Kayla smiled wide with glee, "Okay then! But how long do you think it'll take for us to get there? We don't have a car." Her smile fell as she realized the long journey ahead. Walking wasn't one of her favourite past-times. Her head lolled to the side, resting against the wall where the door was. Her eyes fluttered as she tried to keep them open.

Sage stayed quiet as she realized people were falling asleep. So Sage decided to put herself in sleep mode for a little bit. She was on light mode as well as she finished sending another report. She found it odd they didn't reply but then again they were passing by the place along the way they were going so she might check in. (I had a plan that her place was destroyed and everything)

(Oh, sounds like fun XD oh and I am on break now, woot free time!!)
Cedric woke up early, his internal clock still set to wake him up at sunrise. There were some cracks of light coming through the door. He got up, trying not to wake anyone and opened the hatch slowly, first peeking outside, and once he saw it was clear he went out with his weapon ready. He was in a forest about a mile from his house and all was quiet as the animals were just now awaking as well. There seemed to be no one here and he was glad for that.

Kayla's eyes flickered open as the sunlight flowed into the room. Shielding her eyes, she stood up and peered through the doorway, into outside. She could hear was the small chirps of birds. She looked back into the tunnel, noticing Cedric was missing. Quietly, she stepped outside and began to scout around by herself.

Sage had woken up once the door was opened and had watched them go outside. She woke up Vagabond,"Hey I think its time to go." Sage stood up and grabbed two backpacks and peeked outside making sure it was clear.

"Alright, who knows the way to San Francisco?" Cedric asked. He was sad to leave the only home he had ever known, but he knew he had no choice in the matter so he better make the most of it.

(Yay for GPS!)
Sage frowned,"I do." She contacted a nearby satellite and then the map was set out infront of her there were many routes and she wasn't sure on which was the safest. "We can travel south for now and go around dangerous areas as well. I will still know the way."

"Alright, let's go then. I don't know what else might be out here...."
Sage's GPS reception flickered for a moment, and then it flickered again before going out entirely. Another satellite took the place of the one that had oddly failed, but then the other two went out. In a couple minutes 10 satellites stopped sending information, and now her GPS was out. Satellites had been failing for years, but never like this.

Sage stopped suddenly feeling disoriented to have everything go out on her. Luckily she remembered the trial bad thing she couldn't adjust it to go around dangerous areas.... "Something is wrong...." She couldn't send reports now. Sage couldn't do anything dealing with her headquarters. Sage freaked out before calming herself,"Must be a glitch in my system I will have to change when I get there."

" Humm. So we can't skip the Dangerous parts? Guess this might be fun after all. " Vaga was riding high. He was fully recovered and was only about 10 pounds under for his natural mass. Grabbing a handful of leaves off a nearby tree he began snacking.
( yay for the ability to eat any organic matter. sorry Weekend. As usual I can't post alot on weekends.)

"Are we going to be walking through the forest? If we take the highway we're less likely to get lost." She was more referring to herself when she said this, her sense of direction was horrible.

Sage was a bit worried,"Well I still have a compass...kinda old fashion but we can manage and if we pick up a map along the way once we run out of forest we should be able to get there no problem." Sage didn't seem to be too happy with her failures. Still thinking it to be her own system.

"The roads are dangerous, they are easier to travel and that is why raiders use them. But, lets head out and get going. We need to put some distance between us and Fairfax, I am still not confident we have lost those zombies." They began heading in the direction Sage had indicated.

Kayla tensed as Cedric mentioned the threat of zombies. She quickly nodded in agreement, and followed quickly behind.
