Nikui Feeling eyes on him, he glanced over towards the other, charcoal orbs giving off a light glint. He grinned once more, "Something the matter?" He questioned gently, and lowered his paw back to the ground.

Dr. Zeon "Oh, nothing." Dante replied as he glanced at the lake. "I wanted to ask you something.' replied while looking straight ahead. " Do you ever get scared of anything? Anyone?" Dante said with a straight face.

Nikui Fear? That was new. Looking the other over, he then looked towards the lake, allowing his ears to perk up, listening to everything around them. "I've felt scared of things..." He murmured, "Everyone gets scared." He chuckled, nudging the other with his paw, "So, yes. I do get scared of things, and others."

Dr. Zeon "What about words? Are you scared of words? Or things that really shouldn't scare you, but do?" He asked. He hoped he wasn't pushing the topic to much, but he wanted to know. He wanted to feel like he wasn't the only one. That the person beside felt those things as well. ((Okay. mrgreen ))

Nikui Arching a brow at him, he couldn't help but smile. "Words..? No. Threats are just that..threats, till they carry them out. I'm scared of the people who dare to carry out threats on people." He blinked, and canted his head, "A lot of people scare me--I guess." Not really scare, more like make him uncomfortable.

Dr. Zeon "Do I scare you?" Dante whispered while dreading the answer. 'I hope not.' he thought, but apart of him still doubted himself.

Nikui "No," he replied, chuckling, "You dont. You haven't threatened me, so there's no reason to be afraid of you." He brought his paw up to ruffle the other's fur atop his head, brushing one of the ears with the pad of his paw. "Hoping you dont want to threaten me."

Dr. Zeon "Why would I want to threaten you? Who would want to threaten you?" Dante asked as he giggle at the contact. 'L seems like such a nice person. Who would do that to him?' Dante thought.

Nikui "I have my quirks. Guess people dont like them," he snickered, and removed his paw, yawning a bit...baring the tips of his fangs. "Mmm..it's all good, though," he murmured, and moved to lay back down, tucking his paws beneath the fabric of his shirt once more.

Dr. Zeon Dante streched and laid down as well. He cuddled himself into a little ball to keep warm. 'Best way to keep warm at night.' he thought lazily as he gazed at the lake. "Well, I like you just the way you are." Dante yawned as he moved closer toward himself.

Nikui Nodding, he moved his front legs a bit, and rested his head down, not as curled up as the other..but he shifted to be closer to the other, feeling the warmth off the other's body. Sighing gently, he closed his ravenous irises, ears folding back against his dark hair.

Dr. Zeon Dante felt the other shift a bit, but then everything became still. He could hear the swishing of the water as it laped against the shore. He sighed in content. For some reason, he felt safe with L next to him. 'I guess it's probably because I get...' He thought. "Lonely." he mumbled.

Nikui "Mmm? lonely?" He questioned, looking to the other. He stretched one leg out behind him, before curling it back to his body, shifting his body to mold a bit better to the other's body...keeping them both warm.
