Wizzle Sadly, I had to sell my Rock Band because my roommate had the 360 and we're moving out. crying Nooooooooos!!!! That is sad... Or you could keep it and hide it somewhere and buy a 360 one day instead of maybe getting a 360 down the line and then having to buy Rock Band again. And we totally got Kristie hooked on Rock Band when she was here in Texas... So you would play with her on online (if you both had Live that is) and it would be epic... ... Sorry, just thought I would say that...

I've played it!
In my mind, it only seems like it would be fun if you played it with other people. I don't own it, mind you, but I've played it at a friend's house.
My friend bought it, and invited some people over (5), and we rocked out. It was amazing. I was stuck on vocals a lot, though, because I can actually hold a tune, and most of the people there were guys who didn't want to sing. sweatdrop Still, it was really fun! I loved drums. Though coordinating the foot pedal and your arms was challenging!

I loved Rockband!
It was amazing!
I personally like the drums because I've always wanted to play the drums and that was like fulfilling a dream of sorts.
I hate the guitar.
Adam and I are addicted and contemplating buying an Xbox 360 just so we can play it and Halo OR buying a PS3 and getting Rockband since I plan to get one eventually when the price suits my fancy.
Choices...choices...
Are the Xbox and PS3 versions basically identical w/ customizing your band, downloading extra songs via internet and such?

Queen of Faeries I loved Rockband!
It was amazing!
I personally like the drums because I've always wanted to play the drums and that was like fulfilling a dream of sorts.
I hate the guitar.

Are the Xbox and PS3 versions basically identical w/ customizing your band, downloading extra songs via internet and such? Yes, the only difference in the two packages is the fact that you get a wireless guitar with the PS3 compared to the wired one that comes with the 360... In terms of downloading, you need to have an Xbox Live account to get to the downloads (which is $50 a year, but that also covers online play and what not) and then you pay for the downloads with MS Points (which convert to same amount in dollars for the PSN)... The Playstation Network is free and you pay the downloads in dollars and not points... ... Wait... Do you have to pay to access the downloads on XBL? I know you get the demos for free... But after like 2 weeks of them being on the gold accounts... I dunno, I have always had XBL so I wouldn't be able to tell you exactly... I am fairly sure you have to have an XBL account to get the downloads for Rockband... Which is $50... I think... I know the $50 part is right at least.

Oh no, I don't think so at all. That's why it didn't come out for Wii with everything else. They want to take full advantage of what the Wii can do. So if anything, it will be better then the other versions because they spending time to make sure they get it just right for the Wii. There hasn't been any official annoucement that'll it'll be made for the Wii, but the main guy for Rock Band really likes the Wii and stuff. Oh, and the PS2 doesn't let you download new songs. Which I'm sure will be on the Wii one, since all Wiis have wireless internet readiness, which is FREE. (I hate that the Microsoft charges you for everything on their loud fat systems. xp )

I HAS ROCK BAND LOLOLOLZ.
Well, my friend Dave does and he and Lee and I are a band with all the band stuff permanently at my house. Sometimes Cara's boyfriend Issac plays too on the Guitar Hero guitar and we have 4 people, it's pretty cool. We've got a jet so far but now I have to go up to hard on the vocals and it's hard! The game is so picky past medium. Last night the game like tweaked out and we played The Beastie Boys "Sabatoge" like 4 times in a row on random playlists - it was really friggin' irritating! I like the song, but I don't like singin'/talkin' it over and over again.

Red Scully I HAS ROCK BAND LOLOLOLZ.
Well, my friend Dave does and he and Lee and I are a band with all the band stuff permanently at my house. Sometimes Cara's boyfriend Issac plays too on the Guitar Hero guitar and we have 4 people, it's pretty cool. We've got a jet so far but now I have to go up to hard on the vocals and it's hard! The game is so picky past medium. Last night the game like tweaked out and we played The Beastie Boys "Sabatoge" like 4 times in a row on random playlists - it was really friggin' irritating! I like the song, but I don't like singin'/talkin' it over and over again. Yeah, I've had to go up to hard on the drums with my band with Victoria... And while she rocks on hard usually... I pretty much can't do most of the songs... So, we usually sacrifice fans for money and just play on medium. But I can totally rock some songs on hard... lol

I was bassist and sometime vocals for ours. You should hear me sing that Beastie Boys song. I do his high piched whin. It's fun, although it's usually just noises then actually words.
We had a party at the end of last quarter, which ended up to be like a Rock Band party. It was lots of fun. But my friend, Tim, actually plays the drums in a band, and he couldn't play the Rock Band drums on anything but hard, because the slow beat was messing him up. His just crazy like that. whee

And the name I came up with, you ask? Well it is none other than "Duct Tape Gorillas" And of course I used my character from the other band, so Willis now has a side project band... And Victoria is the singer. But yeah, I'm getting better...

I re-created Imine for a third time, pretty much the same with just the addition of a tiny heart under her eye- not unlike Jem. :B
And I'm getting worse. The more I sing the more I suck.
