«Adrien Black» xxxHere's the B A S I C S . . . » Name Adrien Black
» Age 20
» Gender Male
» Country Wisteria
» Class Healer
» Level Starter Tier
» Occupation Travelling Chemist
» Religion --- x x x xxxMy P H Y S I C A L outlooks . . . » Height 5'10"
» Hair color Reddish Blonde
» Eye color Violet
» Overall Appearance Adrien tends to blend into a crowd, even in his homeland where his eye color would typically cause him undue attention. Adrien's eyes were altered when he entered the service of Benu and they then became violet. He seems to be one of Benu's rather less serious priests using his abilities when the need arises but not being completely dedicated to his clerical duties. His ears have numerous piercings and his face is rather unwrinkled. His appearance would cause you to realize that he's a chemist before you realized that he was also a healer.
» Weapon Adrien typically carries around a number of Scrolls and Potions as well as his Trusty Iron rod that he rarely uses for more then a targeting aim when casting his spells. When he's cornered he may use the weapon to bash his enemies but he much prefers to toss inflammatory potions or render himself invisible until the threat passes. x x x xxxOn the I N S I D E I am . . . » Relationship status Single
» Personality Adrien's a rather laid back person and often people say that he has a relaxed moral compass. He works as an Chemist selling potions to the highest bidder and not asking questions about what they shall be used for. He tends to wander from town to town and he seems to be rather light hearted about almost anything.
» History Adrien was born in St. Daeis City and he was raised by his moderately wealthy parents. He had tutors and he eventually went to school to become a chemist. While attending his University he became intrigued by the clergy of the God Benu and after some hesitation he was welcomed into the flock. When it became known that on top of his Potion making skills he had the potential to become a healer he was trained by the Priests in the way of their deity.
Adrien finished his school and his religious training but part of him called for the open rode so he took some money, some clothes and a backpack and set off on foot to travel as far as he needed. That had been two years ago. He'd wandered across most of Wisteria and even ventured into a few of the neighboring countries. He tended to stop at a town, catch up on gossip, sell some potions, take some orders, make and sell his orders and then head off into the next town.
Luckily he'd been on the Wisterian side of the Border when they were closed and he'd been warned to stay away from that area for a while. Adrien wasn't the military type so he avoided the war zone like the plague and kept to the small backwater towns in case the royalty got it into their thick heads to start drafting. This profile is approved!

Simple & CleanThey say ;; Tarjei Waneau Lived for this long ;; 22 Between my legs ;; male My special place ;; Wisteria I can do this ;; Archer Getting better at it ;; Starter Tier Need for money ;; Pfft, work? Tarjei gets his pocket money from mommy and daddy. Have faith ;; --- Pretty or UglyReaching for the sky ;; 180 centimeters, 5 feet 11 inches Strands of color ;; Golden blonde Color of my soul ;; Blue with a hint of green My reflection ;; Placed upon Tarjei’s head is his golden blonde wavy hair. It’s half long with the longest strand reaching even past his shoulders. Right below his wild bangs his narrow blue green eyes are placed and between that there is a round nose. The lips that so often spill words sweet as honey are full and thick. Yet he manages to look rather masculine. Like a true handsome, beautiful man. His skin is rather pale, though not sickly, and in the summers it obtains a healthy tan color. The body that is covered by his flawless skin in rather tall and lean. Not that many muscles on his body. He has no real reason to have big muscles. But that doesn’t mean that he’s not in a very good shape.
Yes, Tarjei has always taken good care of his appearance. Never would you see him dirty or without having made his hair look even more perfect. This also applies to his clothing. It’s always as expensive as he can afford, preferably it would look even more expensive. How about how they actually look. Well, picture what’s currently in fashion, but a bit flashier… Tarjei isn’t afraid of colors, on the contrary he loves bold colors that give him attention. He’s also quite fond of shirts with vests or jackets to with intricate patters on, oh and some lace and embroidery… Ah no, maybe he doesn’t usually dress up that much, but he do have a very classy ”prince-y” look about him. Source of power ;; An expensive crossbow he got from his father, who had gotten it from his father and so on. Rather old but in a very good condition. Details in gold and there have been a few gems on it years ago.Soul and actionsStatus of my heart ;; Single and always looking for some fun with pretty girls and boys Is it all an act ;; This boy has grown up into a very proud man. Unfortunately in some ways a too proud man. Putting himself on a pedestal above the rest isn’t always the greatest thing to do. Nevertheless, that’s basically what Tarjei does. From his point of view he is much better than everyone else. He’s much better looking, he’s stronger and should get the most attention, because he is a lovely person. Something like that is the way Tarjei feels about himself. Admitting that someone is stronger than him is something he can do, and trust him to treat that person with respect. Admitting that someone might look better than him though, it probably won’t happen. After all, there have been millions of people swooning over his looks, so why shouldn’t he be the handsomest and most charming of them all?
Even though he is rather full of himself, Tarjei isn’t late to make fun of himself. Also, when he speak when anyone of his many fans he’s always very humoristic. The constant joking tone he has when speaking is what makes people forgive him for being so full of himself. He admits it openly and with a charming smile he can make many people agree that he is in fact a wonderful person. That charm he holds is what have made it so that not nearly enough of the people who should detest him doesn’t dislike him at all. Something this charming man is very happy about. How else would his quest to conquer all the beautiful people in the world work out? Yes, Tarjei is something of a Casanova, or a player if you prefer that word. That’s something he doesn’t even try to hide. Nor does he try to hide that very vain part of himself who easily fall in love with everything and everyone that is beautiful.
Besides all that, this young man’s pride have also led him to standing very strongly for his opinions. Tarjei is absolutely not afraid of voicing his opinions, on the contrary, he likes voicing his opinions. He also finds it very entertaining to start discussions with other people. Then he tries to see how easily he can change the opinion of the person he is discussing with. That’s one reason as to why he enjoys discussions. Teasing is fun, Tarjei has always enjoyed teasing people. Especially if the subject of his teasing was one of those people who get angry very easily. It’s always fun to provoke, yes? This might be part of a little manipulating part of himself, a part Tarjei doesn’t shy from using. For example, if he is asked to do something very boring such as… cooking. Then he’ll easily get someone else to do it for him. The same goes for cleaning. Because to tell the truth Tarjei is a rather laid-back and somewhat lazy person who avoids hard work as much as he can.
Oh, is it time to dig deeper? Sadly, Tarjei isn’t one of those who use his looks and charming ways to conceal an insecure person. No, he really is the way he acts. The only thing Tarjei might do is that he with joking words hide what is very important to him. Seriousness is something he lacks the ability to show, so he might often seem like a very cold person, not even serious in the times of need. That’s the way Tarjei likes it. If you don’t show or even have any weaknesses then you’ll find it easier to win, and no one can use you. Not the way he himself uses people through manipulation many times. Don’t look back ;; Born at the same time as his twin sister Elodié he was. The family they were given birth into was a quite rich Wisterian family. Merchants from the start that had become wealthy. Their parents were happy and loving. When growing up there was nothing missing from Tarjei and Elodié. Their parents spoiled them with gifts after gifts and spent all their free-time playing with them. The twins grew up as the best friends there had ever been. They played together and took care of each other. Then school as well as other things came along and they suddenly weren’t as close anymore. Tarjei was extremely social and had too many friends to count while Elodié had a more careful approach towards others.
Being very social and the center of attention was something that stuck with Tarjei his whole life. All his friends loved him very much. Not only was he skilled at everything at school but also funny, charming and good-looking. What was there not to like? Already at a quite young age Tarjei was one of the most popular boys around. Of course that had to bring some trouble… He was around 13-14 when he had his first ”girlfriend” something that certainly wasn’t appreciated by her father when he found them together… It probably took a turn for the worse the next week when he visited her sister… Oops. That’s pretty much how Tarjei spent his teens. Running in and out from houses, getting into trouble. This taught him a very valuable thing. How to talk his way out of problems.
You might thing that when he was closing in on his 20th birthday things would have calmed down a bit, but they really didn’t. Tarjei continued to spend his life fooling around. His father and mother desperately tried to get him to make something useful of his life. Like joining the army. When that suggestion came Tarjei laughed out loud. He? In the army? No way. He would have to work then! And get dirty! He did continue to train with his precious crossbow though, because that’s an easy way to impress people with. So now he’s 22 and still a child at heart. Unlike his sister who was much more mature and left for the army, needless to say Tarjei tried to convince her not to go. He’s worried about her. He is also beginning to realize that perhaps he should do something useful with his life… … That can wait. Fun first! This profile is approved!

Back to the B a s i c s »»»Name Katarinia Isabelle Corbane [Kat] »»»Age Nineteen»»»Gender Female »»»Country Kes'sarria »»»Class Rogue »»»Level Starter Tier»»»Occupation She delivers prescriptions from the local apocrathy, and she sometimes runs errands for some rather shady characters. »»»Religion --- A R e f l e c t i o n »»»Height Five Foot, Two Inches.»»»Hair Color Midnight Black»»»Eye Color A shocking ocean blue.»»»Overall Appearance Her outer appearance can be accredited to two things. Her bloodline, and a rather odd strike of chance. Like many in her race, she has the deep black hair, which is cut to remain above her shoulders at all times. She has the shocking eyes that shine with a blue that puts the ocean to shame, and last but not least is her perfectly pale skin, seemingly flawless not a freckle nor blemish upon her flesh. Beauty does indeed radiate from this girl. She glitters in any light, and seems to hold an uncanny radiance about her. Though odd is her size, compared to others of her race. Not only is she unusually short in stature, but she's rather thin as well. Her size cannot be blamed upon genetics as both of her parents were quite tall, and her weight has always been on the lighter side of things. She's a delicate being, with the small, thin stature of a ballet dancer. She's indeed a unique sight, even to those of her own kind. Her hands and feet are small and delicate, and at times she could be compared to one of those beautiful glass dolls. Though there is one difference between her and one of those dolls. Its the life burning within her eyes, the mere aura about her. She radiates in the light, and her presence is hard to ignore. No matter how pale she is, she seems far from deathly or ghostly. Though what exactly makes her so different from the others is hard to identify, almost like it's a hidden feature that one cannot see right away...Perhaps this feature is deeper then skin...
With the basics of her body mapped out, it would seem that she's a weak girl. Fragile and not meant for hard work. Though this is a very incorrect assumption about Kat. Though her body is small and fragile, it's much stronger then one could ever think possible. Not only is she extremely agile, but she has a strength to her that's hard to compete with. Her physical endurance is astonishing. She can run for miles, and go far past the point of what would normally exhaust a human. Though she isn't able to lift a ton, she is able to carry a fair amount of weight. She's a hard worker, who has trained herself to look vulnerable and weak, to hide her inner strength. She's learned that if people mistake her for being weak, that they will be much easier to defeat, because they will be surprised when they find out how strong she really is. She can physically handle a lot, and she's far from fragile. Her agility is probably one of the most surprising things about her. Despite her short legs that seem void of any more muscle then needed to hold her up, she's extremely quick on her feet. Her endurance allows her to run for miles without tiring. She's an expert at maneuvering and using her surroundings to her advantage. And when attacking, she can attack multiple times, very quickly, without tiring easily. She's fit, and what little muscle she has is toned to perfection. This glass rose, is about as tough as a diamond...
Apparel wise, she's quite the unique one. She has no real care for the latest fashion trends, and she tends to wear what is most comfortable, and efficient for her. Her main outfit tends to consist of a beautiful black corset, with a golden lace. Over the corset is a cropped jacket, unzipped to show off the layer beneath, and on each side of the jacket's breast are white X's, along with a hood laced with plush, white fur. Her pants are custom designed, black, baggy around the legs and tight around the waist. They have matching white X's on the top pocket of each leg, though an innumerable amount of pockets cover these pants. Chains hang from a couple of the pockets, and there are two straps hanging from the waist of the pants, crisscrossing as if they were suspenders. The pants are cropped at her knees. Her thin, beautifully slender legs are bare until you reach her heavy, black leather boots. They stop above her ankle, and they too, are custom made. They have straps across the top of the foot, zippers on the side and they are laced tightly, for the best amount of support possible. They may seem constricting but they actually allow her to move more then regular shoes. Around her neck hangs a beautiful golden locket, a matching golden heart dangling from the chain. The heart has a ruby in the middle, and a bunch of intricate engraved designs that cover the heart. The contents of the heart are unknown, as she allows no one to touch it, nor has she ever removed it from her neck. Her ears are pierced, three times on the left, four on the right. She also has some tattoos. Upon her shoulder blades are two matching wings, that cover her entire shoulder blades. They're intricately designed in black ink, and they are so detailed that they seem to move with her. The back of her neck, there is a small incantation that reads "Luna servata, lux santa. Chaos statutum, pejus minutum." though it's meaning, or connection to her, is unknown. »»»Weapon Though she tends to use her hands more then anything, she does carry a series of small daggers, varying in size from a six inch blade down to a three inch blade. She also has a small pouch full of a personal concoction of several mixed powders that create a blinding effect if she needs to make a quick get away. The Juicy D e t a i l s »»»Relationship status Single. »»»Personality While she is the middle child of the bunch, she isn't as balanced as one person would expect her to be. She is indeed balanced, yes, but only inwardly. She tends to be unbalanced in the way she behaves around people other then her sisters, but when she's just with them she's indeed the neutral of the three. Complex and hard to understand, it's quite difficult to fully get to know this girl until you show her that she can trust you, which is a very hard thing to do. But we'll start out with the basic, most evident and most common features first.
First and most common with Kat, you will find that she's quite the quiet character. She rarely speaks and is often thought to be the mute of the group. She avoids answering most questions unless she absolutely has to, and when that time comes she tends to answer them in the fewest words possible. Meek and quiet, she's often thought to be deaf and dumb as well, because in most instances she shows little acknowledgement to those around her. It isn't true, and she's actually very intellectual. Often thinking, she tends to remain quiet while she observes those around her. She pays more attention then one would guess, and she's a lot smarter then one would normally assume, even if she did speak. One of the many reasons why she doesn't speak, is because she finds that words are often thrown around in a careless nature. She finds that body language and action means so much more, and she'd much rather use that to confess her feelings and display her emotions, rather then commonly used words. But she doesn't stay mute like forever. Once you show her that she can trust you, which is indeed a very hard thing to do, she'll start to open up to you. You just need to show her that she can trust you, and show her that it's okay to trust you.
Once you crack her shell, you'll find that she's a constantly curious person. She loves to learn new things and she loves checking them out. Don't be surprised if you find her tinkering with things, or observing them closely. She will often take things apart and try to put them back together. Most of the time she does get them back in working order the first time around, but if it doesn't work she'll keep trying. Determination is something that is evident within her from the very start. She's one of the most determined, stubborn people you could ever possibly meet. She rarely gives up, and once her mind is set on something, it is set. She doesn't let anything or any one hold her back from her goals. She believes firmly in her values and will stand up for them no matter what the cost, even if she has to raise her voice. She's very firm with herself, and she doesn't let herself give up easily. She's always trying to prove people wrong, always trying to defy odds. She's a day dreamer, someone who invests a lot of her heart into her dreams. She believes that everyone has a destiny, and that anyone can change the world for the greater good. She believes she can do anything that she puts her mind to, and that if she really has to, she can defeat anyone that stands in her way. That makes her a very competitive person. When she opens up to you, you'll discover that she loves competition. If you want to race, she's the person you would challenge. Playful and fun loving, she loves competition but she's never a sore loser. She will always admit to defeat if she has fairly lost, and will indeed congratulate the winner. Never one to be fond of sour emotions, she tries her best to remain optimistic and happy as much as she can.
Her undying amount of determination mixed with her strong disliking of sadness or anger, makes her the problem solver. She's the person you want to come to when you have a problem or need advice. She opens her shoulder for anyone who needs to cry. She will always give hugs and comforting words, trying her best to make sure that no one is looked over. Caring and sweet, she's very selfless in the way she behaves. She puts everyone before herself, and then some. A saint of sorts, she tries her hardest to make sure the people around her are happiest, most specially those that she cares for. Anyone close to her gets treated like gold. She would walk to the ends of the Earth to make her friend or loved ones happy. She dedicates her life and soul to them, and gives them everything. Always trying to smile, and always being sweet, she makes sure that even the saddest of people have a smiling face to brighten their day. She is also very protective of her friends, despite her weakness. She'd gladly put her life on the line for a friend's safety. That simple feature doesn't allow her much time to really pay attention to herself. She always bottles up her sad emotions, and always hides her constant depression. She hides it in fear that it will upset those around her. She doesn't want anyone to be sad on her account, and so she keeps her emotions to herself at all times. She often tries to get her emotions out through writing, but she never has the time, and so her emotions often have a physical toll upon her body. But because of the constancy of her emotions, she has learned to overcome many obstacles, and she's become toughened and strong.
Because of these few features, one could guess that because she doesn't have much time to herself, and because she has all her confidence invested in her friends and humanity, one could guess very easily that she has absolutely no self confidence what so ever. Compliments do not lift her up, but instead the scold her and make her only more scolding towards herself. She's always beating down on herself, always mentally scolding herself. She finds it very hard to accept compliments, and even harder are gifts. Her selfless nature makes it extremely hard for her to receive gifts because she often feels guilty when a gift is given to her. She will often refuse the gift but with a little persuasion she will accept the gift, and then treat it like gold after indeed giving something back equal or greater value. Because of her kind and loving nature, many people tend to underestimate her and tend to believe that she has no temper. And while her temper is indeed very hard to awaken, it does indeed exist. And it's not a pretty thing. Her temper is a scary, fiery beast that even scares her. Because of her fears of hurting those she loves, she keeps her temper hidden and bottles up any bad emotions within herself, trying her hardest to remain calm and cool. But when her temper is released, she becomes a whole new person. She's loud and mean. Cruel with her words she can cause much damage with a few words, but even more damage can be caused from her bare hands. She's not a violent person by nature, but when set off she's very dangerous in how bad she can get. Because of that she hides it with shame, and tries her hardest to keep it concealed. This also creates a strong fear of love. She's terrified that she will end up hurting the one she loves. She doesn't realize how great she really is.
In a summary, she's actually a very loving, wonderful girl who is stuck in a massive internal war with herself. Lost and confused, scared and absolutely terrified of falling into any sort of relationship that could hurt her in the long run, she finds herself hesitant to get close to strangers. She's a sweetheart, and selfless. She'd never hurt someone unless she feels that they deserve it. Protective over what she loves, she guards the few loved ones she has with care and dedication. She tries her very hardest to be the very best person she could possibly be. She'll shower her dear friends with all the love she has. But when someone tries to give her that back she ends up shying away, scared to hurt them, and even more terrified to be hurt. She has a very fiery temper, but is strongly terrified of her own inner darkness. Curiosity leads her to her brilliance, even if it means making mistakes. She's silly and will do anything to make someone smile, though it isn't hard for her to do. Once you get on her good side it's hard to get off of it. She invests every ounce of her, every single bit of herself, her love and her soul into those she loves, making her very vulnerable. She has a strong hope for humanity, and an even stranger faith in it. She believes in the greater good, which can make her seem very naive at times. But she's intellectual and always observing. Don't underestimate her, you'll be very surprised at what you'll find. Give her a chance, show her some love, establish that it's okay, and you'll have met one of the sweetest girls in the world. You just need to put a little more effort then usual into it, though she's quite worth it, despite the fact that she denies such a truth. »»»History She was born into one of the largest families possible. She had multiple family members, only one of them was related to her by blood though. That one member, was her father. Now, I bet you're wondering where the other family members came from, well, we'll get to that soon enough. Let's start off with the most important figure in her life; daddy dearest. Kat's father was nobility, born into money, and born in the shade as they like to say. Her father was an assassin, and the owner of a very large assassination guild. It was like a mafia group, though they dealt only with death. Kat's mother was a horrid woman who had seduced Kat's father into falling in love. And when he had let his guard down for one person, she stole his heart, and the contents of his safe. And she left one thing; a bawling, premature bouncing baby girl set within a basket that was placed upon his desk. He found her, heart broken and filled with hate. Though, he could not turn his back to this baby girl. Her glittering ocean blue eyes matching his. She was his, and he had made a silent vow that he would invest the remaining compassion he had into his baby girl. He nurtured her, and raised her within the core of this assassination guild. She grew up knowing any young member of the guild as an older brother, she knew the older men as her uncles, and the few true women of the pack were all her replacement mothers. She grew up in the lap of luxury, and was destined to inherit her father's wealth and business, but let's not get ahead of ourselves...
She was raised in the confinements of the guild, given tutors and whatever she needed to grow and blossom. She grew into her father's footsteps, learning many tricks of the trade before many of the older members were able to comprehend such things. A brilliant mind resided within this girl, and it was evident that she would grow up to be exactly like her father. He wasn't a bad person, and had taken pride that he had never assassinated an innocent being. He convicted the scum of the streets, purging the alleys of drugs, rapists, prostitutes, the filth of the world. Every single assassination that he did, was done with respect, and an uncanny professionalism. And because her father was renowned for his brilliant methods, he taught many how to become the right kinds of assassins. And Kat, was one of his many students. He taught his ways with a sense of encouragement, and discipline. He may have been a complete softy towards his daughter, but no other person had managed to find their way into his heart. Every other man within the guild feared and equally respected Kat's father, and in the same sense they adopted Kat as their own. They adored this sweet hearted girl who often brought a lot of light, and love into such a dark, depressing environment. While others were bringing in heads of their targets, Kat was bringing cookies and goodies to the men. She loved everyone, adored every person she knew, she invested her entire heart into her father, and did the same. But all good things must come to an end, no? Nothing can ever remain perfect forever...
When Kat was about thirteen years old, there was a massive attack on her father's guild, her home. Many of the men that she had grown to love and think of as family, perished. Her father, desperate to save his dearest daughter, gave his most trusted gaurd the duty of taking her, and hiding her far, far away from the guild. But first, her father came into her room, slightly panicked from the attacks. He knew they had little time. And so he pressed a box to her chest, telling her that it was an early birthday present. He hugged her tightly, consoling and comforting the scared, lost little girl. With that sweet, lively smile of his, he told her that he loved her, planted a kiss upon her forehead and promised he would retrieve her later on when things calmed down. She nodded, her faith in her father strong. And then she left with the guard, having snuck out through a secret hallway. It would be the last time she ever saw her father. She was taken to the opposite side of the city, where her name would not be known, and where her identity would be safe. She was placed in what they called a temporary home, of an elderly man who ran an apocrathy. She waited for several weeks for her father to return, before she finally gave in and actually started warming up to the very kind old man. Though the love for her father and hope that he would one day came back never died. His present lay upon her neck, in the form of a goldne locket. She started working in the elderly man's shop shop, at first gathering simple herbs or running easy arronds. But as the elderly man noticed, Kat was adapting well to the outer city life. She had become very well adapted to her surroundings and it was not long before she knew every nook and cranny of the city by heart. But the turning point in her duties, was when she got into a competition with the delivery boy. She had challenged him to a race, stating that she could deliver more perscriptions in one hour, then he could in two.
The elderly man allowed this race to go through, and he decided he would observe them to see if this girl could in fact beat the delivery boy. At the end of the day, the number of delivered prescriptions were tallied. In two hours, the boy had delivered a total of twelve perscriptions, a large number for someone on foot. In one hour, Kat had delievered twenty-six, doing more then double the boy's work, in half the time. And so, the delivery boy gave up his job, and Kat started running deliveries. And because of her speed and ability to run for long periods of time (due to her training back at the guild, which she had vowed to keep secret), buisness began to boom for the small pharmacy. As the years passed though, Kat found her memories of her father growing heavier and heavier upon her heart. Delivering medicine was a very good job, and she was extremely skilled at it. But her heart was screaming at her to do more. She was often found day dreaming about the old days. She remembered the thrill, the adventure of being in the presence of deadly killers. She remembered the pride that her father held, and the longing to continue her father's legacy started to corrupt her mind. She started becoming rather friendly with some shady characters, and soon she wasn't only delivering perscriptions to elderly or sick... Her dreams to change the world for the better, to stop the war are starting to take over...She's decided to start working towards her goal, to become an assassin. And in the process, she plans on finding out what happened to her father, and if possible, she wants to make the men that she believes killed her father to pay, for taking away the only real family she had from her...There is more to her then anyone could have thought... Whenever she's attending to a patient she doesn't have the sort of emotional attachment most have. She always spares them a kind word and soft touch. Their pain is her pain. If there is a patient she can't heal, she is often the first to shed a tear.
Rue, although having grown up in harsh conditions, has no survival instinct at all. She trusts entirely. She can't hate and she easily loves. She does, however, have the ability to sense when someone is wrong in that odd sort of dangerous way. It's this ability that often saves her from harm.
{ History } From birth, Rue's family has always just been her beautiful mother, Eliza. The circumstances of her birth are sketchy and her blood-line is not as pure as it seems to be. Before the borders were closed, her mother had made the mistake of having fallen for a pirate and so Rue was conceived and, months later, born. The dashing pirate, of course, had left the very next day after Rue's conception.
Scorned by the upper society her mother was born into, mother and daughter were removed from the family. Having no money and no means of money, Rue's mother worked low-wage jobs day in and day out. To afford a small apartment Rue's mother dated the grungy land-lord. In return, Rue had a sort of father figure who tried his best to behave but would often drink one too many drinks.
It wasn't so bad, at least in Rue's fond memories it wasn't. Around her tenth birthday her gift was discovered by a fellow Healer. He trained her on the condition she work at the small school cleaning and preparing meals. Her gift turned out to be quite strong. Rue could heal, with the aid of her scrolls, even the most disastrous of wounds. The catch? Her overall health weakened. Simple wounds and such didn't have as bad effect on her frail health as bad wounds did. Often times, after curing a very sick patient, she would be confined to her floor pallet. Still, Rue would never leave the ill to suffer.
With her ability she was able to scrape together a small income at the expence of her guilt. She hated charging patients, rich or poor, money in exchange for her services. When the war began, Rue had decided if they would have her in her weak state, she would heal as many as she could. This profile is approved! (Yay! Another Wisteran! <3)

Let’s get the facts straight, shall we? Name: Vivienne Anya DuPont- goes by Viv Age: 19Gender: girl Country: Wistera Class: Archer Level: Starter Tier Occupation: part-time air-ship pilot, but since the war started she helps her parents at the ranch Religion: --- On the outside I’m... Height: Five feet, six inchesHair Colour: blondEye Colour: grayOverall Appearance: Vivienne stands at about five feet and six inches tall and fairly slim. She fits into the boyish figure category and would be mistaken for one if it weren’t for her rather feminine face and hair. Her skin is tanned because she’s almost always found outside, tending to the bovine and other farm animals. She has a lean musculature, proof of many long days working on a farm.
She has three piercings on her left ear, two on her right, and a nose piercing. She also has a few tattoos, a rather large one on her back displaying a mythical flying creature that signifies freedom. She has many scars each with a unique story. She’s broken her left leg twice and almost always has a bruise or two. She likes her war-wounds. Hey, cattle can be scary, especially if they start to stampede.
Her hair is a light blond colour that seems to reflect the sunlight during those hot summer days giving her an angelic appearance, even though she is far from an angelic person. Her eyes are not a very stunning colour, gray. Her face is a soft oval, with a cute nose and almond shaped eyes.Weapon: long-bowand on the inside you’ll find... Relationship Status: single Here I am, this is me: Vivienne is a laid-back individual who doesn’t let things worry her. She isn’t lazy, and is in fact quite active; she just doesn’t feel the need to be concerned about anything. What happens happens. This outlook on life has caused her to be somewhat ignorant of the effect of her actions, as she doesn’t think much about the consequences, much less the future. She’s a here and now, down to earth individual with a taste for adventure and the unknown. Her actions tend to be spontaneous and are usually based on instinct. She’s a nice individual, but often hesitates to help people...you never know what there true intentions are. Past & Present: Vivienne was born into a rather large family consisting of two older brothers, and older sister, her mother and father. With her large family comes and equally large ranch in Wistera, just at the outskirts of St. Daeis. Vivienne spent most of her child hood helping her parents around the ranch, tending to the animals and doing odd jobs around the house. Her three older siblings attended school in St. Daeis, and while her two older brothers enrolled in the army, her sister decided to follow a different path, choosing a life of faith rather than force.
In her early teens she started attending school at St. Daeis. She attended the normal classes, but also took extra-curricular classes in piloting the great air-ships of Wistera. She has her piloting license and when she is not helping her parents with the ranch, she is piloting the tourist ships. Since the war began she has stopped piloting...much to her disappointment.
Vivienne also took classes in archery and self-defence. She became one of the top archers in her class, exceeding all expectations with her incredible accuracy and reflexes. She took self-defence classes well, so that she could defend herself if something were to happen at close range. She’s looking to turn in her bow for a more practical weapon, a gun, but hasn’t yet had the opportunity. Since the war begun, the ranch has been housing many Wisteran soldiers, keeping Vivienne very busy. The thought of joining the army has never really crossed her mind, and if she had the choice she probably wouldn’t.
Vivienne's lead a rather regular life. No tragedies, no life changing experiences...at least, not yet. This profile is approved!

___» » Shandri Riley ___xx___xx pass me an id card » basic characteristics name ... Shandri Riley age ... Just turned twenty (20) gender ... Female nationality ... Wisteran class ... Mage level ... Starter Tier occupation ... Strange as it may sound, this lady's a protector of sorts. You hire her, you pay the gold, and she'll defend your life with her's (using magic obviously) ... but use the word 'mercenary' and all you'll get is a whole lot of nothing. Of course, this whole thing's the temporary measure, till she makes her way in the world. religion ... --- ___xx___xx straight onto the coroner's report » external features height ... 4 feet 11 inches hair color ... white (extreme blonde) eye color ... hazel overall appearance ... Shandri is an almost classic example of the Wisterian female: blonde hair, a medium sized body with some curves but not too much, and an 'average' height. In truth, she's probably a bit on the short side but no body would dare say that to her face - a sentiment all the more ironic when you actually get to know her. Her eyes are hazel, an indefinate mixture of green and brown. Her skin is both tanned and un-tanned, as although she likes to spend time in the sun, she is not a farmer and therefore does not need to work in the noon hours daily. After all, most attacks come at night, don't they? Her blonde (almost white in fact) hair is mostly pulled back, although she allows her bang-like fringe to fall out the front. She also has several almost crown-like spikes around her ponytail, which she says is "to stop anyone trying to yank my hair out".
Shandri wears primarily orange, black and white. A tight white vest/leotard-like piece stretches half-way up her neck. On her one orange sleeve she has a symbol showing she is a graduate mage from the convent of the Kes'sarria . The three white lines on that sleeve also labels her as the most inexperienced of mages, a fact she tries to cover up by saying that each white line recognises a level ofexpertise mastered, despite the fact it is the very opposite. On her other arm she has a black glove-like sleeve of sorts that begins just below her shoulder and progresses down to a grey glove on her left hand. Shandri also wears black pants, flaring out at the bottom before they meet her white sandals. These sandles are simple, but practical - even if they don't look like it. Around her waist she has various materials and objects: two black crosses designed to intimidate as much as anything else; a black cord belt; and an orange 'waist guard' as she describes it that once more bears the symbol of her mage graduation.
weapon ... A staff which serves the dual purpose of a blade, hangs from her belt. It is silver in color, with a special sheen that can only be found on bespelled steel. The handle, about three-quaters of the way up the blade, is made out of a strange orange substance that writhes around the blade when she uses spells. Properly enchanted, this orange 'stuff' can form a staff of its own, but she finds it easier to carry her blade and her staff as one. Saves packing room, you see. ___xx___xx only in the mind » internal features relationship status ... Single, and perfectly happy as that at the moment. personality ... "Mages are serious, mages are noble," it was one of the first thing they tried to drill into her back when she was a child. Unfortunately, the lesson seems not to have stuck. Shandri is, as anyone who knows her will honestly tell you, a very mischevious sort of girl. A constant troublemaker with very loud ambitions, she is not the sort of person to be quiet on her opinions. She has rather firm views on anything that affects her sphere of life as she calls it, and is completely indecisive about anything that doesn't. Her entire view of life revolves around having as much fun as possibile and making a name for herself while she's at it. Not to mention, she can be as stubborn as hell, and just as fierce, despite her happy-go-lucky smile, witty mind and generally positive outlook. But don't mistake this optimism as being naive. She's rather world-wise and knows what it takes to get things done. history ... Shandri never knew her parents and doesn't particularly care to either. They abandoned her when she was just a baby in a Kes'sarrian convent of sorts, despite the fact it was plainly obvious to anyone that she was Wisteran. There she was raised, with the pious men and women both doting on her, and trying to decide if she was the recipient of a great destiny. For some reason, the idea of having raised the next legendary figure themselves appealed to them. So they were a bit disappointed to find out her talents began and ended with magic. No godly strength, no unearthly intelligence, just plain old magic. Once it became obvious that she was never going to be anythign other than a mage (no matter how good a mage she was), they decided to try and make her a sort of noble mage. The majority of the time that Shandri had between the age of five and fifteen was spent being taught about magic, taught about the Kes'sarrian religion, or taught about being a proper lady, even though for all they knew her mother was a prostitute.
After she turned ten, Shandri actually started to pay attention to these lessons and was surprised to find that she actually enjoyed magic. All the childish activities that she could use magic for delighted her once more, and everything was better. The monks were still fanatics; the food was still terrible and Shandri was still a penniless nobody, but she didn't mind. Of course, it wasn't long before she became impatient with the latter and began to look for a way to make her way in the world. When she was fifteen, Shandri set out on something that was not the journey of self-discovery that she told her former tutors she was persuing, but nothing more or less than a job search. Carrying the staff they had given her as a final present, she searched the width and brest of the nation in order to find work. A few jobs here, a few jobs there, and soon Shandri had earnt enough money to call herself a working mage protector.
That was how her life worked until the war began. Because of her appearance and past, Shandri was unable to flee to Hysu'lae or even her native Wisteria after the borders closed. Work became increasingly scarce. And so now she finds herself stuck, without work, without any form of escape. She would never join the army - having little sympathy for either nature and an increasing irritation with both. As such she has set out to try and do what she can to end the war. For this war has just passed into Shandri's sphere, and she doesn't like its effects. This profile is approved!

ornelius - - - - rake. +++Basic Characteristics_Name: Cornelius Marcus Drake *Age: 19 *Gender: Male *Country: Wistera *Class: Mage *Level: Starter Tier *Occupation: Simply put, Drake is the owner of a bookstore. However, he rarely makes a decent amount of money as he spends the majority of his work hours reading the books that he is supposed to be selling. His excuse? "No one wishes to learn in a time of war - my endeavours would be meaningless." Religion: --- +++External Features_ Height: 5'9" Hair color: Auburn Eye color: Leafy Green Overall Appearance: Drake is particular to collared shirts (white ones for the most part, sometimes blue) and is ultimately most fond of his brown leather vest, which he can usually be seen in at any time of the year (it was a gift from his father, and a cherished one at that). As far as pants went, he usually just wore what was clean, which could range from denims to black skinny jeans. He didn't care for fashion, so coordinating colors wasn't an issue. As for his body structure, he was about as skinny as they come. He lived of a meager salary so his meals were scarce, and he was keen on spending his cash on more books anyway. Both of his ears were pierced, but he rarely changed them, and he had had them pierced at birth, so it wasn't his decision on whether or not he kept them.
Of all the things about his appearance, his hair and his complexion are two things that Drake is fairly proud of. His hair is a deep shade of auburn, taking on a more reddish hue than brown, and is cropped a bit above his shoulders. It shone healthy in the sun when he went out, and he took good care of it. His complexion was that of a rich vanilla cream sprinkled with cinnamon colored freckles, and it was practically flawless. Sitting on the edge of his pointy nose were a pair of square specs, black framed and small which, given by their position on the end of his nose, seemed to be there only for visual effect, and it was rare that he ever truly needed them. Weapon: Drake's main weapon is a thin staff topped with a round red crystal, usually used to enhance his fire magics. On his person, he carries two variations of elemental scrolls - a Fireball scroll, which was the most frequently used, and a Pyre Scroll, which he had only used once in an effort to save himself and his store for a particularly violent and ornery witch. +++Internal Features_Relationship status: Single. Drake has never had a single girlfriend. Personality: Drake can be characterized as a know-it-all with a heart of gold and good intentions. Surprisingly, he can seem to be quite the war mongrel when the topic is brought up, however he looks at every issue with logic and as much humanity as the young man could muster. He loves reading so much that, as previously mentioned, it inhibits his work ethic, and he generally has no company apart from the occasional visit from his mother and brother. He is very emotional and is oft compared to a teenage girl going through puberty. His speech is eloquent and he takes pride in his extensive knowledge on, well, just about anything. History: Drake had a normal childhood, with the exception of his father's death, which happened under mysterious circumstances, and to this day, Drake has yet to understand why he died, or how. All he knew was that one day, he never returned home, and his mother solemnly but gently relayed the news to him and his brother, Caius, when the two of them had returned home from school one afternoon. Drake eventually moved on, but his brother bore a hateful grudge, and the two boys, who were once very close in childhood, grew apart, and eventually stopped communicating altogether. Drake left his mothers household at the age of eighteen and opened his bookstore in a little building on a rural Wisteran street corner. He lived in the apartment above the store, which his father's money had bought, and his mother visited often. Caius visited as well, but much. much less frequently, and the visits were often strained and tense.
Cornelius comes from a long line of magic users, and he is no stranger to their practice. From a young age, he had always been complimented on his tactics and use of scrolls, and his father called him his "gifted son" (much to the dismay of a certain jealous brother). He went through school with high marks (partially by his love of learning and mostly because he was eager to get out into the real world) and graduated at the top of his class. He couldn't afford to go to a university, and he didn't believe in scholarships, so he opened the bookstore to pay for college. This profile is approved!

xoDespite popular opinion, if you removed the dirty rags she wears as clothes, combed her hair, washed her face, scrubbed out the dirt from underneath her fingernails, and forced her to stand up straighter … Remy would be considered very pretty, maybe even beautiful. It is quite befuddling, how her handsome appearance is hidden away by a simple guise. Because she has lived in poverty for seventeen years, Remy has never indulged in brand-new dresses, shoes that didn’t pinch her toes, combs that weren’t missing any teeth, or jewelry that wasn’t stolen. Her demeanor will not change, as long as she stays a moneyless crook.
xoIt is her size that others notice when introduced for the first time. To put it simply, Remy is small, extraordinarily so. But if it wasn’t for her chest, she would have a difficult time trying to convince everyone that she is seventeen. Considering her situation, Remy is the owner of a perfectly-portioned, petite body. Even though she is very lean, her body possesses the subtlest of subtle curves that most men enjoy. Remy may not have been blessed with a lot, but what she was blessed with was a flawless complexion. Remy was lucky enough to escape the wrath of acne. Unfortunately, her unblemished face is covered up by a thick layer of dirt … Just like the rest of her body. Her wispy magenta-colored hair is chopped rather short, revealing the graceful curves of her neck. Situated in the middle of her face, are Remy’s dark violet eyes, surrounded by thick, long lashes that look like feather-dusters. Her hair and her eyes compliment each other, enhancing and defining her face’s cute, doll-like features.
xoEverything that Remy wears was either stolen, or given to her by a friend or member of her family. Her clothes are often too big for her, or either not big enough. Like stated before, because of her finical situation, she has never had a choice when it comes to clothing. But nonetheless, Remy likes wearing outfits made for boys; collared shirts, trousers, and even suspenders. They are more comfortable then the dresses and skirts girls wear. But then again, Remy will wear anything, as long as it keeps her warm.
xoxoweapon
xoA jambiya, which is a specific type of dagger with a short curled blade that is worn on a belt. But Remy hides her jambiya under her shirt by tucking it into her pants. Although it is a very worn weapon, given to her by her brother, with a wooden hilt and a rusty blade, it serves its purpose. xo๑۩۞۩๑ inτəяnαʟ ғəατuяəsxoxorelationship status Single xoxopersonality
xoEver heard of the phrase, ‘don’t judge a book by its cover’? Well, when it applies to Remy, the words could never be more true. She is a very deceitful girl, and would do anything for a little pocket money, like trading her own grandmother to a horde of bandits. Although the thought is rather grim, it’s true. But what did you expect? She was raised by a group of thieving crooks and scoundrels; so stealing only comes naturally. Lying has become a habit, she can’t seem to break. But her little white lies have turned into a profession, which she is very good at. When on the street, begging for money, she can create the most brilliant sob stories that would make even the blackest of hearts ache in sympathy in a matter of seconds. Her imagination is limitless. She misleads, deceives, and cheats for her own personal gain.
xoAlthough she maybe very sly, she makes up for it in intelligence. Not the type of smarts you gain by reading a lot of books, oh no, it the type of brains you use on the street. And either you got it, or you don’t, and Remy definitely has it. It’s called cunning. She wouldn’t be such a good liar or deceiver, if it wasn’t for her ingenuity and artful subtlety. If you want to survive Wisteria’s slums, you have to have a great deal of courage and craftiness, or you will not survive. Fortunately, Remy possess those abilities and more. She may not be that valiant, but she is gutsy, most have to admit that. Even though it may not be expressed on the outside, she has shows a lot of nerve standing up to foes bigger and stronger to her. Nothing seems to scare this plucky little girl.
xoxohistory
xoEttie “Remy” Remington entered the world, trailed by Ollie her young brother, on a very cold morning. The birth of Ollie and Remy was not a commemorated occasion; it was in fact, the exact opposite. It was a very grim day for their mother. She was completely alone in the world, with only little money, and two crying babies. The twins’ father had scampered off seven months ago, after their mother had told him she was pregnant. But despite all the obstacles in her way, she and her children survived … for the most part. Out of sympathy from the owner, the new mother was hired as a bar maiden at a small tavern in the slums of Wisteria. She and her children lived in the attic of the tavern for several years, sharing only one bed. It was in that old building with creaky floorboards and rotting wood that they grew up in. It wasn’t the best atmosphere for a child, considering it was always filled to the brim with drunks, prostitutes, gamblers, and thieves. But that was where Remy and Ollie learned the art of deceit. As their mother worked, they would roam the streets, begging for money. They would come home in the evening, with heavy pockets of gold and sweets. No one could refuse them, they were so adorable! But as they got older, gradually less money started coming in. So, they learned how to pickpocket. It first started out as a game, and ended up as a well-paying profession. Of course, along the way they ran into a bit of trouble. But nothing they couldn’t lie themselves out of.
xoThrough the years, their mother enjoyed many boyfriends, desperately searching for the perfect father figure for her rambunctious children. But, of course, they all turned out to be criminals and scoundrels. Considering himself the patriarch of the family, Ollie rarely got along with her flighty beaus. In the mornings they would help clean the tavern, and at night their mother taught them how to read. Books never sparked an interest in Remy, unlike her twin, because she’d rather be outside actually living the adventure. But she didn’t mind when her brother read to her; actually, she enjoyed it very much. Even though they had no money, they live a good, simple life. But that soon came to a change, once the war started.
xoOnce he turned sixteen, he joined the Wisteran army, against his family’s wishes. Ollie, although much bigger than his sister, was scrawny, prone to sickness, and hardly fit for fighting; he didn’t last a month on the battle field. At least he died for his country, which was the only honor that Remington had to its name. Remy’s mother passed away shortly from a mixture of sickness and grief. But, being the strongest of the three, Remy survived. It’s very hard without Ollie. When he died, he took an important piece of Remy with him. She is now living, but not very well ..

 • ○ ●Sit, make time to chat.. • ○ ● » A Whisper in the wind; Colette Saint, though those close just call me Lettie. » Time spend on this land; Don't be betrayed by the look on my face, I'm nineteen, no younger and no older. » The truth behind the pretty face; Though she hides her body behind her big dresses and her long hair, she is infact female. And yes, she actually has a female body, of nineteen, though at first glance you will think of her as a child. » The land from which I hale; Wisteria. » What I'll be doing until I die; Mage » My current level; Starter Tier » How I make a pretty penny; Due to being the eldest child of Saint family, she is the owner by default of the Rose Cafe. But from time to time, people call on her to use her magics. » My beliefs; --- • ○ ● At first glance.. » Without heels; Five feet, three inches. » Fluttering in the breeze; A silk blonde usually only seen on china dolls. » The window of the soul's colour happens to be; A light blue haze, the kind you would see early in the morning over a mountain. » The reflection in the mirror; Colette is a classic girl by far. Long blonde hair, curled at the ends, hazy blue eyes and a refined aura about her. At first glance, some may mistake her for a child, due to her facial features, though she is infact nineteen.
Her hair perhaps reaches a bit past her middle while standing. Not nearly as blonde as other Wisterians, it retains a yellow-gold hue, but can also absorb the colours around to give off different hues, as if her hair were the white-blonde like other Wisterians.
However, her people aren't known for majestic eyes, not like Kes'sarrians, but it retains a nice colour that give a welcome feel. Again, comparing herself to other Wisterians, she probably has a more significant shade than her peers.
Her pale complection is almost ideal for most Wisterian's. But something that sets her apart from just about anyone, is her classic dresses and head-dresses. Hiding her body from the world with her big poofy Victorian era dresses, some may think she is a china doll. Though on all her dresses or head-dresses, she will always fancy a rose. Being her family signature or for her job, no one's really asked her so that's all anyone really assumes.
» My right to bare arms; When Colette does happen about to fight or use her magic for clients, she whelds a cherry wood staff that towers over her at a glorious six feet. Down the body of the staff is many inscriptions, magical lyrics to ward away evil spirits and prayers to the God's for victory. Perched atop the staff is an orb that retains no colour and all colours at once, surrounded by rose thorns and small buds that bloom during battle. Get to know the real me.. • ○ ● » Availability; Very much single, she's always been scared to get into a relationship, scared of rejection. » Write me a novel; Being the classic lady she was brought up as, Colette is very refined and noble. Just as a mage should be, no? Coming from a well-to-do family, she's always been a fine person, kind and just. Though every rose has its thorns, when it comes to serious matter's, she can be quite the buzzard. However, she also has definite fears. Nothing like normal women though, she fears rejection. You will hardly ever see her seek a job for her magic; she lets the people come to her. She fears judgment.
Being oldest in her family, she's always had to be the third parent, watching over people constantly to make sure they don't get in trouble or trouble the situation if you will. Going back to her thorny side, she can have quite an attitude. She hates rude people and those intolerant of other people's cultures. Though she hardly ever yells, she states that a lady must retain complete composure at all times; it will only be every blue moon you will see her so upset that foul language and threats be shouted from her small rosy lips.
Sometimes, it is strictly business. That is what has kept her single for a while too. However, the world hasn't been quite just with her, she retains the look of a child, facial features wise, and that causes people to not listen to her. No fear though, people will listen to her, not always willingly, but it will happen. Some might even say she could be a Don of a mafia; Forgiving and just when you are on the right shoulder, but leave that and you could be regretting it for the rest of your life. » May the past never haunt you; Born and raised in St. Daeis City, Wisteria. She wasn't necessarily a wanted child before she was born. Her mother, Alouette, was scared. The soon to be child, Colette Saint, wasn't positively Mister Demetre Saint's. Before she had married Demetre, she was in a relationship with a Kes'sarrian. Of course, when she was born, it was clear, thankfully it was in fact Demetre Saint's first child.
No one was sure what Colette's, or soon to be called Lettie, forte in life would be. But around age 10 she showed signs of being able to use and control magic. It was decided, she would be trained to be a mage. Demetre and Alouette were so happy with their child, they sent her to the best Mage for apprenticeship, their money could buy.
Eventually Lettie grew into a fine woman, taking after her past grandmother for her Victorian dresses and headdresses; she resembled a fine woman of ages past. Soon, after the birth of her third sister, Alouette died in labour. The death took a toll on Demetre, his work was becoming careless, and he didn't seem fit to do anything. A year after her death, he bought a street-side shop and opened up a cafe, dedicated to his late-wife. The Rose Cafe was up and soon after, Demetre was summoned to fight for his country, leaving his four daughters to run the shop. Lettie being the oldest was of course in charge of the store, while her sisters waited tables and ran the kitchen. This did not quite cover store expenses, so Lettie now works more as a Mage for hire, than anything else. Which was something else setting her aside. Most Mages were trained in the individual arts of elemental magic, where as Lettie was gifted in the element of Song and sound magics. She can do some other elemental magics, but her forte is those magics that require a lyric to be sang.

Such. A. Long. Day. Dear goodness.... Ligeia almost passed out on his bed when he entered his hotel room. Such a chaotic day.... Ligeia did not like Chaos. Chaos was bad. And not the bad-fun kind of bad... just bad. Not that Ligeia really liked bad-fun besides when a certain someone was..... well Ligeia didn't even want to think about that kind of thing at the moment either. Then he would have to get into this moral debate with himself about sexual thinking and he did not really feel like nagging at himself at that moment in time. He has just learned about this sudden silly war.... and borders being closed off. Just PEACHY, how was he going to get home with all this going on?! However, just as his face hit the pillow... he heard something fall to the floor. He got up, rubbing at his eyes, looking down at the floor, seeing a piece of paper and a pen sitting there. Picking up the piece of paper, he discovered a survey of sorts, left by the hotel. Apparently, they wanted him to fill it in.
Letting out a defeated sigh, he opened the piece of paper, looking over it and beginning to fill it out. Basic Characteristics Name: Ligeia E. Crowe. Ligeia wrote in his name, thinking over the meaning of the simple thing as the words covered that blank space. Ligeia, his first name. Embarrassing when people questioned what it meant... its origin, or even were wise enough to figure out that it was originally a woman's name. Very few seemed to notice however, so he was saved that embarrassment. And the E. in his name...... E for Edward. Having been raised without parents to name him, an orphan, he hadn't chosen his middle name until quite a few years into his life. More painful memories he felt the masochistic need to remind himself of every chance he got.... dear goodness he was certainly a delightful person, wasn't he? And the last name, also chosen out but at an earlier age. He happened to forget the reason why he chose it, but it was simple and easily remembered. Age: Twenty-Seven Dear goodness, has it really been 27 years? Ligeia had to actually pause a moment and think the answer over before he wrote it down. People barley asked his age, and he seldom gave it out. To think of all the things that had happened in the past years.... it was shocking to realize that in no time at all he would be Thirty years old. Most would find that frightening and get a bit of a shock, realizing you are just that much closer to death. Ligeia seldom feared death however, it seemed so much a part of his life now that he doubted even something powerful as death would or could end his existence. Gender: Male. Ligeia stopped for another moment, rolling his eyes when a few people came to mind who would insist he enter another gender on the piece of paper since he was 'more womanly than half the females in the world'. A sick joke that seemed to pop up constantly, that he continued to ignore. Country: Wistera; my current little prison of choice (pardon the grim sarcasm, I seem to be in quite the sour mood today...) Ligeia could not help himself, he had to fill that one in a bit sarcastically. It was true however, though he originated in Wistera... he was stuck there at the moment. He had other people waiting for him in another region... but he had no way to get there unless he obtained military rights, and Ligeia joining the military was as probable as the oceans turning black and the sky falling. So while his answer was supposed to come off as sarcasm, it was true. Wistera was his prison until he could cross borders once more. Class: MageAnd a damn good one at that. Ligeia filled this one in with a bit of a smirk, reviewing his abilities in his head. Physically ..... Ligeia admitted, a five year old child could possibly bench-press more than he could, but what he lacked in strength he made up for with pure talent. Level: Starter Tier At the moment, yes Ligeia happened to be the weakest class. Was he only that talented? Certainly not! Ligeia had more ability in his left pinky than some of the higher ranked imbeciles they allowed to run around with staffs and swords. Did Ligeia attempt to move up in ranks? No. He did not. Ranks were a system set up by others who wised to easily classify their opponents. He would rather people underestimate him, and catch them by surprise rather than have the glory. Occupation: Retired. Ligeia could put down no other occupation besides this one. He had no solid job.... Ligeia had already made his fortune. Through inheritance, through investment schemes, through profitable planning and other various successful jobs, Ligeia had gotten enough money to last him the rest of his life. He had enough for a life's worth of food, hotels, clothing and books. So his occupation was simply to travel the world and add onto his vast extensive knowledge. Religion: --- Ligeia would keep this blank. He could not possibly answer.... his religion was a touchy subject. Certainly, no one would put it against him if he didn't fill it in.... External Features Height: Five feet and Seven inches. Easy enough. It was true, a bit on the short side but he didn't need height on his side. He had intelligence. Hair color: White. White hair... It had changed though. Once it was a light silver color, that silver seemed to fade though. And even before that it had been a darker gray. That was not even the color hair he was born with. He was born with bright orange locks, and extremely loud color to have. That all faded away though due to extreme shock, back many years ago... Eye color: Dark gray. Just like how Ligeia could not stop change from happening to himself, change was happening to his body. He had been born with bright green eyes, and those too faded to dull gray when a certain incident happened. They seemed to lighten up as well over the years however, oddly enough. Overall Appearance: Pale skinned, usually dressed in suits or other formal clothing. Ligeia did not wish to really elaborate on this.... these questions were beginning to get a bit odd. Did they really need to know how he dressed, and what he looked like? Ligeia was pale indeed, barley any coloration at all. The only time he ever got any color on his face was when he was embarrassed and a non-stoppable blush spread across his cheeks. His skin was completely flawless, save for a few scars on his chest and upper back. As for clothing, Ligeia was indeed formal. He refused to have anything besides suits, ties, and button up shirts and all that. He always wore dress pants, and his idea of casual was walking around without his vest and tie. He also wore turtlenecks however, along with classy pants and jackets. He also had a pair of glasses, square rimmed. Oddly enough these were completely unnecessary, his vision was perfect. However, he liked to be underestimated and what better way than to fake poor eyesight? Ligeia was a very slim man.... hardly any muscle mass on him at all. He was a bit underweight, having not eaten much lately due to worry... but he was still an attractive man. Nothing eye-popping in his opinion, much less horribly desirable... but he figured himself to be without any physical flaws someone would find unattractive. Ligeia took this time to look through some photos he had hidden away in his vest, that might cure his homesickness for a bit and give his mind a bit of a comparison, having no mirror around. Just a few pictures Legrand had taken.... like this and this one. Frederick had also taken a couple...... one and these and that time he tried to wake Ligeia up for no apparent reason..... Finally, he took a look at one miniature drawn out portrait he had a smaller copy of, taken from a few years back... one of his only good portraits. Weapon: I shall use whatever is around me as a weapon, if need be. However, I do have a certain weapon I have been using for a very long time that never changes. I call it my 'trump deck', a crafty little invention created by myself. The Trump deck is a pack of playing cards, their appearance being normal save for a small yellow line running down the right side of each card. This line is the significance of the card. When needed, the user shall remove a card from my deck and tear the card down the line. This releases a certain amount of energy, varying based on which card was torn. Lower value cards won't give as much energy as a higher value. Twos are the weakest and Aces are the most powerful. Each card will give the user a certain trait, weapon, or power... such as a staff or super-strength or even steel arms. However, each card also comes with a pre-set price. Once the power the user obtains is received, the user looses something. A certain memory, control over a body part, some knowledge.... or their life, all their logic, and other things such as this. The user can never get the things they loose back once they have lost them, unless they sacrifice the life of someone close to them (which of course, would never happen. Ligeia would die before sacrificing a friend or loved one). They also temporarily loose sanity.... more sanity the higher the power of the card is. Hence, Ligeia does not use these a lot. He keeps the extended explanation out however.... It is most certainly not needed. If the reader did not know what a trump card was, well that was just too bad. Internal Features Relationship status: In committed relationshipLigeia's eyes travelled down to his left hand, spotting a small silver ring. Ligeia did not quite know how to explain his current relationship besides that. They were certainly lovers, two people with some kind of strange connection. Ligeia loved Frederick very much. The relationship had started so oddly, so confusing, but somehow they had gotten to the point where they understood each other somewhat... and Ligeia obtained a ring as a symbol of devotion. Such a funny thing, going from insisting that he is hetero-sexual and then right into a strange and twisted romantic relationship with such a man. How he missed Frederick...
To get his mind off of that, Ligeia looked to the next section.
Personality? What kind of survey was this?! Personality?! Ligeia did not know quite how to fill this out at first. It was..... so irrational! However, he would give it his best. Personality: Organized, strict, intelligent. 'Organized and strict rich male looking for a SWM for long walks on the beach and cozy fireplace snuggles' Dear goodness Ligeia was going to commit suicide if he let those thoughts continue. He sounded like he was filling out a personal add in some kind of dating magazine. Ligeia was indeed organized.... obsessively organized. In fact, there was a name for men like Ligeia. People with 'Obsessive Compulsive Disorder'. It had calmed down in the past couple of years... but Ligeia still found himself tapping the four corners of a book before opening it, re-opening doors if he didn't open it correctly the first time... and obsessively cleaning to avoid anxiety attacks. Ligeia got anxiety attacks quite a lot... he was also extremely paranoid. He had a irrational fear of germs, and other things. At one point he was terrified of blond people, oddly enough. Strict was indeed another word to describe Ligeia. While he had also gotten a bit softer as years went by, he still would not stand listening to others swear or act inappropriately. He was a bit close-minded, and could be quite stubborn. Besides all of this, he was most certainly intelligent. He wanted to miss no piece of knowledge... no valuable information. He wanted to know everything. And yet, while he could be strict and demanding and angry.... Ligeia had a soft side to him. He was always quiet and gentle with children, and could never leave someone in need of him. It was easy to tell when he got nervous.... Ligeia had a terribly stuttering problem that only showed when he got nervous or anxious, backed into a corner or in other submissive circumstances. He would NEVER let alone know this though, let along a survey.
Next along the lines of questions was.........................
Well this was a fine 'how do you do'. History?! Did this survey really expect him to give his life story, right here and then? Certainly not! Ligeia would never fill in such personal information! History: Born in Wistera, moved out of country for a short period of time, recently returned. That was all he was going to give some piece of paper who did not even care to give its name back to him! ....... the person who wrote the paper actually, not the paper itself. Dear goodness, Ligeia really was going insane. Point being? Ligeia was not going to trust anyone with his past. It was hard to think about.... painful for the first part of his life.
The first part of his life was long and extensive, were very few significant things happened. He was abandoned on the steps of a temple as a baby, his parents leaving only a note asking for the priests there to take care of him. He was raised there until 17, when he asked to be allowed to go out and search the world.... to learn more. So what did they do? Send him off with a smile? Nope. They shoved him over a cliff. Very loving, eh? Giving him a woman's name then trying to kill him off for knowing too much. But he didn't die. No, he survived... though the shocked turned his hair gray and his eyes gray, he lived. The next part of his life was a bit more depressing. He was saved by a rich man.... his name was Edward. Edward was no normal man, he was wealthy, lonely, drug addicted.... and completely obsessed with Ligeia. Ligeia was thankful though, so he stayed and decided to learn all he could from the man, and educate him about what else he knew. Ligeia somehow fell in love with Edward... this rich opium-addict who seemed to obsess over him. Perhaps it was the love of having so much attention on yourself? Ligeia loved him back until one day, when he fell very ill. Ligeia was alive still... but Edward believed him to be dead. He sent the 'body' away to be buried, but an old woman caught up with him before he was put into the ground and took him, healing him back at her cottage and curing his disease. After being cured, Ligeia immediately went back to Edward's house, so excited and thinking that Edward would be waiting for him, just as obsessive as before. However, when he got there he learned the grim truth.... Edward was getting married. He was getting married to the lady Rowena, a beautiful blond woman he had recently met. Heartbroken, Ligeia could not leave. He insisted that he stay as a servant, and one day talk with Edward himself. The day came when Rowena suddenly fell ill with a disease as well, and Ligeia went to speak with Edward himself. Edward had overdosed on opium however, shocked to see Ligeia before him and convinced he had come back from the dead for revenge. Ligeia held Edward as he died from the drug use, apologizing in an insane manner. If Ligeia had been heartbroken before, now he was devastated. Unable to let his death be for nothing, Ligeia used black magic to turn his love's body into a weapon, his trump deck. Ligeia left Edward and his castle, being the only inheritor of all of the money that he had owned. Without any purpose, he wandered until he found a 'cleaning crew'. This cleaning crew was a group of people all working for the royals, an assassination team disguised as a simple team of cleaners. Either way they 'cleaned' for the royal family. By now his heart was frozen over, all emotion void and gone. He was sure this is how he would spend the rest of his life.... until he got to know one of them more.... personally. Frederick. Once again, it was a relationship that started with an obsession. Frederick would approach Ligeia time after time, attempting to start conversation and Ligeia would coldly ignore him or tell him off, trying to keep distance. Frederick was impulsive, rude, violent and loud, highly sexual and perverse. Ligeia did not like him at all at first. He figured that he was only an idiot. A moron and imbecile. Ligeia hated Frederick.... all up until the day he made the first move and actually kissed him. Ligeia suddenly felt emotion again, and his icy personality began to crack. From that point on, Ligeia began to become terrified of Frederick. One day, the cleaning crew split. Half of the crew took off, trying to escape their profession and be more 'free', going out to do whatever the hell they wanted as 'rogues'. Ligeia and the rest of the team were sent after them, to reunite the cleaning crew. The cleaning crew never was really reunited. They chased and chased, but never could convince the rogues that it was a good idea to join. Not for the money, not for the power, not for any reason. Frederick stalked Ligeia, as Ligeia tried to find him. It was funny, thinking about how the entire time they had been chasing after one another. Ligeia did not quite know exactly when he really fell in love with Frederick, but it took so long for either of them to realize what their situation was. Ligeia and the rest left the cleaning screw, moving away to another territory to start new lives. Some stayed together, finding companions amongst themselves, and a few travelled off to find people elsewhere. Frederick and Ligeia stayed together, finally somehow settling down in a comfortable relationship. Ligeia, recently, started the new chapter to his life. Before the war broke out, Ligeia had decided to travel to Wistera to pick up a book he had been after... searching for all over the countries. Frederick had decided to stay back, letting Ligeia have his own little adventure for once. However..... the borders closed after Ligeia left the country, and he was separated from Frederick.
Ligeia let out a sigh, putting down the pen he had been using to fill out the survey, too depressed to continue anymore. He didn't need this survey, he didn't need any stupid little pieces of paper or even that book he wanted.
He was going to get across those borders. He was going to get back to his friends..... Egaeus, Madeline, Roderick, Eleonora, Legrand, Montressor........ And Frederick. He was going to get back to them even if he had to stop this war himself. This profile is approved! ( Sorry that this is so late. D: )

Basic CharacteristicsName: Christine "Chris" Rayne Age: Nineteen Gender: Female Country: Hysu'lae Class: Brawler Level: Starter Tier Occupation: I guard a small tavern across from the Inn I reside in. I am there to just make sure people don't get out of hand, and if they do I either ask them to leave or... force them to. Religion: --- External FeaturesHeight:Five feet, eight inches Hair color:Dark brown, borderline black Eye color:A crisp blue, similar to that of the ocean Overall Appearance:In her line of work, it isn't really necessary to pretty yourself up. She doesn't try to make herself presentable, but she doesn't hide that she is a woman. In fact, some would say that with her form fitting pants and low cut shirts that she takes pride in flaunting it. They wouldn't be too far off, but she has reasons for these kinds of clothes. She liked the feeling of the wind on her skin, as with the sun. But, she also likes to occasionally stir up a little trouble with rowdy, drunk men. Her shirts are usually short sleeve, low cut, and show her stomach to any who look. That, along with her tight pants or shorts can usually attract enough attention for her to earn her pay in the tavern. To a lot of men, no does indeed mean yes, especially when under the influence of alcohol.
She seems to keep herself in fairly good condition, keeping clean. Her skin is rarely marred with dirt or grim, her nails kept at a decent length and cleaned the best she can. Her hair is soft, almost silken, and is always left hanging around her shoulders and back. Her clothes may not always be in the best condition, but they are usually clean for the most part. She isn't a compulsive cleaner, but she does clean her own things if they look filthy. Her body, although clearly feminine, is well toned with lean muscle. She may not appear strong, but those who have been on the other end of her punches can attest otherwise. Weapon:She doesn't use a sword or anything sharp. She uses either her fists, whatever at arms' reach, or on occasion her own, special made brass knuckles. They aren't made of brass though, so they're more like steel knuckles. Using an engraving kit, she has covered them in strange, spiraling designs.Internal FeaturesRelationship status:Single Personality: Most people who are in the business of protecting a building or person hide their true personality. They put on a bad a** mask to be more reassuring to their client. Chris, however, acts herself. It's part of her nature. She is sarcastic, bluntly honest, and a little self centered. Although, she won't admit that last one. When she is talking to people, she sometimes has a hard time keeping interested in what they are saying. To her, it just isn't as important as her own thoughts. She also has a tendency to speak her thoughts, but tries to cover up the rudeness with sarcasm, making sound like a joke. Because her interests are usually elsewhere, she doesn't normally hear a lot of gossip or rumors. Even when she does hear one or two, she finds it hard to believe them. If she wasn't there, she doesn't know if it is true or not. History: Chris was born just inland of Port Cinders, to a family that most would yawn at. Her mother was, of course, a stay at home parent and her dad was a sailor of some sort. Nothing interesting about that, and it didn't take Chris too long herself to realize that where she lived had to be one of the least interesting places available. She almost wanted to go with her dad when he would head out to sea, just to have a change of scenery. He wouldn't let her, of course. She was his daughter and he didn't want her to get hurt on the voyages, or at least that was what he told her. She didn't find out until years later, after her mother and her found out his ship had been sunk, what her dad really did. Sure, sailor was one word for what he was, pirate was a much closer description. He didn't act like the stereotypical pirate, nor did he dress like one when he was on land, but it was what he did. Those voyages he would take was him and the crew he was with hunting down merchant ships, until they attacked one that was much more armed then they were. It was sad that they had to find out from his death, but life went on, albeit shakily at first. Looking back on it now, she really couldn't understand how they thought that he was the only honest sailor around.
She was in her early teens when her mother decided to move them into Port Cinders. For what reason, Chris never really found out. But, it was a wonderful change of scenery. The port had a vaster amount of different people and they intrigued her for a while. She never realized, also, that she had been a rather spoiled child. When they moved, she was allowed to have whatever she wanted. Clothes especially interested her at that age. She loved all the different colors of clothes, the different styles. It wasn't until she was sixteen did she start to focus more on a certain style. Instead of dresses and such, which her mother wanted more than anything, she took to more revealing or formfitting clothes. She had also taken to fighting. When they had been out in the boring outskirts, there had been nothing to do or anybody to talk to. But now, she found people to talk to all over the place, but there were those who would be rude to her or act inappropriate around her, and she would lash out at them violently. Her mother quickly grew tired of her coming home bloody. There were arguments, yelling, name calling, and all of it led to her leaving her home. That was three years ago now, and she still hasn't spoken to that woman and won't any time soon.
It took her a few days after being homeless to figure out a way to make some money. She could fight well, and there were fights here and there that bets were placed on. Once she had put two and two together, she started fighting for money, eventually to the point where she was able to put herself up in an Inn. For the next year or so, she fought all around the port, moving from Inn to Inn, that was until she moved in across from a tavern. It had opened a few years earlier, and she thought that maybe there was a job there for her. From that day on, she was paid a much more steady wage to protect the place from people who got too loud or unpleasant. She heard about the war that had sparked between Kes'sarria and Wistera from the men who came in. On occasion, she had the urge to maybe join in on the battle, but she doesn't know which side would be best to join or if she would be able to. More importantly though, she didn't know if she wanted to risk her life for some other person's county and glory. This profile is approved!

"The name is Haine. And I'm a treasure hunter." Always start with the B•A•S•I•C•S I go by: Rosaline Haine Korr I have this many candles in my cake: Nineteen Genetics gave me these parts: Female This is where I live: Hysu'lae This is who I am: Rogue How far I've come: Starter Tier What I do for a living: Most of her money she makes off of treasure hunting by venturing into native lands (usually with a hired/volunteered hand or two), but she also works as a errand runner for Isabelle herself. Of course, her errands usually consist of small, unimportant tasks such as finding misplaced objects or getting groceries. My personal beliefs: ---And then move on to my L•O•O•K•S I'm vertically challenged: 5 foot 2 inches My flowing locks are of this color: A rich brunette Can you see into my eyes?: Dark brown This is how I usually appear: Haine takes pride in her long, flowing locks of hair, but at the same time is constantly annoyed with the various strands that fall in her face. Thus, she more often than not wears her hair pulled back, usually in pigtails but sometimes in a ponytail. Because of her fair complexion, Haine burns easily, though she’s gotten used to the sun in Hysu’lae by now. Because of the nice breezy weather, the rogue is often found wearing a tank top with bright colors or designs, khaki shorts that are too short (but long enough to keep her butt out of sight), and boots usually meant more for hiking and adventuring than walking around the ports. She’s also more often than not found wearing a cream colored cloak, which she used to wear to keep herself from burning, but not mostly wears because she would feel naked without it. It’s also helpful when the weather gets a little cold. And these are my partners in crime: Daggers, made with a smaller grip for her tiny hands. And only after that do you get to see inside my H•E•A•R•T He loves me, he loves me not: Single Want to know what I'm like?: Charming. By charming, one is not to think of the seductiveness of a woman, the innocence of a child, or the smile of a true gentleman. What Haine possesses is the true charm of a con-artist. She has the warm smile that pulls a customer in, the sweet talk that captures them, and the face of a true listener as she steals the information she needs while acting cool and collected. Although she rarely uses this talent for anything other than possible hidden treasure locations, she is fully aware of her capabilities and how they could be used.
A liar. Haine lies through her teeth. Constantly. Sometimes she lies to gain information, sometimes because she doesn't trust the person she's talking to, and other times to simply make excuses for her mistakes. On the edge of becoming a compulsive liar, Haine has realized her problem and is now trying to make up for it. Though unfortunately, she doesn't spend too much time around anyone person to develop a deep sense of trust.
Outgoing. Part of being a con-artist is about having the guts to confront people in the first place. Although Haine isn't necessarily a con-artist, or at least hasn't acted as one recently, she still has the ability to confront strangers, make new temporary friends, or find someone for hire to drag along with her on one of her adventures outside of the city walls. Haine is also more than willing to lend a hand, sometimes almost gullibly.
Adventurous. Of course, a treasure hunter would have to be adventurous to be willing to look for the hidden goods. Haine loves exploring unknown territories, and has taken up the hobby of mapping out new places when she visits. Often, she'll visit a territory where rumors of buried treasure lead to, map out the area, then follow the rumors and maps to find the exact location. Along with her adventuring, the girl is also not above getting "down and dirty" and fighting with either other competing treasure hunters or natives protecting the area.
Honorable. How is it that a lowly rogue could come close to being considered honorable? Haine follows a personal code of honor (that she was taught by her father) which she follows to the syllable. The rogue never picks a fight, never attacks the helpless, and only steals from those who are rich and deserving to be robbed of. Although she's not one to necessarily keep her word, since she's usually lying, she'll keep her promises and oaths, sometimes to the extreme.
Easily flustered.Although her con-artist persona is always a calm-and-collected character, Haine in reality is easily flustered in social situations. She's constantly lying, trying to make up for it, and then confusing the person she's talking to when she gives too many versions of the same story. Haine can also be very forgetful, leaving behind necessities when she goes for a trip and freaking out afterwards. If writing is ever to be found on her hand (or arm, leg, stomach, or anywhere she could reach), it most likely is a reminder for the girl's poor memory.
My life story in a nutshell: Our story begins in a not so traditional setting located in Wistera. There lived a bachelor of a merchant. He was a tall man in his thirties and of a big build and a whiskered face, who probably could have been mistaken for a laborer. This man was falling on some hard times, with his wife having passed away not too long ago, and his business hitting some dead ends. His plan was to skip town once he got the money to do so, and possibly find work out on the open sea. It was one night while he was still forming his run-away plan that he came across a "companion home" which is often referred to as a whore house. Though the man missed his wife terribly and had considered staying away from women until he was able to rethink things, the man felt himself drawn in.
The woman he spent the night with was a small little thing, with long, blonde locks of hair framing her bosom and eyes as big and blue as the sea itself. It was his time with her that let him forget about life for just a night, yet changed his life forever. For you see, the woman, shortly after her time with the man, became ill. After visiting the doctor, it was found out she was experiencing morning sickness, which was brought on from pregnancy. After a few more tests, the newborn child was traced back to the middle-aged man.
Unfortunately, the whore house did not have the funds for an abortion, nor did the man. However, since his deceased wife had left behind no children, the man agreed to take the child in once he or she was old enough to live off of his or her mother's milk. The man and woman came across a mutual negotiation, and the female child was born nine months later.
After the child took the man's surname of Korr, the mother named her daughter Rosaline Haine. The man was only told the name a time or two, and could never remember whether the middle name was pronounced with a long or short 'a'. But one thing was for sure: for a daughter he was going to bring with him to sea one day, the name Rosaline was much too feminine. And so once the child reached one years old and began to live with her father, she went by the name of Haine (Hay-nn).
It was here that Haine spent the next ten years of her life. Though her father adored her dearly, he was quite ashamed of how she came about, and so never told her about her actual mother, but instead of his old wife. Luckily Haine had been given his eye and hair color, and so she never questioned him. The father and daughter worked the merchant's life together until they had saved up enough money to go traveling. It was during the traveling years that Haine has some of her best memories. She loved the time she spent with her father, learning about his code of honor, mapping out the lands of the different countries, and learning the ins and outs of both making a living as a true man and as a con-artist. It was also this time that Haine became a lover of treasure hunting, even starting some of her own expeditions with hired hands without her dad.
It was around the time Haine turned seventeen that the middle-aged man was finally able to live his dream of being out at sea. Haine's father was hired to replace seamen on Isabelle's ship who had 'misbehaved' as it was said. Although Haine wasn't allowed to be part of the offical crew, she was given the job of the cook's assistant, and found herself both loyal to her captain and enjoying the adventure of being part of a 'team'.
However, happiness was not to stay forever. When Isabelle decided to take over Hysu'lae, the beseeching was thought to have been quick and painless. However, among the very few causalities that came about was the death of Haine's father. Grief stricken, Haine decided to stay in Hysu'lae and serve her captain, who although she was completely loyal to, barely even knew her name. This profile is approved!

Standing at a gracious five feet, six inches she falls just one inch above average.h a i r . c o l o r :: Her hair is the color of freshly turned autumn leaves and tree sap just as it drips down the bark of a tree. It is a beautiful shade of deep strawberry blond a color so close to being red that it almost resembles that of an early setting sun.ε y ε . c o l o r :: Her eyes are the deep purple of freshly bloomed wild flowers with bursts of blue and gold here and there. o v ε r a l l . a p p ε a r a n c ε :: Her smiles are infectious, dimpled cheeks causing warm spots to burst all over your heart. You can feel it growing in you the rosier her cheeks get. There's this air about her that often causes a few long stares from strangers. But she never returns them; preferring to keep her eyes on the ground below her. She's a little awkward on her feet and it shows it the tiny scars that are spread about her body. Each one comes with its very own story and if you ask nicely enough, maybe just maybe she'll tell you one. Other than that theres no way of knowing how shapely, scarred, and lovely her legs are. The skirts that she often wears range in colors that are meant to bring out every hue that makes her who she is. They often sweep the ground only giving short glances of the flats she wears underneath. Her upper body is that of an acrobat: lean, agile, and yet noticeably feminine. She has curves and the Goddess has blessed her with a very well balanced figure. Though she never shows much skin except for her always bare shoulders. Like her skirts, her tops are usually long sleeved no matter the weather. Often she makes them from breathable material so she's not too bothered by the sun. Her hair falls past her waist in thick romance curls. She keeps them tied up onto her head in a half bun while splitting the rest into two braids that she often plays with. If you're lucky to catch her out at night, you'll notice that the only time she ever lets her hair down is when the moon is clearly visible and the night air is cool against the skin.ω ε a p o n :: Like most of those who lead the life of a healer, Violet has a set of scrolls and her own book of personal spells. She also carries with her a rod that she holds belted at her side. Then, maybe, below the bile and bitterness, I'll reach the core of you and ring it as bright as childhood.
☁______________________________☂ r ε l a т i o n s h i p . s т a т υ s :: As unbelievable as it may seem, I am indeed a widower. My husband Usna was one of the many soldiers killed during this war. He was called to service the day after we'd returned from celebrating our three year anniversary. Every day after he'd gone into the battlefield I would wait for news of his well being. At first he would write me letters as often as he could telling me of the things he'd seen. His letters told of how terribly those soldiers died fighting for their country. Often when I lay in bed at night, I can picture their families grieving the loss of a daughter or son. I'd pray to the Earth itself that Usna would return to me. But soon his letters stopped coming. My heart grew heavy with fear that he wouldn't return. And on the third week after his letters had ceased I heard a knock on the door. Happily I ran towards the front door expecting that it be Rosengale, the mail woman. It wasn't she whom I met at the door... Two soldiers stood before me with my husbands uniform folded neatly in their hands. But it wasn't the uniform that had gotten to me. It was the necklace that I'd given him, just a few months before on our anniversary strewn across the top of it all. With both the uniform and the necklace held tightly against my chest, I collapsed to the floor and cried; breathing in the scent of him. p ε r s o n a l i т y :: If there was simply one word to describe Una it would be understanding. She has learned that everything happens for a reason and prefers to see things from both sides before she makes a judgment for or against someone. Her friends come from all walks of life. Thieves, murderers, priests, doctors, school teachers, outcasts, etc. She accepts people for who they are and believes that everyone is innocent until proven guilty. All she asks is that no one treat her lack of sight as a disability. She just wants to be treated as normally as anyone else. People often describe her as a sweet girl who is always willing to help. She likes to surround herself with interesting people and gets along far better with men than women. Simply because she finds women more intimidating. But even though Una seems very much content with the life she lives now she still wishes to regain her vision someday. Those same men who befriend her often take advantage of her. As much as she hates to admit it, Una does indeed need some looking after. She'll never admit it out loud though because she feels as if saying it would be like betraying herself. Insecurity: learn it, know it, feel it every time you walk past her. She cries when she feels threatened and often stares off into space as if she, like a newborn, can see angels floating about in the air before her. She's also like a cat: Curious, mysterious, and constantly touching things. Her hands move at their own accord. She likes to touch people when she needs comfort and also when she wants to get a better idea of their character. You can learn a lot just from holding someones hand or touching their face if you know what you're looking for.h i s т o r y :: Una's family is a great mix of cultures. Her father was a pure blooded Wisterian who made his living as a traveling merchant. His constant moves brought him to the city of Lue'er in Kes'sarria and that is how he wound up meeting Azure, Una's mother. She was practicing a performance with the rest of her troupe for Azure was an acrobat and dancer. Una's father bumped into her when he walked past while she was attempting to plié. Azure then proceeded to slip and since Omid, Una's father, was so close he caught her just before she hit the ground. Turning her in his arms so that he could see her face, Omid was taken aback by her beautiful lilac eyes. They were frozen like that for a few moments and then Azure pushed away from Omid, calling him a pervert for staring at her that way. She slapped him and rushed off towards her friends. It wasn't love at first sight for Azure. But after having Omid attempt at courting her for so long, she finally gave in. That was the beginning of their romance and several years later, Una was born.
She had her fathers shining hair but everything else was of her mother's lineage. From the paleness of her skin to the shape of her lips. But it seemed that genetics couldn't quite figure out what color to make her eyes. In the end, she wound up with her mother's deep lilac and her fathers blue and gold in specs. Her eyes look as if a wild flower was blooming within them. But sometimes beauty has its back draws. With her eyes swimming with their tricolor, Una only had her sight for a nine years before she began to lose her sight. By the time she was eleven years old, Una was completely blind. But with the loss of her sight her senses enhanced in other ways. Her father often let her sit with him while he studied his scrolls. One day while Omid was mixing up another one of his potions for a neighbor he thought it would be a good idea to show Una a few tricks of the trade. What he hadn't realized was the fact that Una herself was gifted in the art of healing. Without him even asking, Una had passed him an herb that he'd been missing. That was the day that he decided to teach her even more about healing. He taught her to use her sense of smell to recognize certain herbs and use her hands to feel the writing on each of her scrolls. Ever since she'd lost her sight, Una felt inadequate and a burden to her family. But once she found her true calling in healing she was so proud of herself. She felt that she could finally do something other than be treated like she was completely disabled.
By the time Una was around the age of seventeen, her parents decided that it was time they moved on. Her father's merchandise wasn't selling as well in Wistera as it was in Kes'sarria. So her family packed up and moved to her fathers native city. He started a small corner store where he sold everything from bath soap to hair growth treatment and finally business started to pick up. Una worked there for quite some time simply cleaning and running errands until her father introduced her to Usna. They were so different in personalities and yet so much alike. They complimented each other on so many levels. Usna has been known to be a man of great aggression and with Una being so calm and fragile at heart he had to learn to become a softer man if he wanted to keep her at his side. But just as Una had taught him to be more gentle, he had taught her to be a little more assertive so that she wouldn't be taken advantage of so easily. It was only a matter of time before the two were married. And it was three years later that Usna was killed in the line of battle. Secretly, Una blames herself for not being strong enough to go with him and help. She believes that if she was there he would still be alive. Now that he's gone Una has had to relearn to live on her own. But as her father always told her as a child: "Strong people are not simply born. They earn their strength through difficult experience." Una is definitely one hell of a strong woman. This profile is approved (via Lex.First one, wooo)

___» » _ Alabaster Norel___xx___xx pass me an id card » basic characteristics name ... Stern / Slave 103 / Alabaster Norel age ... 18 gender ... male nationality ... Hysu'laen class ... Performer level ... Starting Tier occupation ... Former galley slave religion ... --- ___xx___xx straight onto the coroner's report » external features height ... 175 cm hair color ... blonde-orange eye color ... blue overall appearance ... Stern is a curious fellow in appearance. He has a shock of spikey, orange hair that grows back eventually no matter how many times people try to shave it off. He also has rather defiant looking eyes - not piercing as such, more rebellious. He is rather tall but not exceptionally, and all that rowing (that's what galley slaves do, you know) has left him rather muscular. But that in turn was tempered by the lack of food. As a slave, he went around bare-chested, not because they couldn't be bothered buying him a shirt but because they wanted to display his slave tattoos to the world. These tattoos show that he is an indentured slave and has no right to any of the facilities that free men are given. Nowadays he wears a sleeveless shift top to cover these tattoos as well as long loose fighting pants. He has no need for flashy decorations or armour. weapon ... There is a strange irony in Stern's choice of weaponry. Despite the atrocities that he often associates with this weapon., he carries with him a whip. It is four feet long with a handle of steel that has a dragon carved into it. He stole it off the captain of the Merriflower after he killed him. ___xx___xx only in the mind » internal features relationship status ... single personality ... Stern doesn't trust people - and doesn't open up easily. However he is still able to act like a joker as he did when he was a child and generally has an easy relaxed grin on his face that puts people at ease. He is interested foremost in surviving. After that, he just wants to do things his way and carve his own path with what he has left. He jokes around and is extremely lithe and quick moving. history ... Stern was born Alabaster Norel, the son of a fisherman. As a child, he was very bright and playful, forever bounding about and getting in the way of his father's work by disturbing the nets, or clambering around on the boat. As he was at that stage a very small child, he would often play the fool in order to avoid being picked on. No one hits a joker, was what he thought. However, when he was twelve - and almost ready to start working on his own as it were, there was a storm, which destroyed all the boats and robbed the family of its livelihood. In desperation, his father borrowed a lot of money from the local 'bad men' - or so Alabaster's mother called them when explaining to Alabaster why his father was so upset. In the end, his father couldn't repay the debt and the 'bad men' came to collect. They took, as payment, the fisherman's only son: Alabaster. He was sold as a galley slave at the age of thirteen.
Once on the ship, the boy forfeited any right to his name and became known only as Slave 103. Eventually - once he had all but lost his former identity - he was renamed Stern, after both the back of the ship and a combination of his past name (Alabaster Norel). He was often forced to row for days on end without rest, and was whipped if they thought he was slowing down. He was occasionally moved to different ships, before at last ending up on a chip called the Merriflower - whose captain was as cruel and sadistic as they come. Stern's rowing partner, whom he sat next to, was a girl of around ten years of age. They never talked and barely knew each other. One day, when he had just (by his reckoning) turned eighteen, the captain came down into the galley in a particularly foul mood. He picked up a whip and began to yell at the slaves. The girl - whose slave name was Lacey - began to cry. The captain came up to her and disconnected her from the chain with a blow before whipping her. Before he knew what he was doing, Stern had stood up and attacked the captain with the chain, killing him. Luckily they had been in port at the time - otherwise he would have been dead for certain. As it was, he barely made it off, fleeing into the crush of Port Cinders' crowds.
For the last four months, he has lived on his wits with no idea of where he is going with his life. He has practiced his archery skills while on the move - with no place of residence, he lives mostly in abandoned houses in the slums. But now he has a plan... for despite the notice for his arrest, despite the reward, there are far bigger rewards out there... in the form of treasure. This profile is approved!
