Scilia was highly indignant. "Yes, well, the professors don't really seem to want to teach us how to do so, and none of the books that I've read have anything about curing colds! And Potions and History of Magic are highly important if you want to be known as a witch, Chris!"
Lace said impatiently, "Yes, that's great and everything, Scilia, but I'm starving so can we please go eat something?" She faced Damien. " I don't think either of the professors would be glad to see your ears smoking on the first day back to school," she said shrewdly, annoyed that she was not stuffing food down her mouth by now.

"Yeah, well," Damien sighed, closing the subject. He pulled his wand from his jeans pocket, which had been poking out the whole time. He gingerly tossed his broom about a foot away before slashing his wand violently in the air with a sharp flick of his wrist. His broom disappeared, and he could hear a light 'klunk' upstairs. "If you're so hungry, let's go now!" he said, sounding cheery as he turned around, pulling his school robe on, which had draped itself over his shoulders out of almost nowhere.

"Hey," James said, smiling. Leya looked like she was still trying to decide if he was really talking to Melissa or not. "Hello," she said curty. He frowned, then rolled his eyes. "She came up to me and just started talking about something random. I have no idea what though." That seemed to work. She smiled. "Ready to go?" she asked. He nodded, and they headed toward the potrat hole. Damien and Chris and her friends stood nearby. "Hey, Chris!" Leya said, waving and walked toward them instead. James shrugged and followed. "Went out for early morning practice, Damien?" he guess as he saw the broomstick and the wet puddles from the portat hole leading to him.

"Yeah, the charms are really complex on the pitch now," Damien said, fixing the cuffs of his robes.

((I made a Potions teacher, but you haven't accepted it.))
Lace finally dragged her friends out of the portrait hole, abandoning Damien, who had stopped to answer back to talk to Leya and James. Chris managed a, "Hey, Ley-!" before the portrait snappe back to place, blocking.
