adjective is like Nice or something, right?
I think it only changes if it's singular or plural.. smile
and if it's used as an adverb, it changes too..

Oh, okay smile Yay, none of the crazy stuff from German, phew!

Could you please tell me if this should be 'ei', or something else?
"Minulla on myös omena, mutta se on ei oranssi... se on punainen."
Heck, I have no idea if that's right... Also, should myös be at that point in the phrase?

You mean to say: "I also have an apple, but it's not orange.. it's red."
right?
"Minulla on myös omena, mutta (se) ei ole oranssi... (se) on punainen."
I'm not sure in what case the word 'omena' should be. It might be that it's 'omenaa' or something else..
positive: on (is)
negative: ei ole (is not)
And se (the/it) is often not said by finnish people. For example you could also say:
minulla on myös omena, mutta se ei ole oranssi... on punainen.

Yup, that's what I meant to say.
Kiitos! So 'is not' is 'ei ole'... I'll note that. Does the verb then just get all of the confusing case stuff at the end left out? Like saying "she does not speak" is 'ei puhu' and not 'ei puhuu'?

Would omena be omenaa because it's the object (thing that verb is happening to)? I'll have to remember that rule...

Sorry if I'm being confusing!

I am not = en ole
you are not = et ole
he/she/it is not = ei ole

I think it's like this:
I-case => olen
(you are = olet)
(he is = on)
(we are = olemme)
(you are = olette)
(they are = ovat)

negative: ei ole
I => puhun
negative: ei puhu

yeah.. that might be, but I'm not so sure about that anymore..
and it doesn't always work that way.. That's the confusing part.. confused

Oh Finnish, you fiendish language you!
Although there is nothing as wonderful as hearing a language and realising you know what they're saying, no matter how small the amount that you understand biggrin

So, what useful things are there to say about The Rasmus?
