Liek nodded to where the room was but she was silent when she heard of her human life. "Maybe later... I... I do not feel as though I can handle two lives at this time." She looked up at him, she had to make this one thing clear. "Clifford, I don't like humans, I probably won't for a very long time. You and Ariai have been the reasons I haven't become one of the life taking vampires. You must understand that my human life to me is a part that I hate without even knowing. I cannot deal with that knowledge, it is hard enough for me to deal with the knowledge of my torture." She said softly as she looked vacantly away. "Now, I am through with thinking and would prefer to be drinking. So let me leave you to dress, and I will wait for you to lead me to a 'fast." Her defense rhyming was back, if only because it was now her natural way of speaking and required less thought.

Clifford nodded understanding her side of things. "Actually if you want I am sure you could find Ariai. She is making us some tea. I will find you no matter what you choose to do." He paused and then did something that he only did with the closest of his friends. He embraced the one he had made and held her for a moment.

Liek tensed for a moment when he embraced her before relaxing and held him in return, nuzzling his chest slightly, warmly before stepping away with a light kiss to his cheek which she had to go on her tip toes to accomplish. "I hope you two work things out, if you don't get together I may have to pout." She smiled at him as she backed away and left, heading to the kitchen where she saw Ariai. "Good morning." She said softly walking in. The scars Ariai had thought of mere moments ago were visible as she only wore a small spahgetti strap and loose pants. The white lines peaked from under the shirt and pants as well as on her arms and one around her neck where she usually had her scarf.

"Good morning Liek," Ariai smiled. "Have some tea, will you? I just made it." She handed her friend a large cup, and harbored her own cup close to her bosom. "What do you plan to do today? This castle is a bit boring, to say the least. I haven't been here in a while; I've forgotten what I do for fun around here."

Liek took the tea with a nod of her head and sipped it, already feeling more rejuvinated than she had before, especially in the emotional sense. She shrugged her shoulders, "I may go out to play, or just sit around and lay... Maybe I shall find my friend, we had a short end. Deimos is an intereting character, he rhymes with me all the better." She said with a smile and then drank more of her tea.

Ariai furrowed her brow. "Wasn't he the vampire that had tried to bite Ms. Anderson?" She shuddered. There was something about that vampire she didn't trust. He was just too...suave and cool. Not that being suave and cool was a bad thing; Clifford pulled that off very nicely. It was just that Deimos seemed...falsely suave and cool. "Just be careful, will you Liek?" Ariai asked. "For Clifford and me?"

Liek smiled at her, "He won't hurt me, we share the same dislike of humans you see. But I will do as you say, for I am always that way." She drank more of the brew in her cup as she relaxed in the chair, her knees curled to her chest as she seemed to drift in and out of reality. She occasionally took a sip of her drink as she listened to the sounds of the awakening castle.

(Bleh... short...)

Ariai saw to it that Liek's mug be refilled occasionally as she sat at the kitchen table, writing away in her journal. Scorn lay next to the book she was writing in, but never looking into it. Even he, her most closest confident, didn't dare look into her private journals. She stroked behind his ears every once and a while, when she stopped writing. "I wonder when Clifford is going to come down?" she wondered to the cat.

Not long after this Clifford came into the room and smiled at both these lovely ladies that he cared so deeply for. His dress had changed somewhat though from his long coat and dark colors to a vest over a simple shirt and brown pants. Also unlike before he had a sword hung from his side. "Good evening ladies." He said warmly to them as he took a seat at the table. "Have our other two guests been moving about Ariai? They need to get training if they want to survive this." He sipped his tea going over what he would have to do tonight. At the top of his list was to speak with his parents. "Liek what did you learn from our...new aquantance last night?"

"I'd nearly forgot about their training," Ariai murmured to herself. "I'll go check on them, to see if they're up yet. Help yourself to some tea, Clifford; it's on the counter." She stood up and patted her journal. It shimmered with a blue light before disappearing, no doubt back to her room. She nodded and then walked over to Clifford to give him a hug and a smile to Liek before heading back upstairs to where their guests were rooming. Scorn gave a low bow of respect to Clifford before trotting up after his mistress.

((Gah! I'm so sorry! I'm not diserting or anything, I've just been preoccupied, mostly with my flu! gonk ))

When Adrien awoke, it was to find himself in a bed, in the room he'd been given to stay in while he recovered. He still had his blouse on, but nothing else...who'd undressed him? While he was on the topic anyway, who brought him in here and tucked him into bed in such a motherly fashion? He couldnt' remember a thing from the previous night, beside a few faces. And the faces were merely blurs to his mind's eye. What had he done...?

He sat up with a groan, ran a hand through his tawny hair, and looked about. It was either very early in the morning, to the point that it was still dark out, or it was a new night all together. He figured more towards the latter, as he felt like he'd slept a good long while. The ache in his neck seemed to give him all the proof he needed.

Ariai decided to check on Adrien first, seeing as he had just changed into a vampire, and was still getting used to it. She came up to his door and knocked lightly. "Hello? Adrien? Are you awake?" she said softly, so as to not wake him if he was still asleep. No...she could sense grogginess coming from inside. He was awake. "Adrien, is it alright if I come in? It's Ariai."

"Uh..." He really didn't know if he should allow the woman in or not. After all, he was only sporting his blouse beneath his covers, and he really didn't know the woman that well. Of course, if she had wanted to do something to him, she would have done it while he slept, right? Why was he feeling so nervous again?

"Yes, you can come in," Adrien said, shifting on the bed to cover up more of himself. She might have been a really old vampiress who wasn't easily phased by nudity, but he still wanted to be polite. Flashing a woman wasn't the best thing to do, no matter what the situation was.
