I know that there's already a Finnish words thread, but seeing as it doesn't really go into grammar and actual sentences, I thought perhaps this would be alright.
I have only just started learning Finnish (despite having wanted to learn it for a looooong time!) and it's hard to find people to practise with that might be around the same skill level. I propose that in this thread we can practise Finnish and discuss the language to help each other out.
To get the ball rolling (with the only phrases I know, haha...)
Minun nimeni on Luana. Olen kuusitoista vuotta vanha. Minä rakastan The Rasmus!
(I'm not sure if that last sentence makes sense, lol...)
Go forth and conquer in a decidedly Finnish way!

Tää on aika kiva idea! Mun suomea ei oo tosi hyvä, muttä mä yrritän ja se olisi mukava, puhua suomea täällä.
En tiiä voimmeko oikeasti oppia jotain täällä, jos vain ulkomalaiset tulevat tanne. Sitten oppia toisiaan virheet.
Jos katsot mitä mä olen kirjoittanut.. XD
This is quite a nice idea! My finnish isn't that good, but I try and it would be nice to talk finnish here.
I don't know if we could actually learn something here, if only foreigners come here. We learn each other's mistakes then.

Cloudstar, come practise/butcher Finnish with me, heehee... Oops, I should be practising for my German test tomorrow...
Minä puhun englantia, saksa ja vähän suomea... my new phrase to try to learn, geh! Minä olen Uusi-Seelantilainen - does that make sense?

Uhuh, oikeasti on mahtava! valitettavasti mun vuosi on melkein loppu, mä meen takaisin Hollantiin ihan kohta, kahden viikon aika. ='(
Toivottavasti mä pääsen The Rasmuskonserttiin ennen mä lähden.
mä (minä) puhun hollantia, englantia, vähän saksa ja vähän suomea =D

Uhuh, it's really awesome! Too bad my year is almost over, I go back to the Netherlands very soon, in two weeks time. ='(

Oh, you are so lucky to be in Finland! I want to go on an exchange to Finland, but it's soooo expensive - and for a whole year, I'd be very homesick...
Every time I can't think of what to say in Finnish, I end up saying it in German. Gah!

Ehka yks vuotta sitten vielä, mä osain ranska ihan hyvin. Nyt melkein ihan kaikki on pois! Suomi tuli sen läpi.
Niin oli vähän kallis, viisi tuhattaa euroa! Onneksi mun vanhemmat olivat niin kiiltti että he maksaivat se mulle.. <3
mun suomi on tosi huono.. confused Kaikki sääntöjät ja muovat ovat väärin. Olisi kiva jos joku suomesta tulee tanne, jutella meidän kanssa, sitten hän voi tarkastaa tää suomi.
Maybe one year ago, I still could speak french quite well. Now almost everything is gone! Finnish came in stead of it.
It was a bit expensive, 5000euros! Luckily my parents were so nice to pay it for me.. <3
my finnish is so bad.. confused All the grammar and forms are wrong. It would be nice if somebody from finland would come here, to talk with us, then he/she could check/correct this finnish..

Like, if it's subject/object etc?

adjective is like Nice or something, right?
I think it only changes if it's singular or plural.. smile
and if it's used as an adverb, it changes too..
