"Well then, eager McBeaver, would you like to try?" Echona asked, getting up on the branch. She streched and cracked her her back. "We'll race to the big oak. You can only jump from branch to branch in tree racing. I've become extremley good at it. Have a head start, I'll count to 5..."
"Yeah, shes probably still trying to open it...I hope she gets stuck to it..."She whispered the last part quietly to herself. She hated that cheery happy eevee at the place her owner lived at. Though she would never admit she has an owner. He stomach growled and she whispered something to the cerebus heads. They immidiatley zipped off with one to guard Andara. She smiled at their fading forms through the leaves.

Cohen had the urge to reject the head start, but went ahead anyway. For another brief moment he actually had a bit of sense! If Echona was experienced at this, then it would probably be best to let her count to five... "Whoah!" He nearly fell off one of the branches. Though he did jump out of trees on purpose quite often, that wasn't exactly the aim of this game. "This is harder than it looks!" he shouted back as he steadied himself on his fourth branch. That oak still looked so far away...
"Um... Where are they going?" Makoto asked curiously as he looked around. He really did have to find somewhere soon. Mahari would be arriving soon, and she did need somewhere to stay.

"Not when its me!" Echona calle, for she had just counted five. She got up and streched slightly before jumping of the branch sideways and landing on another. She jumped to anoth, and another, though slowly and steadily. "I dont think you want me to go full speed if your just gonna sit there! You have to keep going!"
"To find me something to eat," Andara replied simply. "Looking for something?"

"Yeah, I know!" Cohen jumped into another tree, steadied himself, and hopped to the next. He was getting the hang of this, but he was used to climbing and jumping out of trees, not into another.
"That's convenient," Makoto chuckled. When asked if he was looking for something, he couldn't help but give a hopeful jump. Perhaps Andara could help him find a good place? "Actually, yes... You see, my sister is coming here, and I will need to find somewhere safe and warm for us to stay. You wouldn't happen to know of any vacant places, would you?"

Echona hopped to another branched and looked at Cohen. His back was to her and the reckless smile was on her face but she felt...different about him. She raised an eyebrow as she saw him jump to another branch. After a few seconds she realized she was staring at him. He cheecks grew red under her fur and she jumped to another branch, trying to shake the thoughts off.
Andara looked somewhat thoughful. "No, I wouldnt seeing as how I shelter anywhere, but I have an idea. Find a spot you'd like to live near and lets see if we can make tou a den."

Cohen was oblivious to Echona's situation, as all of his focus was on that oak tree. It seemed that for every hop he made, though, another tree just seemed to scoot into his path. Even though it seemed almost hopeless, though, he kept going, eyes still stuck on his destination.
"You're sure? ... Well, that's very kind of you. Many thanks." Makoto got to his paws, but a sudden thought struck him. "Oh, yes... We have to wait for your shadowy friends to return, don't we? I'm sorry if I seem impatient, ma'am. My name is Makoto, by the way." He honestly couldn't remember if he had introduced himself yet... Better safe than sorry, though.

Echona began to go nice pace, steadily gaining on Cohen, no longer looking at him, but on the trees in front of her. She was easily gaining and she began humming a small tune.
Andara responded with her own name. "Andara. And as for those twits, they'll find me. They'll just follow my scent."

Cohen was in the middle of a jump when Echona started to him. He looked back and, in an instant, found his paws had fallen short of the branch in front of him. With a short, surprised yelp, the black and purple Eevee started to fall to the ground. He landed on his belly with a loud thud, and his limbs were sprawled out so that he looked flat. This motionless position would probably look rather comical from above. He was actually fine, but a little to surprised to yell up and tell Echona that. That fall hadn't exactly been expected...
"Oh... Alright then." With a small grin, Makoto waited for Andara to lead the way. He had no idea that those strange heads had the capability to smell things... But once he thought about it, they were somewhat dog-like in appearance, and it only made sense that they would.

Echona let out a high pitched squeak at seeing cohen fall then suddently noticed she had missed her own branch. Though, she landed lightly on the ground, having much practice and dashed over to Cohen. "Are you ok?" She asked, her tone worried.
Andara looked around. "I'm guessing you want a nice den that has plenty of space. And I would do you well to stay near the lake and the berry patches. So...I'll help you make a den where I've spent many a night. Come." Andara walked towards the bushes where the heads had disappeared, not waiting to see if he followed.

Cohen lifted his head up and laughed a little before he spoke. "Yeah, I'm good. Just wasn't planning on doing that is all." He got to his paws stiffly, still aching from the impact. Try as he might, he couldn't hide his need to lean on the tree that he had just fallen from. The purple-faced Eevee just smiled, hoping that Echona hadn't noticed.
Makoto's ears perked as Andara took off. He could hardly believe that some stranger that he had just met was going to help him make a home... At least the nieghborhood seemed helpful so far. Snapping out of his thoughts, Makoto dashed after the female and slowed right as he got beside her. "Thank you again for this, ma'am," he added with another light smile. Still... He couldn't help but wonder why this mysterious Eevee was so willing to help, but he decided it best not to look a gift horse in the mouth.

Echona raised an eyebrow. To her, it was abvios he had trouble standing. She sighed lightly and looked around. "I'll be right back," She said quickly. She took off into the woods and came back in a few minutes with a some Oran berries. Se dropped two in front of Cohen and took her two . She smiled at him, and if he had looked at her closely, he could have seen a hint of emotion in her eyes that not even she was aware of and she bit into one of her berries.
Andara just nodded. She was leading him on a path filled with thorn bushes that she easily dodged around. suddently she veered away from the path into a small clearing with a large maple tree. She went and sat at its base. ((The bushes were there by coincidence XD))
***New Additions soon to be added to front page***
Stella and Aidan!
Stella flew through the forest happily. Normaly she would come out at night, but she was to hungry to eat. She flew across the forest and then dove down and flew along right above the lake, one of her front paws trainling in the water.

Cohen blinked down at the berries. "Er... Thanks?" Embarrased, he laughed a little as he leaned down to eat the two berries. Oddly enough, they energized him, and any trace of an ache was totally gone. He looked back up to thank Echona, and looked amazed as he gazed into her slate blue eyes. His mouth was agape for a moment. "Wow..." A second later, he shook his head and said, "Wow, those berries sure do the trick!" Again, he tried to hide what was really going on. The only difference was that, this time, he wasn't quite sure what he was trying to keep from her.
Makoto caught up easily, though he found himself cringing as his tail swung into one of the thorn bushes. He sat down in front of her and pulled his tail around to bite out the single thorn stuck in it. "Is this the place?" he asked as he lifted his head back up and looked around. A satisfied smile crept onto his face as he took in his surroundings. "It's very nice."
A large orange Flareon happened to be walking along the shore of the lake as Stellaluna began to fly around above it. He couldn't help but look over at the Aereon dangling her paw in the water. Wasn't that dangerous? What if she fell in? He decided to stick around in case something happened. Though he hated the water, he was more than willing to help anyone in need.

"Heh, I'm sure they did help," she said before taking another bite. She savored her berries as she ate it and all its juicy goodness. "Oran berries heal. I've learned what alot of berries do, living in the forest and bacically living off them. I'm not to picky about flavors though..." She said after swallowing and then finished off her first berry. ((Yay feelings XD))
Andara heard rustling and the Cerebus head burst from the foliage, each carrying 5 berries, barely able to keep them from falling. They dropped the berries in front of Andar and returned to their guard spots. "I can make you a nice den under the tree if tou want. And here, have as many as you want," Andara said, swiping an oran berriy and munching it.
Stellaluna noticed a Flareon on the edge of the lake and smiled over at him. She went skywards again, the spiraled back down to land by him. "Hello!" She greeted him cheerfully.

Cohen felt a bit inferior, as he had no berry knowledge to show off. "... I like the red ones..." He gave a humorous grin at this reference to Cheri berries. "I don't know too much about the food I eat. That's probably a bad thing, huh?" (( XD ))
The white and green Eevee sat down and leaned over the berries. "This location is perfect... Thank you again," Makoto mumbled, still stumped as to why she was geing so generous. He took a berry and chewed on it, knowing that he couldn't just let her do all of that work alone. He would ask her if she needed help after she started...
Aidan backed up a single step and smiled to this Aereon. "Hi there! I was watching you fly... You've got better moves than a Swellow I saw once." He gave a little laugh and waved his fluffy tail about. "My name's Aidan."

"Oh, the red, they're Cheri berries," Echona answered, starting now on her second berry. "They heal paralization. And if you ever need help with berries, just ask! I know them all by heart."
Andara started by probing the ground with her hammer handle, looking for a good spot to start. Finding a weak spot, she easily twisted the hammer around and slammed the head on it. There was a crack and split appeared. Her Cerebus head got to work immediatly, slowly creating a hole in the trunk, soon to be the den.
Stellaluna smiled at the compliment. "Thanks. I'm Stellaluna. Nice to meet you Aidan!" She flapped her broad wings a couple of times before closing them.
