He squirmed and struggled as Brick caught his tail as he attacked him. This was something he never thought to see coming. Feeling the attack of Stone Edge, his body once more winced in slightly pain. Falling towards the ground as the Geodude let go, he scrambled to his feet and shook his body; readying himself for what hopefully would be the last move.
"Just hang in there, Flamethrower. Your doing just fine," she said with a smile. "Now, finish him off with another Flamethrower attack." With that said, the charmander stood tall as he prepared himself for his move. Once more, he opened his mouth as he shot a burst of flames towards the enemy, hoping that this would be the last move he would ever make for this battle.

Amber was astonished. Brick didn't have a lot of energy left, barely any at all, and yet he was able to get away from the Flamethrower and still stand, an inch away from fainting. "Brick, you're amazing." She said, hands on her hips as she looked proudly at her pokemon, whom was panting heavily and sweating harder now. "See if you can finish this off with an Earthquake."
With not near as much speed as he had before, he rose into the air and stalled for a moment. But he did fall harder and faster this time, quite like a large boulder.

Just when they thought the battle was over, Brick proved them wrong. Peep watched the Geodude use all his strength into his last move while her charmander stummbled back wards once more at the attack and winced in the pain that was given this time. "Finish him off with an ember move!" she shouted to her pokemon who quickly stood and attacked. That was it, they had won.
Eyes twinkled with excitement as she knew she won, there 2nd battle but this was their very first win. "We did Flamethrower, we really did it." she said as she seemed to jump around. "We won!" She smiled at her Pokemon as he seemed to pant some but he joined in the jumping as well. Running over towards the lizard, she knelt down and patted him on the head. "You did a really good job," she said with a smile. "But know its time for you to rest," she added as she took the pokeball off of her belt and returned the charmander back into his ball. Standing upward, Peep looked towards Amber and smiled lightly. "That was some battle," she said. "Really close and your Geodude did a good job too," she added with a nod. "Suppose we can battle again someday," she said with a smile and having to admit that this battle was pretty fun.

Amber watched as Brick went down, smoke rising from his charred outer rock layer, eyes swirls. It looked funny to her, and she couldn't help but give a light chuckle. "You performed at your best Brick, as always. Now it's your turn to rest." She said, pulling a blue and white greatball from her belt and pressing the button to enlarge it. "Return." The top of the ball snapped up, Brick turning into red light as he was recalled, taking shelter in his pokeball. Amber flashed a smile at Peep before she crossed the field. "That was an intense match, Brick had a good workout. In truth that's all he wants, he lives to work out and make himself stronger. Anyways, my name's Amber. Here, take this incase you ever want to battle again." She rummaged around in her faded red messenger bag, pulling out a pen and paper, writing something on it and offering it to Peep. "It's my trainer number."
