i never use paintshop-pro.. but i used PS all my life..
it is a "learn-it-yourself" to me.. i pretty much figure out everything on my own and looked up tutorials..
and its one very powerful tool,but I would like to try paintshop.. got a trail or link to it?

Hmm I want to ask what's the name or full name of the soft ware of Paint shop. Is it just "paint shop" after all of what you said, (that paint shop is easier than photoshop) I really do wanna try it. I'm using adobe photoshop for rendering and stuffs as of the moment, but I'm still an amateur, honestly it took me at least I think three months to get something out of it,, gosh sweatdrop I really do agree that photoshop isn't user friendly rolleyes

I guess everyone has his or her problems with the other programm. I've allways worked with PS and when I try to work with Paintshop or even openCanvas I got some trpuble. Even though the menue is nearly the same. <_< its somehow compareable with windows vs apple mac etc.
It's difficult or at least unpleasant to use the other programm/system. xD I'm using both but I'm at the point I try to scroll right-ways with a mouse that can only scroll up and down -.-' ok. I'm pretty lazy. maybe thats the reason why I prefer using Photoshop xD

All I will say is that I infintely prefer photoshop over paintshop
Photoshop is probably by far the better program
But one program you forgot to mention
GIMP
All the functionality of both, Tablet support and its clean and easy to use
and most importantly ITS FREE!
And on top of that, I lol at all of you who actually Paid for photoshop
CS2 for free for me razz
But i'd defintely have to say PS over PaintShop anyday of the work.

i go photoshop because i took digital imaging in school and if you take the time to learn it has amazing capabilities. i agree on the un user friendly part of it lol cause if i didn't have anyone to show me the ropes i would've been like what the efff? eek honestly i've never tried paintshop but maybe i wll... but for you i would suggest sticking with paintshop biggrin
