((Alright man, you hit twice. Now you would roll your damage, however this is enough to kill it so don't bother for now.))
The crustation's shell shattered with a sickening crack, and fell to the ground. Quickly after, small robots rushed to the scene and gathered up the glowing green meat, and wisked it away.
A small, old man stood up from behind a torn house foundation, and took a good long look at the man. His bright eyes evaluating the man, and looking most sharply at the tail.
"Well stranger," he said in a crisp professional voice "I don't belive i have seen you here before. However i can tell you have wasted no time in killing some of the local wildlife. So then stranger, tell me about yourself. And mabye you won't die from that nasty little muation of yours."

The man walked over to his Axe, picked it up, and tied it to his back. He faced the man. "I am Leo Montero. I've come to look for my brothers killer, as everyone from my town came here after it was hit by a toxic storm. I'm here for vengeance, and a way to stop my slow mutation. I'm also searching for the Frozen Flame. May I ask your name?" Leo says, Licking the thick fur that recently sprouted from his right hand.

*Adjusted the scope of his sniper rifle with his claw-like hand, and examined the old man and mutant from the top of a barren building far away from their position.*

*Zoomed in on the two, still remaining motionless and hidden*
From the looks of it....a cyborg and a muntant conversing...? Odd...where could this be headed I wonder...
*Valente's voice was soft and ominous. He would occasionaly check his surroundings to avoid detection by animal, or otherwise.*

((Nope, not yet. That was a fairly weak mutant.))
"All in due time, all in due time my lad." he said stroking his long beard.
"First thing is first, we must see about getting you a place to stay. Even if i tell you that sort of thing, it won't matter in the slightest if you are dead! Now come, follow me. I happen to know the perfect little place for a mutant such as yourself to stay."
He turned to enter the city limits, saying,
"If this is your first time coming into the city, i would be careful not to offend anybody. You never know about who might be watching, or who they may be connected to."

Damn...I'd better make myself scarce after this...

Runs after the man, not noticing the centipede, Leo smiles, but deep down he is nervous. His ears bounce up and down. ((Making a listen check to see if i detect the centipede.)) He runs on, following the man, not even noticing the gun shot. Boy does he look stupid and naive from Valente's position.

*Valente watched as the head-shot centipede was propelled back by the force of the shot. It ceased movement, and lied there. Dead.*
Eh...looks like it's time to get out of here....this place will be crawling with things in no time...

"So mister... would you be able to tell me anything about the Frozen Flame?" He said, slowing down to a walk. trotting behind the old man, he follows with a smile. He suddenly stops, Holding his tail, aghast. "I... have a tail now...?" He looks like he looks like he is going to have a conniption, but he walks on, cradling his tail.

I wonder if they noticed....it doesn't seem as if I've sounded any alarms yet....
*Valente was scaling the outskirts of the city walls, keeping his katana out and slicing anything in his path*
Let's see...I'm sure there must be some supplies I could use around here...

"Interesting" sol muttered as he watched a couple of strange bird like creatures, apparently dancing, on the roof of a nearby building. Suddenly he heard voices approaching and he ducked back into the shadows, watching as an old man and an embarrassed looking mutant stroll by. " ah master shorn it is just you" he said, stepping out into the open " I thought you had left the city, and who is this fellow with you this fine day?" he asked cheerfully.

"I am sorry, do i know you? I must, concidering i recognize that voice from somewhere. Let me see," he reached his hand to touch the boy's arm.
Pulling back with a slight jolt, he quickly opened his arms and shouted in exitement,
"Sol my lad! I didn't recognize you with that mask on your face, my how you've grown! Come, come i will tell you of this guest momentarily."
Turning to Leo he said, "I will also likewise introduce this fine young man to you when we get to my workshop."
Spinning back to Sol he said "My lad, you must come to the shop with me. Granny Elinwood is terrified that you died, and you must show the old crone you are still alive."

"of course" Sol said with a nod "we mustn't keep her waiting she does get rather worried, and it would be nice to get inside before it begins to rain" he continued with a glance up at the gathering clouds in the sky "lead the way" Sol said bringing his attention back to the topic at hand
