Izuzu's body stiffened as she felt something touch her. She relaxed slightly as she peered out from under the cloth and stared at the other mouse with her tear stained face. Peeking her head out a little bit more, she let the piece of cloth slide off of her head and down to her shoulders.
Every single drop of rain made her heart break. Her small paws shot out from under the cloth and clung to his long sleeve, "Please. Make the rain stop."

Toushiro looked to see his sleeve being tugged on by her. 'thank goodness this was her' he thought. He wished he could make her happy but he couldn't stop the rain. He stroked the fur upon her face as he tried to calm her nerves. He could still hear the rain's pitter patter like annoying mouse babies.
"I'm sorry. i cannot stop the rain." He said softly to her.

Izuzu whimpered like a mere child and curled into a small ball as her ears twitche every now and them. How she loathed the rain. It was horriying, disgusting, wet, cold, and it hurt. Every drop was like a knife through her heart.

Toushiro just waited it out. he didn't despise rain but he just liked snow better. He wrapped his arms around the girl in a hug sort of way. He closed his eyes as the rain seemed to lighten up. He could barely hear the sound of it anymore. He looked over to the girl shinigami. "I never caught your name, miss." He said softly to the female shinigami.

Izuzu slowly crawled out from under the piece of cloth and seemed to lean away from the other mouse as if she was afraid of him. She let his words sink in for a bit before replying quietly, "Izuzu. Kazejuri Izuzu."
She pulled the piece of cloth down to her lap and looekd around aimlessly as if she were searching for something. Wiping at her eyes, she sniffled a bit before pulling her knees up close to her chest.

Toushiro whispered her name, "Izuzu" to himself. He snuggled her closely with his nose. He would normally never do something like this but he wanted her to open up to him. and he couldn't get close to them unless he opens up and welcomes them in.
"I think the rain has stopped falling." He said in his normally dis-satisfied tone. He pulled the blanket back up to her shoulders and stood up to walk away. He put his paws in his sleeves as he walked slowly towards the exit of the barn.

Izuzu watched him walk away and suddenly said something she would normally never say, "What? I tell you my name, but you don't tell me yours?" She clamped her mouth shut and stared down at the ground.
Slowly getting up, she glided after him so thatshe was only a few feet behind him. She would silently follow him eerily until he asked her the fated words.

He stopped dead in his tracks. He turned his head back and showed a grin on his face. "Toushiro. Hitsugaya Toushiro." He said, using her format of introducing one self. He turned back around and began to walk once more, to get out the the barn.

Izuzu's eybrows knitted together slightly before she continued to follow after him silently. She adjusted her kimono and looked around aimlessly, wondering where...Toushiro was going to go.
Izuzu seemed to literally glide along the ground as her footsteps could barely be heard. She seemed to move with elegance and grace with a touch of eerie-ness.
This Toushiro mouse was a rather interesting mouse indeed. Maybe he would know.

Toushiro could feel that Izuzu was following him. He walked over to the river, right near the bank. He looked to see some steady looking stones a little bit under the water, only about two or three millimeters off the top of the water. He looked back to Izuzu to see if she was okay. Then he skipped on top of the stones. He stopped in the center to see if Izuzu would follow.

Izuzu cocked her head to one side and watched as Toushiro used the stones as a means to stay dry. She took a few steps forward and stopped at the edge of the river. She searched her reflection for answers before bending over slightly. She grasped the hem of her silky black kimono with her dainty paws and pulled it up a few inches below her waist.
Rather than walking on the stones, she went directly into the water. It was a tad chilly, but to Izuzu, it was refreshingly brisk. Invigorating even.
she stopped and glanced up, waiting for Toushiro to make his move.

He reached his paws out to Izuzu as he bent his knees trying to get Izuzu out of the freezing water. "Come on, get out of the water, you'll catch cold." He said to her in his not happy-ish tone of voice. He blushed softly looking away a little. "not because i'm worried about you or anything" he retorted to her.

Izuzu stared at Toushiro awkwardly, then down at his extended paws. "Catching a cold...is nothing." She then replied quietly to his secound remark, "Then why...?" Izuzu found it utterly...frivolous to tell someone to get out of cold water because they might get sick and then saying it wasn't because they were actually worried about them.
Grasping as much of her kimono in her right paw, she reached out with and grabbed Toushiro's paw. Hoisting herself up, she hopped back onto dry land and let her kimono skirt drop back down.

Toushiro smiled as she had gotten onto dry land. "Well, maybe a little worried. He said crossing his arms across his chest, signaling that he was building a wall before himself from any wrong thoughts that he was compassionate about this girl. He shoved his hands back into his sleeves and began to walk along the human trail that was made...

Izuzu took in a breath as she glided after toushiro quickly, walking a little closer to him this time. She stepped to her right so thatshe could get a semi-good view of his face at an awkward angle before asking in a hushed tone, "...really?"
