There is deffantly a point where loud is too loud, but I've never been anywhere that they've played the music so loud the speakers couldn't handle it and sounded bad.

Mali88 haha, ye man, those airplane headphones are wack. i always take my DJ headphones (not a DJ yet tho blaugh ) they're great. this idea is...weird...how silly would it look if someone walked in from the outside to see like, 100 people in a club spazzin around in complete silence...just...not the club experience. but this got me thinkin. has anyone been to clubs where they turn the music up so loud, that its not like "ooh yeah, loud man" but its more like "...the speakers are crying, you can hear the distortion" i mean, loud is good, but i've found out that there's such a thing as too loud. its when the speakers catch fire 3nodding Ugh, yes. I hate that. When I went to Vampire Stripper Sluts last Halloween the sounds was turned up so loud the whole system sounded like s**t. Christopher Lawrence was spinning after Dieselboy and the bass was so loud amd ******** up they sounded almost the same. I was sad. sad And angered. mad The headphones looked similar to DJ headphones only with a little antenna sticking out of teh side.

yeah there was some shitty distortion at WEMF this year, during hatiras's set the bass was way too freaking loud, it sounded like he was playing hardstyle with funky house dubbed over it. and then during ed rush's set the bass was up so high you couldnt hear the snare drums or distinguish between the kick and bassline.

im sick of all those tryhard clubbers going "oh man, this music is way to quiet". being a freak for electronica does not imply that you want your ears blown open everytime you go clubbin!! i swear i'll shoot whoever started that stupid rumor. i bin to so many parties in jugoslavia, where they play like, turbofolk (trance with a weird folk flavour) and it sounds like metal, cause of the distortion. can anybody honestly say they're into that?? (excess distortion and interference, not metal) White Linen Ever been to am Hardcore punk show(Converge for example)? Oh my god! wassat?

It's like experimental, grind punk core. It's so loud it would make your grand-ma have an hart attack!
