"Your news is old, Yusuke. Though, I'm sure we wouldn't mind you staying for as long as you wish." Quite honestly, the fox would rather him not be there, but a short while being unable to show Hiei affection would not keep him from being as polite as possible. It'd be fine, just as long as the now-human boy didn't get scared. Kurama wasn't quite sure if he wanted to keep their relationship a secret or not, and it would be awkward to ask.

"Oh, then they've already come to try to find you guys?" He questioned. "Well, Koenma ordered me to 'Keep an eye on this place even if the End of the World as we know it were to occur. I was just checking up on you two, making sure that Hiei's alright, I mean... He seemed rather... Startled the last time, which is typical, now that I know what he's been through, I'm not surprised if you don't want me inside the house," He stated. "But I'm in the area if you need help."

"Hiei is fine, and I thank you for your concern. While you're here, can I get you anything?" The kitsune certainly didn't mind the detective's company, and he did hope that Hiei would come join them. If he did, it would show much progress on his part.

"Coffee if you would please?" he questioned. "They got me up really early for the briefing so that I could pass information on to you."
Hiei waited until it seemed nothing was going to happen before he peeked down from upstairs. "Kurama? Who was it?" He questioned, before daring to set foot anywhere on the stairs themselves

"It's only Yusuke, so hiding isn't necessary," said the fox with a small smile.
A few moments later, Kurama emerged from the kitchen with a mug of coffee, which he gave to the detective. It wasn't exactly a thing he normally had on hand, so he had to go digging around for the mix. He didn't care for coffee, nor did he want Hiei on a caffeine rush.

Hiei nodded, though he came down slowly and unsure, but he did manage to come down and sit beside Kurama across from Yusuke. "So, why- why is he- I mean, why are you here visiting Yusuke?" He questioned.
Here to keep an eye on you, since your papers have been inherited. Until Koenma can figure out what to do about that, there'll be hunters coming to take you to your new owner. I'm supposed to cause trouble for them so that they can't do that."

The red-head simply watched the two, really having nothing important to add, himself. Yusuke seemed to be quite well informed of the situation, contrary to how he had been acting before. Not even Kurama would ever be able to understand him.

Hiei smiled... "Do you think, I mean- is there anyway that I- I could get out of this?" He wondered.
"Actually, Koenma has a plan, but I have to keep an eye on you until he's done with the paper- work. I think he said he's going to try to buy you off of the man that inherited you and is sending demons out here to find you," Yusuke stated. "But that might take sometime. But once he does he's going to sign the papers officially making you free."
The little Hiei obviously didn't like Yusuke being there, for whatever reason, he had hidden, only to appear later right by Yusuke's hand and opening his small mouth he bit into the tender flesh of the other's hand.

Kurama hid a chuckle behind his hand, then proceeded to take the creature away from his friend. He held onto the chibi, just tight enough to make it hard for it to escape. It hadn't shown that it could talk, so he doubted it would give an apology.
The fox had been quite relieved to hear the news, because it meant that after a while of danger, Hiei would be safe; this was something he certainly welcomed.

"However.... And I do mean however... It might take a while as he tries to out- bid some of the others after Hiei's papers... And with the retrievers on the look out for him, you'll have to deal with me being around a bit more, though it'll probably be outside your home more than inside."
Hiei nodded, understanding. "I- I guess that's alright." He stated, truthfully.

The fox gave a soft nod in agreement with Hiei, then said, "Just keep in mind that you're always welcome here. If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask."
He just wished that things would calm down for them... Hiei would never recover this way, always worrying and being afraid.

"Trust me, Kurama, I promise to try not to interfer with your lives more than what I have to, but if I can help you keep those goons from ever finding Hiei then it's for the better, I'm sure."
Hiei nodded his agreement with Yusuke's statement. "I'll try not to be scared anymore when you come around." He stated, truthfully.

((I kind of am. I like role-plays to be a lot faster, not drug out forever. When I'm really into it, I usually do three or four paragraphs.
