Jisen Meizuki Izu_Reia But in the movie they had his fight with Seichiro first. So does the manga. Clamp had Subaru fought with Seishirou for his wish, but Seishirou let him go. So all we know in the manga is Subaru's a traitor to Seals and still alive. However, I believe that Subaru is dead inside himself since a) Seishirou is dead, b) his wish is not granted, and c) he had no one to protect, thus his kekkai is broken and no reason for him to stay with the Seals since he isn't interesting about the world. So I guess you could say that Subaru is now an empty shell or a shadow left behind. Yes and that makes me sad since he's my favorite character. crying What I meant by the fight quote is that they just left it at in the movie, there wasn't any more elaberation on that. Although I did like the Coke advertisements. xd

Personally, I thought the movie sucked. The series was WAAAAAAAAAAAY better.

mystical_elfgirl12 I agree the movie is really bad because they do in the movie is inacurrate for one thing his mother doesnt give birth to the sacred sword it was his aunt. also they say subaru's last name wrong how hard can it be to say sumeragi not kumeragi lol also karen kasumi isnt a stripper she works at a massage parlor called flower. they left out kakyo a dreamseere for the dragon of the earth. what made me mad is that they killed subaru in the movie within five minutes i like subaru how dare they. I cant think of anything else to say lol. but I will say this the anime series and manga are awesome very well done. not to mention the fact that they mispronounce kiotari. it's kiotari, not kotari. sad

Akiyhrah Personally, I thought the movie sucked. The series was WAAAAAAAAAAAY better. The movie was a boring piece of crap (Thank goodness Mystical will not show me that again!!!) I like the series, though.

I hadn't seen the movie until yesterday and I didn't like it, I prefer the anime definitively, in the movie the characters change a lot and some important characters don't appear, in my opinion the film is so boring xp maybe I won't see it again

It's okay to watch when you got nothing else but typically if you're looking for juicy-ness, the movie isn't going to do much for ya along plot lines and all.

I like both versions: The Manga and The Anime.

The Manga 'cause the drawings are so cool and the story is a little bit longer. But it's bad that the last 2 Manga hadn't comming out yet in Germany crying I wanna read the end.

Nanao-A I think you'd be hard pressed to find anyone that likes the movie over the anime. lol, I only appreciated the movie til after the anime was made...beast girl whatever her name was was soo cute in the movie, and so was yuzuriha, but then again she's cute in the anime

THE ANIME KICKS THE MOVIE'S BUTT. Okay, so I haven't seen it all the way through, but as several people have said, character development is much better. After all, how much of a storyline can you stuff into 100 minutes? Not much, as the third Spider-Man movie proves. It looks kick-a**, but if given a longer running time (say, three weeks or more? xd ) the story has a much better chance of not only introducing more issues and characters, which are great in a story this complex, but tying up any loose ends, which is even better.
The one good thing I can say about the movie (aside from Forever Love) is that Kamui lives. Not much else, really...

yeaaaah... I agree with everyone else. I think it'd be well-nigh impossible to find anyone who prefers the movie, without them really.. disliking the core of the X plot.
(and the manga does win. except for the fact that it's... you know. still unfinished. :/)
