At this moment, Ren heard something- it seemed to be echoing inside her head.
Ren-san... Can you hear me? It's Daisuke... You're very close to me... I need your help... But you're the only one who can help me right now. Now, please listen closely. Do you see that blue orb on the pedestal over there?
Indeed, a few yards away from her, in an alcove, was a shining blue orb on an ornate pedestal.
Go over there and touch the orb- it will release the barrier around me, so you can find me... Then we can go fight that b*****d who trapped me here... Please, Ren, you're the only one who can do this, if anyone of magical power touches this, it will react and trap them too! Hurry...

Daisuke's voice came again, a bit more exasperated this time. umm... not to rush you or anything, Ren-san... But I am kind of slowly dying here... Anytime you could run over and disable the orb would be great...

Ren heard voices echoing in her head, they sounded famillar, "It's Daisuke-kun!" she shouted alloud sounding even more crazy then she already was, she stood up and walked over to the blue orb, "Okay..." she said touching it and waiting for something to happen.

It was too late. As soon as she touched the orb, she heard maniacal laughter filling her head.
"How naive. That was really, too easy... But, as a courtesy, I will take you to see your precious friend..."
With that, Ren's body was surrounded by magic and pulled into the orb, teleporting her to somewhere else- and immediately after, the orb cracked and shattered. Ren was gone.

Ren-chan could feel herself being sucked into the orb, feeling a bit disoreinted, she tried to realize her surroundings.

Entry # 00035 "REN!" Sorce cried, running to where she'd disappeared. There was nothing there except the fallen remains of the shattered orb and... " Electro Arcana! Universitas Analyzatus!" There! A trace, a faint trace... but there were forms to be followed, after all. "Where's Ren, you b@stard!" Sorce cried, even as most of his mind analyzed what he'd found before it had had the chance to fade away...

Entry # 00036 There was no answer. Either the enemy was being stubborn or wasn't paying attention anymore. Either way, perfect. Sitting down on the ground, Sorce drew his staff across his lap and pulled out a book, as if studying it. In reality, he reached inside himself and hoped he still had enough telepathy Hakstetteru-san had given him for what he was planning to do. Concentrating on the pattern he'd found, he sent his mind questing, but it was no good. Probably a barrier, he thought as he opened his eyes. He's not likely to make an amateurish mistake like that. Well then, I guess I do this the old fashioned way...

Entry # 00037 Sorce rolled his eyes and stood up. "I only have your word for that, don't I? Mundane or untrained mage, I'm not leaving Ren in your possibly lolitacon hands!" he cried defiantly. "I can find you! I know how you feel, now. I won't stop until I find Ren!" It must be the presence of all the books, Sorce thought. It was making him talk in stock dialog and act all macho.
