earthss_darkness WOOOO!! Well, I'm Roxie and I am a knit/crochet addict. I taught myself most of the stuff I know, so OBVIOUSLY I can't knit a sock (need someone to help me with that irl most likely) BUT I AM attempting a sweater. PRAY FOR ME!! CROSS YOUR FINGERS TOO!!!!! =D Oh goodness! Good luck with your sweater!!! You must show it off to us when you finish!! Just make sure its not a 10 foot sweater... >_> I already had this discussion with someone in this thread. 10 foot sweaters = terrifying.

SilvanRaven Hi, I'm new to this group and I haven't posted anything yet. Knitting is one of my favorite past times. Just wanted to pop in and say "hi" Welcome aboard!! Glad to have you! LinnLeclear Hello~ My name is Kimberly (Or you can just stick to LinnLeClear ^^). I live in the USA and go to college. I really just started knitting in December, but have made a couple scarves and just recently finished practicing my knitting stitches into four squares and putting them together for the one side of a soon-to-be pillow. I've been struggling to find something that catches my interest, but alas, I found a skirt that I would like to try. I love challenges, and this looks something like one. (First time working with circular needles eek ) So, I look forward to showing off my stash (as small as it is) and my projects with you people and hopefully soon friends. See you all around! Knit haaaatttttssss. Sorry, I'm a hat fanatic like you wouldn't believe. I've been knitting since about December as well so I know exactly where you're coming from ;P It'll be great to have more people showing off their stash and projects! Glad to meet you and have you in our guild!! biggrin

Hello folks, you can all call me Amari. I am in my mid 20's, and I have been knitting for well over 12 years now. I took a knitting class in 4-H at about 12 yrs old and they haven't been able to stop me! I've made tons and tons of scarves, hats, and socks...socks are my current favorite thing to knit. I will have to take some pictures and post them. I'm working on getting better at knitting fingerless gloves. I have yet to knit any sweaters...though my third or fourth project right after I started knitting was a sleeveless shirt done with #1 needles. That was probably the hardest thing I have ever knitted. Knitting is an addiction, I must confess. As well as drawing, and embroidery.
Besides all that, I am a library page, and a licensed Massage therapist as well. It's nice to be a part of the guild. smile

You and SouthOfNeptune will get along great with your obsession to knit socks. My first project ever was a sock and its still not finished. >_< I have no motivation for socks. And you knit a shirt on #1 needles... I bow to your patience. Holy. Cow. Welcome aboard!!! (: Nice to see you again. I had no idea you could knit.

Hey all! Just wanted to introduce myself, I'm Jen, known as Luveday here and as knitstuff on Ravelry. Been knitting for about 5 years now, mainly scarves and hats, but have been known to venture into wristwarmers and sweaters and shawls from time to time. Am a bit older than most here, married, 2 black cats, no kids, professional cook.

Hey, I'm brinkofdestruction, but you can call me Jess. smile I'm a knitting (3 yrs) and crochet (10 yrs) freak. I'm not all that great at knitting yet, but I make up for that by pumping out two bags a week. XD I'll be posting a picture or two of them soon, hopefully.

Hiii... :3
I are Becca. Yus.
I been knitting for a while, since I was... hmm.... I don't remember. A while. But, I've been knitting... PROPERLY since about a year. Meaning, not just any size with any yarn and just knit knit knit knit knit switch knit knit knit knit woooo scarf. Yeah.
I like making arm warmers and gloves and bracelets and stuff, 'cause I ALWAYS wear them.. I never wear hats or scarves, or sweaters ... or socks... I make plushie things too sometimes.
But armwarmers are fun to make cabled things and lace and fun patterns and stuff. I always make just one. It's more fun to be asymmetrical... and I get bored of one style pretty quickly. xD
edit. oh yeah, I forgot. I really wanna learn how to crochet, but I'm not that good at following instructions, I need someone to teach me. And I don't know anyone who crochets. -.-;;

I get bored of a style really quick. Except I like hats because I actually wear them. But I knit up ridiculous hats like long stocking caps or hats with teeeeeettthhh. Yeah >_<

Hi, Orsina here! I love my knitting pattern a day calendar, even though I've only ever finished one of the patterns. I'm working on a linen stitch scarf right now. I probably won't be done for a while, as I'm supposed to keep going until I run out of yarn, the yarn ball is still as big as one and a half of my fists, and I keep getting distracted. The latest project I completed was a stuffed rabbit, which I would totally photograph and show off if it hadn't been a graduation present that I already gave. Eventually I'll get the right size needles and make some of these. I'll have been knitting three years by the start of the next school year. That's when I'll be a college sophomore.

-old cupcake- I love sharks, cupcakes, Sanrio, talking via AIM, messages.. well I just like talking : ] and welsh corgis.
Awww, you lerv corgis too? I lerv them so much I made them the official mascots of my guild! heart Well, I should introduce myself... *hem hem* My name is Willow. Yes, my [i[name is Willow. My real name. I've been knitting for almost 3 years now, but only recently started going beyond garter squares and rectangles. (iPod covers, scarves, laptop cozies... you name it!) I am a life-long veg, I love corgis, pie, and Wiis, and maybe that last one shows most right now because I'm using it instead of the Mac in the other room. Speaking of "other"s, my favorite book is Coraline, by Neil Gaiman. (you'll have to read the book to get the "other" comment there. ;D) I also love a movie he worked on, Mirrormask. I love drawing a lot too, and I'm best at just drawing things I see, which apparently is very hard for other people because they're all amazed at the doodles I whip out of my sketch book. I rescued a corgi--quite literally rescued, I didn't get him at a shelter--who is intently licking my foot right now. Ah, corgis... they'll lick anything you put in front of them. I very recently started a knitting guild of my own, called Sit 'n Knit after the books, Stitch 'n b***h. I am working on a Sally doll (from the Nightmare Before Christmas) for my friend right now using my own pattern, and I've finished 3 limbs and am working on a fourth. .... I would keep talking right now, but I've already said a lot. Read my profile for more, but it's mostly just this.

So wow, I'm the newest member... since 2008 it seems? I wonder if this guild is active anymore? If not I'll certainly try to make it active again! ;D
Well I'm Chris (short for Christina). I adore knitting and crocheting and learning new skills in the art of anything to do with the skill haha. Umm I'll be going to college to learn to do a lot with making my own yarn and dying it and stuff because I plan to open a shop someday in the future. and I'm here because I want to meet others with the same interests and see what you all can do! :]
