"I can answer that." Stephen materialized next to Lola.
"This coffee shop was infected by an AI of mine, and with the help of Shade, Neo-Blade and a few other supers, I took it down. Need any more information on anything?

Shade turned to Stephen,"Hey man, how have you been since.. well you know" Shade said looking around the shop, seeing the computer with a bullet hole in it. He felt bad for Stephen... he lost one of his only friends and he seemed so sad.

Lola jumped when he came out of the blue. "Well, this is officially the weirdest day ever. Wait, who are you? and what do you mean? did something happen?" Lola was on a clueless high.

Stephen looked to Lola, who seemed surprised.
"The accident with my machine gave me the power to control my bodily matter and therefore change my appearance, shape, and things of that nature. I was invisible and turned into a two dimensional sheet to slink through the crack in the door."
He then looked to Shade.
"Life could be worse. I mean, Chives has a virus code. Eventually, He'll respawn on another computer somewhere across the world. And god knows that the first thing he'll do is come home to Tangent Tropolis."

"WElll lets hope its the good Chives, we dont want that to happen again" Shade said smiling. Shade looked at the weird guy who had come out of the closet and then looked back at Lola, she seemed to be very weirded out by all of this stuff.

Stephen pulled a flash drive out of his pocket. "This contains every piece of Chives' artificial personality. Evil, good, innocent, clever, all of the little electronic angels and demons on his shoulder. If he turns evil again, I can upload this to my Codegun, another invention of mine, and blast away, or even put him in a harmless new body. Everything will be fine, now that SAGE is gone."

Lola had her mouth open wide and her eyebrows were as high as they could go. Lola blinked twice is surprise, "OKAAYY, well I guess that makes sense. But what about Oreo? and Lady Paintbrush? and..." she stopped her eyebrows furrowed. "How do I know you're telling the truth? you could easily change into anyone you want. You could be a spy or even Lady Paintbrush... which wouldn't make sense because she'd turn into a woman... or maybe behind that twisted mind of yours it COULD make sense." her detective senses were on full power. "I don't know you at all, but this is a little fishy to me. A guy comes to my door and asks me for information, and then I end up asking information because of something that happened with a robot and a coffee shop?!?"

"A spy?" Stephen asked as his form rippled until he was wearing a blue business suit and a hockey mask. "Lady Paintbrush?" He changed again and he was Lady Paintbrush. "Zat vhould be a reasonable azzumption, but vho's to ztop zere?" He changed again to Oreo. "I could be Oreo," He changed to Wilder, "Wilder," he transformed to Lola, "Or even you." He switched back to himself. "But you'll just have to trust me."

Shade looked at Lola, "This is deffinantly Stephen, him and his nerdy self" Shade said letting out a laugh. He was amazed at the site that Stephen could change from all of those people and still be able to make himself again. "THat must be a useful power." shade said looking to Stephen, he seemed to be a smart man too. "I can see where Lola comes from but still... I would know if Stephen was lying to us... remember we have telepathy and can read his mind" Shade said pointing at his head. He thought that he had a good point.

Lola was so shocked it almost looked unreal. Her hand twitched with fear but she held firm. She shook her head and looked him in the eye. "Trust is a lot like stairs, earning trust is hard like walking up stairs. But losing trust is easy, just like falling down stairs." she cocked her head and put her hands on her hips. "Don't fall down the stairs, or you'll be dead" she looked very stern with seriousness glowing with her expression.

I think that with Shade's telepathy, your detective skill, and my power and brain, we can stop Lady Paintbrush from killing any more people." Stephen looked to the flash drive in his hand, then the fallen screen. "Hopefully, neither of these things fall into the wrong hands. God knows what Lady Paintbrush could do with Chives AND Neo by her side. Anyway, it's best we start now."

Shade turned to Stephen,"You're right, she could take this whole world easily, shes a lot more powerful than we take her for..." Shade looked at Lola and smiled, his mask still off,"What about you? Are you in for stopping lady paintbrush?" He asked holding up his hand. A red balll of energy formed in his hand and he smiled,"We can take her down if we use the right power..." Suddenly the ball of energy that Shade was holding had started to go from red to green. He was feeling different now, as if he was stronger and he believed more in himself, as if he were changing sides on things. He used to just want to wreck everything but now he understood what he needed to do... he was a rogue. Shade elt the greed energy go back into his body and then he started thinking about things.
