((I'm afraid all of my creativity is going into another role-play.

(Okay, I got an idea.... Maybe..... That might preoccupy us for a little while... We'll put this one on pause and come back to it if we feel like it... But what if Hiei. (Even though he's unmistakably small now) started to get smaller all of a sudden? What would happen?)

((I would... have some trouble with that. I'd be hard to role-play, and really just be weird. Would he still have the same attitude he normally does, or would this be a kind of continuation of the old one? It might work, though.))

(I might have a better one, came up with it last night, actually. What if Hiei found a human baby that was abandoned? I mean, he'd obviously go to Kurama with it, as he has no clue how to care for a child, but what if it became rather 'attached' to him?)

(Not really much in the way of details this will be separate from the Hiei Human one though, meaning he is his normal self. But he has to learn how to care for the child since it's rather attached to him. He goes to Kurama in hopes that he can just dump the child off with the other but finds that he can't. He'll have to stay with Kurama because he is the only one who knows how to take care of a child, it'll be a baby, more than likely. I'll start though.)
Hiei had origionally come to go see Kurama about something ningen related... To say the least, it definately confused him as to why the humans would want to spend the night at these 'Kary- okay' places and whine like a pack of dogs all night. The concept seemed to evade him even though he spent a good part of the night outside one of these Kary okay bars and observed the odd habits of the humans within. However, when it came to sneaking back out of the alley that he came into, he was stopped by a very, very faint noise, which grew louder and louder until it was an all out wail. Hunting for the source of the noise wasn't too much of a problem after a while. Hiei pushed back the papers covering a crate of some sort, only to find a little human inside it. He blinked as the noise from the child had stopped and looked around. He knew the signs for it, hell he'd even been through the process himself, but still he didn't understand the why to it. Just that it was.... The child's mother had abandoned it here. He huffed, deciding that only Kurama would know what to do, he'd heard the other talking about an 'adroption' or some such... He picked the child up, cringing since with the child came the odor of a soiled diaper and proceeded towards Kurama's house. Of course, he had to rap on the window to wake the other, but he was sure that the red- head wouldn't mind.

Kurama heard the tap on his window and immediately knew who it was. He wondered what had brought him there so late, since normally even the kitsune would be asleep, as he made his way from the bed. Perhaps he was hurt? That was a possibility.
But he was definitely proven wrong by the sight that greeted his eyes as he opened the latch to allow the Koorime entrance. Hiei was with a child. Even stranger, a /human/ one. The fox knew as well as anyone how much he loathed the race and held contempt for every little thing they did. So why?
The crying child needed attention, and he knew that couldn't be given by Hiei. Kurama also knew that asking the dozens of questions that raced through his mind wouldn't help, either. While he wasn't an expert on children, he was sure he knew more than the other boy. Right now, he didn't have anything the child needed to be properly cared for. This would mean a trip to the store.
When the fire apparition did come in, the only words that passed through his lips were, "I can tell what you came here for," he glanced at the infant, "but what happened?" He knew quite well that the other did not care for drawn-out greetings, so he got to the point immediately.
He wanted to stop the child from whining, but until Hiei handed it to him, there wasn't much he could do.

"I was trying to figure out what a 'Kary Okay bar' was when I heard this nearby... I think it's ningen mother abandoned it. Then I remembered you saying something about a place where ningens who are abandoned can go to. You said it was an 'Adroption Agency' or something." Hiei commented, handing the whining kid over, only to tense up when it's whimpering turned into a screaming wail.

The fox wasn't going to bother with wondering why he was at a karaoke bar, but as for the child which was now in his arms... it didn't seem to like him much. "Hiei, I think it has bonded with you," he said matter-of-factly.
That much was quite obvious, anyway. Kurama had done nothing to make it uncomfortable, yet it screamed when he held it. Seemed they had a child on their hands, at least for a while. After it was in better shape, the two would bring it to the adoption agency, as the Koorime suggested.

"Why would it do that? I haven't had it for very long, and it's not like I'm it's Mother. And I don't know how to take care if it, so don't give me that look. I also mostly live outside, it'll get sick if I have it live with me." He commented, truthfully.

Kurama thought over each question carefully, then answered, "You are the only caring being I think it's known. You took it in after it's mother abandoned it.
And I think I could help you with that, at least for a while. Just to get it in good condition." The fox didn't think it necessary to add the part about Hiei staying with him. More likely than not, that would discourage the demon.

"Why can't you just take care of it? I mean, I know it's not yours but, you're better at this kind of stuff than I am, Kurama... You know that." Hiei tried to argue his way out of this situation. "Alright, fine, hand the stupid human over then, if it'll shut the twerp up!"
Hiei had only said that so that he could shut the child up, surprisingly, it did just that. Gurgling and cooing before snuggling into Hiei's chest, not really caring that he wasn't even holding the tyke properly in the first place. "It stinks and it drools and when will we be able to give it back to the humans, Kurama?"
To say Hiei was in a foul mood over his situation would be the utter opposite of the truth. In fact, he didn't look like he was enjoying this situation at all by the scrowl on his face and his currently dishevaled state of mind. The child whimpered slightly and it's stomach gurgled in some strange noise. "And now it's hungry, do you even have anything that it'll eat?" He questioned, feeling ruffled.
