GreatBuddha - Slytherin
Kaoru reached down and ruffled Joy's hair. "I wasnt yelling at you, but Id rather not deal with the Death Eaters again. Even if they do favor us Slytherin students, Im none to fond of them." He sat down next to Joy with his back up against the fence and sat there idly staring up at the sky again. He saw the same hawk from before, floating gracefully. He knew Joy was a bit of a crazy one, always sprouting off randomly about things, and other areas of thought. Like on the train, they had barely met each other for five minutes when she practically spilled her entire life story to him in under 30 seconds. It was entirely maddening, but he couldnt just tell her to leave him alone either. Aside from the fact that she was a rather talkative person, she was quite the decent fellow and a nice person to hang out with. She was also a great help with homework as well, whenever he got stuck on something, though her taunting nature about schoolwork got annoying sometimes. The way she tutted at him when he missed something or asked for her help. The two of them usually sat with the other First years at the House Table, with her doing most of the talking and him barely saying a word. he didnt like drawing attention to himself, and was quite the anti-social person when it came right down to it. Being a First Year, they were under everybody else in the school, and so he was rather submissive about things, not really caring enough to try and fight back. He had already had a near collision with Pansy Parkinson, that annoying twit, he wanted to punch her in the face, those were the people that gave Slytherin a bad name.

belleanomalie Aurora was a bit taken aback by the girl's comment about her name. She wasn't sure whether she was being sarcastic or not. Another thing she'd observed about the houses was that of all of them, Slytherin and Gryffindor had the most obvious rivalry. She'd gotten her fair share of snide comments from older Slytherins, but she didn't let it get to her. The muggle schools had their fair share of cliques as well, it would have been naive of her to assume the wizarding world was much different. She was a little shocked when the girl stepped forward and hugged her, but she was glad she didn't shove her off or ignore her completely like so many - Gryffindor and Slytherin alike - seemed to do to members of their rivaling houses. She sat down next to her and smiled when she introduced herself. She then turned to Kaoru, remembering a comment he had made, and asked, "What do you mean.. 'Muggle-born hunting squads?'" She added somewhat sarcastically, "What are they, some sort of glorified playground bullies or something?" She had heard the term "muggle-born" quite a bit in the short time she'd been here. She wondered before her arrival if she would be treated differently because of it, but she figured that sort of thing was common. - non-wizards producing wizard offspring, that is. Now that she thought about it further, she realized that an awful lot of students - Slytherins especially, though she had attributed that to the house rivalry issue - had avoided her completely. In fact, the only students she had talked to so far were muggle-borns as well. She knew because she had seen them with their bewildered parents shortly before they boarded the train. She never really made the connection at the time. belleanomalie Gryffindor Word count: 300
GreatBuddha- Slytherin Kaoru glanced at the Gryffindor girl and said rather suddenly "Those Death Eaters are supporters of the Dark Lord, they have it in for anyone of muggle parentage. In certain areas, theyre actually rounding them up and imprisoning them on charges of 'stealing wizarding abilities' or something like that." he glanced back to the direction they went and added "Most of them join the Dark Lord because they crave a sense of the power he has, others just like being playground bullies. None of them are really any good, and most have horrible reputations." He then shifted the way he was seated, trying to get more comfortable.

Aurora's eyes widened as Kaoru told her about the Death Eaters. She had never heard of them until now, though she had heard some mention of the "dark lord." All she knew was that he was very powerful and very evil - very, very evil. She had no idea why he did what he did. She suddenly wondered why she was even here - why had they let her in the school? Was it just so they could make her miserable because of something she had no control of? She was infuriated. Blood rushed to her cheeks and her eyes narrowed. She spurted out strongly, trying not to talk too loud, "Who the hell do they think they are? Parading around like they're so much better because of their blood! At least you can say one thing for muggles - they grew out of that ridiculous misconception years ago." She folded her arms tightly, trying to force her hands to stop trembling. She knew the rational thing to feel would have been fear, but she was just too angry. For some reason, she assumed the wizarding world would have been so much more.. enlightened.. than the muggle world. That they kept themselves hidden because muggles weren't mature enough as a society to accept or understand them. She had been proud of who she was. She always knew she was different from everyone else in her world. When she found out she had abilities beyond her imagination, she had been so happy , so eager to become a part of this world. She belonged here. What right did anyone have to tell her that she didn't?belleanomalie Gryffindor Word Count: 275

Stretching her two arms upwards she laughed a bit at the question that Aurora had asked, did she not honestly know what the muggle-born hunting squad was? That was actually not that shocking since a lot of the Gryffindors were muggle born. Did that make this girl a mud-blood? That was the word she had heard from the other Slytherin students. Leaning more on Kaoru she explained what a muggle born was to Aurora, she didn't mind telling her knowledge to others and it was better that she heard it from her then someone else that was rude. "Muggle-borns, well first of all a muggle is a normal human being, non magic humans that is. When two muggle borns have a child and by some reason they come out to be a child that can perform magic then we call them muggle born. Understand? It literally means born of non magic folks" she said as she looked around seeing if the Death Eaters were here, if they did come then they'd have to act very fast. Pouting a bit when she realized that Kaoru messed up her hair when he ruffled it, she tried to fix it. "Why can't you be like the other boys and just pinch my cheeks" she said as the others treated her like a baby. Taking off her hat that only covered half of her hair she put it back on, her hair was okay now. Joy was really peculiar, she really was someone random, not to mention what she was about to ask. "Do you have chocolate on you?" she asked Aurora smiling, it wasn't a good idea to give her anymore chocolate but she wanted some again. After seven bars of pure milk chocolate in a row she probably had her maximum sugar count of the day, but who would stop her from having anymore? No one! Her parents weren't here which was a great thing too, she could eat all the sugar that she wanted without getting into trouble. Though the stomach ache that happens afterwards wouldn't change of course. Smiling a bit she looked up at the sky "What are you looking at?" she asked as she was bored and wanted something to do, she did really get bored so easily she probably had ADHD. Hopefully her hyper sugar rush would calm down within a few more minutes, hours, days but hopefully not weeks.

Aurora listened to Joy's description and shot back at her, "I know what a muggle-born is." She then felt a little guilty for her misdirected anger and said softly "Sorry.." She relaxed her shoulders again and slumped back against the fence. Her eyes were still fierce with anger as she scanned the street. When Joy asked her if she had any chocolate, she shook her head silently, still staring out at the street, counting the number of the so-called "dark lord's" followers. belleanomalie Gryffindor Word Count: 82

GreatBuddha - Slytherin
"If you know what a muggle born is, then you know why theyre being persecuted by the pureblood's." Kaoru said nonchalantly it still didnt concern him so he wasnt worried about it. "Im pureblood, and my familys rather well know, and we have taken a neutral stance on this matter. Now isnt the time for rebellion, not with the Dark Lord ever so close and menacing," he said staring off into space. So far the hidden war hadnt spread into his own little world, but that might change one of these days. "Be careful who you associate with" he said "They just might turn you in, and never ever say the Dark Lords name. Ive been told its been jinxed, so they can tell exactly where it's being said. Better to stick under the radar, dont you agree?" he picked up a stick and idly poked around at the ground, before throwing it across the clearing into the woods. This trip and even there time at Hogwarts had a dark and forbidding attitude to it, like some menacing forced loomed right outside the windows. It was rather unnerving to think that way but he couldnt shake the feeling.

(sup guys im interfering) Character name:Fritzi McIntyre House: Slytherin Personality:A little strange. Coming off she seems polite and sweet but often enough her words are laced with venom. She is proud of her heritage but often doesn't drop it in as many conversations as her peers. She prides herself in confusing people, but is strangely popular. Perhaps it's her mysteriousness that draws people in?

"You're talking about the Dark Lord?" Said a voice from behind them, a soft Irish accent underneath. The stranger stared intently at Aurora's back, "I wouldn't think it was safe, for someone like you, I mean." The phrase itself seemed kind and gentle, like offering advice to a friend, however as she spoke, the corner of the young girl's mouth twitched mischievously.
The young girl who stood before them had long dark hair, and fair, lightly freckled skin with rosey cheeks. Her hair was nicely styled around her face, complete with side bangs which were pinned back with silver hairclips. She was wearing street clothes as many other students, a short skirt and a woolen jumper tied nicely across her waist. She was also clutching a small canvas bag which was tied up with a draw string. Her eyes were more mysterious, a deep coal which seemed to betray her youth. She smiled sweetly back to them. "Nothin' by it, of course." She said in a friendly tone, as if that made everything so much happier.

Aurora took in Kaoru's words, confused with his last bit of advice. She was sure the other girl was pureblood as well, and she suddenly wondered if either of them would turn her in. She figured they probably would. Why would they risk themselves for some muggle-born they didn't even know? She was still to angry to be afraid. "I see..." she said in reply to Kaoru. She realized her hands were clenched tightly into fists, and she relaxed them a little. Then, she heard a voice from behind her, and turned around. The words, "someone like you," stung a bit. It was difficult to read the girl's expression. She wasn't sure if it was a threat, or merely a statement of fact. When the girl spoke again, it was strangely sweet, and only confused her more. She turned back to face the street again and said, to no one in particular, "So.. are you going to turn me in, then?" Her eyes were distant and her voice was calm. She appeared to be in another place entirely. She was thinking, again, about why she was here. If she was so unwanted, why did they let her come?belleanomalie Gryffindor Word Count: 198

It was strange but even while Kaoru was moving the little Slytherin girl had fallen asleep against his shoulder, she didn't even move at all but her light exhales of sleep were heard ever so lightly. When she heard something about the dark lord and a familiar voice she yawned then opened her eyes. Joy Ann was used to sleeping once she got really bored with something, she honestly thought there was nothing better to do in the world other then learning which was right next to sleeping. "Dark Lord, Dark Lord, Dark Lord" the little girl chanted as she rubbed her dreary eyes with the sleeve of her coat. Her hair was a bit messy but still good enough to pass off. Standing up she looked at Fritzi, honestly that girl was the spitting image of what she thought Professor Snape's daughter would look like. Which just creeped her out in some ways, looked from Kaoru to Aurora "No need to feel threatened yet. A bluff from a follower is nothing to worry about" she said as she didn't like this girl, she had seen her before but now that she basically insulted though it may not have sounded like it. There was no forgiveness in Joy Ann's heart, not one little ounce towards the strangers she long fully hated. Joy’s base green eyes staring down at the other Slytherin girl, whether or not she was in her house didn't give one excuse at all why she should like her. Joy Ann hated anyone that tried to take Kaoru from her or just wanted to piss someone off that she had been talking to, it was a bit sadistic to wish harm on Fritzi with her own wand. But that wasn't like her, at least not yet

GreatBuddha - Slytherin
[Trizo, you forgot the whole House and name thing. >.<'']
Kaoru glanced down at the sleeping Joy and smirked, then his head turned as he saw yet another Slytherin show up. Seems places like this attracted alot of attention. He listened to what the new girl said and sighed. It was just this attitude that was what he was talking about. Regardless, he had long since stopped caring, and as such simply remained where he was when Joy woke up and started talking to the new girl as well. It seems her fiery temper wouldnt spare even other House members.

((oops lol)) Fritzi pursed her lips at the sudden, more intense remarks from those standing around her. Did these children dislike the Dark Lord? She wondered curiously. "Haha, I wouldn't be doin' anything like that. I haven't even met you lot yet, have I?" Her eyes sparkled mysteriously, it was important to be nice to her peers, after all. Even if they made her teeth on edge. It was true this gaggle of first years confused her, but any excuse to stir up some fun was worth it. "You all alright here though?" She said indicating towards the house they were standing out of, "I'm sure you've heard the rumours." Her smile changed once more, to a more mischievous grin. "I hear there's werewolves that live there. All in gatherin's and the sort." She watched for the reactions of the others, most people were terrified of werewolves, although she had only heard about them from others, it was always an interesting topic to start up.Trizo- Slytherin

Aurora's bright gray eyes lit up with curiosity at the sound of the word werewolves. For a moment, she forgot she was even angry. Being a first year muggle-born, she didn't know much about this world. She hadn't even considered all of the magical fairy tale creatures that might actually exist. Her mouth curled up into a sly grin, and she said to the strange girl, "Werewolves, eh?" She stared longingly at the dark house. The hairs on the back of her neck stood up as if she could sense an adventure coming. She turned to look at Kaoru and Joy Ann and looked at them as if to say, "Want to?" She turned back to look at the house. She had totally forgotten about the other girl in her excitement and scheming. She drummed her fingers impatiently against the fence.belleanomalie Gryffindor Word count: 141

The girl sat back down once she saw that the threat was over, her fiery temper always got the better of her when she didn't think about what she was going to say or do next. Sitting down with her back against Kaoru's shoulder she began to fall asleep half way through whatever Fritzi was saying, she had gotten bored with whatever she was saying. Honestly she didn't believe that werewolves lived there nor did she care since she was tired again. Yawning her eyes were closed and she was taking another light nap, there was no point in wasting her energy doing something dumb like listening to talk that seemed a bit illogical in her point of view. If there were werewolves there then the ministry would send them away for being so close to the school or the town, they weren't that dumb. If they all wanted to go then she would go, she'd probably just walk with her eyes close and her hand tightly gripping someone's clothes so she knew that she wouldn't trip while she was literally sleep walking. Joy was amazing how she was probably the one that would pass the grade with ease but the one that is asleep half of the time inside the classroom.[Word count: 212Reapers-doll; Slytherin]]
