As Rai whipped across the room, Noah realized that Amber had gotten the4 hang of fighting such a small opponent.1
"Okay, Rai, for real this time! Quick attack!"
Rai, already exhausted, took a few seconds to muster strength, and speed up, a little slower then before, but powerful nonetheless

Emi was relieved when she felt the Hampy release, but she was still angry. In her anger she failed to realize that Rai was coming at her, and by the time she di notice it it was too late to move. The hit hurt, but it wasn't the strongest of hits, and Emi closed one of her eyes as she felt the small pokemon ram into her side.
"Alright Emi, attack with Volt Tackle again!" Amber shouted, thinking that this pokemon was a good battler for it's small size.
Once more lightning engulfed her body, making her a comet of bright yellow electricity that would light up the arena and potentially blind someone temporarily. She was too close to Rai, so she had to spin around and run the other way before turning and shooting straight towards the hampster-like pokemon.

"Hammmmm!"
Rai flew across the room. It was hard for the young Hampy to comprehend the situation they were in. Rai stumbled to his feet. "Hamm...py..." he breathed. All he wanted to do is win and move on, so he could rest and go back to his beloved trainer. The poor Hampy.
"Rai! We can do this!" Noah encouraged. Rai wondered if Noah understood his feelings right now.
Then, Noah spoke again, this time a command. "Rai, Bite!"
Rai paused for a moment, to rest, before he attacked.
"What's wrong, Rai? Come on! Bite!"
"Hampy..." Rai longed for Noah to understand. But, that had to wait for another time. Rai decided it was time to get this battle over with. Rai mustered all his strength. Was it enough? Only time could tell. Rai rushed up, emotions running, closed his eyes, and finally, when he felt close enough, clamped his jaw shut.

Amber knew Emi was getting increasingly tired and weak, but she also knew the Raichu would never give up. Necause of this she never called off any battles, that and if she did Emi would be really ticked with her.
The Raichu looked at Rai, the gleam in her eye that showed her feirce competitiveness, that she never feared losing a battle and that she utterly hated losing. She enjoyed seeing the Hampy, the one who had bitten her ear, so tired and now unwilling to continue fighting. She sidestepped the little bugger, but it bit down on her tail. This time Emi couldn't hold back a cry of pain as she lashed her tail around.
Oh no, what would they do now? No one had ever bitten her tail! Except maybe a Houndour, but those things were much bigger than the pokemon they were now facing. "Emi, uh, use...use Iron Tail! Smash that hampster thing into the ground" She hoped she knew what she was thinking.
Lucky for her Emi did know, and her tail glowed white again as it was swung quickly to one side before snapping into an arch as it went back to the other side to slam the Hammy into the dirt.
