Cale almost skidded into the ground after his Body Slam mostly missed. He managed to pull himself up and back into the air; turning to face the Meditite he recognised the rainbow shimmer to the air. He knew what it was without being told; and he tried to block it as the rainbow-tinted air ruffled his feathered head-wings. He was too tired to really have much success; but the attack on his mind was a lot weaker this time. Still, it left his head pounding worse than ever. "Okay, Cale; use Dragon Breath!" The Dragonair nodded; closed his eyes at the pain the movement caused, and took a deep breath. He opened them and squinted to try and see straight; before sending a beam of draconic flames at the Meditite. (Dice Roll) 6 Damage! Roll * 14 / 15 = 6.5 = 6 HP: 14/34 (Forgive the lameness of my post, please... I just woke up from a nap...)

“Oh no! Lore!”
Ruri covered her eyes as the Dragon Breath attack hit her Pokemon again. When she finally looked up she saw Lore on the ground, resting in a trembling heap. Oh, he was so tired now. The poor thing... there was no way they could win this fight.
“I-I know you’re hurting Lore. But, give it one last shot! Use Confusion.”
Lore let out a grunt of pain before focusing on using his attack and slamming his psychic powers at Cale.

"Cale!" Falcon called. "Another Psychic attack!" The exhausted Dragonair nodded; trying his best to raise his mental defenses. Through a combination of his mental defenses and the exhaustion of the Meditite, the attack barely did more than briefly increase his throbbing headache. Cale shook off the effect; before looking to his Trainer for a command. "Good, you're getting better with Psychic attacks! Now, use Body Slam!" The Dragonair rose a little way; before diving through the air, aiming at the Meditite. (Dice Roll) He could barely see straight; and barely aim. Still, he did his best; trying to hit the Meditite with his body. 2 Damage! Roll * 14 / 15 = 2.8 = 2 HP: 13/34

The Body Slam wasn’t that strong but it was enough to finish Lore off. His dodge to the side was in vain as the tail hit him against the chest. The Meditite fell to the ground with a groan. After a moment of struggling to get up, the fight left his body. He cast one last glare at Cale before slumping to the ground in utter defeat.
Beaten by the same trainer, how… humiliating! Lore frowned just before falling unconscious.
“Lore, return!”
As the Meditite returned to his Pokeball Ruri let out a sigh. Well, the Dragonair had fought well. Wait a second, a Dragonair? The girl from the other day, the one with the Skitty, had one too. With one hand on her hip Ruri watched the other trainer, slowly coming to the conclusion that she had indeed fought her before.
Wow, she was seriously tough.

Cale floated over to Falcon; his glide was slightly shaky, and he sank into her arms with a quiet sigh. His long tail wrapped aroung her waist as Falcon cuddled the Dragonair close. Kiliina, the Delcatty, stood up on her back legs; and placed her front paws on Falcon's arms as support. She looked into the Dragonair's face and mewled softly at him; before licking his face, then dropping back onto all fours. "You did well," Falcon murmured to her Pokemon. "You did your best; and the outcome reflects that... Well done." Cale closed his eyes in happiness and lightly squeezed Falcon's waist with his tail. A slight smile crossed Falcon's face; and she turned to leave.

Huh? She was leaving already?! “Hey hey!” Ruri quickly put the ball containing Lore on her belt and then raced over to Falcon. With her usual cheerful, energetic manner she moved herself in front of the other girl, effectively stopping her from moving forward.
“Don’t leave yet! We should exchange numbers or something! You’re very strong. I remember you beat me last time. I would have talked with you more then but Lore had just taken a pretty nasty hit so I wanted to get him to the Pokemon Center quickly. Hey, did I tell you my name? It’s Ruri.”
Ruri finally shut up and then stood there with a beaming smile.

Falcon gazed at the other trainer for a moment. Last time she had been convinced that the team's power had led to their arrogance; but she had difficulty associating that image with the hyperactive girl in front of her. She seemed more... Socially oblivious than anything else. A small prook from near her waist made Falcon look down. Kiliina was looking up at her; almost reprimanding her for being judgemental. Falcon frowned slightly at the Delcatty; who blinked slowly at her before starting to clean one from paw. Falcon inwardly shrugged, and looked back up at the Trainer. "My name is Falcon", she stated. She didn't really know what too say beyond that.

Falcon could have simply grunted and it would be enough to set Ruri off again. “Falcon? That’s a pretty interesting name. Like the bird right? Oh, we have to battle again soon. I’m sure Lore would like a rematch, he doesn’t take well to loosing.” She gave a little chuckle.
“Oh hey, your Skitty evolved.” Ruri peered at the Delcatty, eyes wide and bright. “Ooo, how pretty! Can I pet her? Please?” She asked, looking at Flacon with what could only be called ‘puppy dog eyes’.

Falcon blinked at the other trainer; definately hyper-active, and it seemed she wasn't arrogant at all. Her talkative behavoir would likely irritate Falcin in time; but for now she bore it. "It's not up to me", Falcon replied about Ruri petting Kiliina. "You'd have to ask her." Kiliina extended her head delicately; offering it for affection.

“Oh, of course! Sorry!” Ruri turned her attention to Kiliina in order to give the cat Pokemon a wide smile. “May I?” She grinned and reached out to scratch her behind the ears. “I remember the last battle. You sure were strong. Lore was moody for days after that!” She giggled.
“Hey, Falcon, we should get together sometime. You know, like for a milkshake and our Pokemon can meet. Well, if you want to of course. I know most trainers prefer just to keep relationships at a low level, simply battling now and then.”
Ruri shrugged lightly.

Falcon blinked. Go out... For milkshakes? She had only really spent time with one person purely for social reasons; most others chose not to spend time with her... Kiliina purred quietly at the attention; until she noticed Falcon's increased tension. She let out a small mew, looking up at her Trainer past Ruri's arm. Falcon's next words were abrupt. "Once you knew me better, you could not want to... socialise with me." She moved to walk around Ruri; Cale still half-asleep in her arms.

“Er…” That struck her dumb for a second. Ruri actually stood there, staring at nothing and idly scratching the back of her neck as she thought. After a second her bright smile returned and she quickly moved to intercept Falcon’s path for a second time. Waggling a finger in front of the other girls face, she flashed her a proud grin.
“I say, let me be the judge of that. I’ll get to know you better and then I’ll decide whether I want to socialize with you or not. I can’t possibly say that I don’t want to when I’ve barely even met you.” She gave a firm nod; quite happy with the conclusion she had come up with.
“Oh hey! What’s your favourite food, colour and clothing item?”

Falcon blinked. "What?" The question threw her; but with a shrug, she decided to answer it; the girl was persistant and may actually leave her alone if she did. Then again, Falcon thought she may find herself pleasantly surprised. Or maybe unpleasantly so. Was it really worth finding out? She shrugged and answered. "Steak, red, and-" Favourite clothing item? What was her favourite clothing item? She didn't tend to spend long choosing her clothes; but she tended to always wear the same wide leather belt, so... "My belt." She finished.

Ruri thought for only a second before clapping her hands together. “Great! My favourite food is fried eggs, but I also really like ice cream and sushi. My favourite colour is rainbow, and I wont have anyone telling me that it’s not a real colour. Oh, and my favourite clothing item is my orange scarf… which I’m not wearing today because I got it muddy this morning.”
With her cheeky grin she clasped her hands behind her back. “So, now that we know each other, we can socialize.” There that was all settled. Problem solved! Was there even really a problem to start with? Oh, no matter. Everything was fine and dandy!
“So, how about that milkshake now?”
