"GAH, not the FACE!!" D-chan moans, turning over and very nearly unseating the three fenthries perched upon her shoulder. "Fine, fine...tea sounds good. I'm cold. I'm tired. I could use something hot, so long as it doesn't put me to sleep." With a quiet sigh, she picks herself up off the couch and limps her way into the kitchen, fluffy brush of a tail dragging behind her on the remarkably clean floor.
As she retreats from the room, the water demon reappears, a few feathers floating in its puddled form. Upon spying the rain pooling at May's feet, it gurgles with pleasure and streams over to her, immediately soaking up the water and quickly trying to climb up her legs to take up the rest of the water in her clothes and hair.
Koe laughs as D-chan mumbles tiredly about her tea. He smiles at Maine before standing, holding Kaju's hand and gesturing to Maine with the other. "Let's find somewhere to talk," he suggests, smiling all the while as he lifts into the air. He lands on the low table near the couch soon after, moving around in small circles around the little bunny fenthry that accompanied him, as though looking for the best place to go. "I'm fine. I've been taking care of Kaju, telling her stories...and Kurenai's back to normal, so most of the household is feeling better, especially since she seems to have gotten over Rioko entirely..." He looks back at the pale fenthry, dark violet eyes curious. "Where's Femi?" he asks quietly, seeming a bit sheepish about asking.
"Awww, how cute," she chuckles. "Little Koe has so many new friends! There's Joyce and now Maine and...Femi? Oh, the last feather! D-chan told me about her," she nods, lying sprawled across Danyeh's shoulders. "It's so nice seeing him out making friends for once," she sighs.
Grei snickers to himself as the other songfox squirms under him. That'll teach him for being too tired to stand up for himself. He tugs on the nearest black wing feather available, listening to the startled yelp in return before innocently withdrawing his shell flute from the bag forever at his side.

May smiles, "Thank you D-CHaaaah!" She's a bit shocked at the watery feeling surrounding her legs, but looks down and sees it's just D-Chan's water demon, completely drying her. She smiles, giggling at every tickle or brush that the demon leaves behind. "Oh, um, thank-You." She snickers, removing Femi form her hair, leving the red string tied carefully to the feather's quill. She palces it on the table, not wanting it to be trappe dwithin her hair all day.
Maine nods at Koe, following him with agile wings to the table, laughing a bit at D-Chan's dismay. The pale fen listens intently to every word koe says, nodding every so often, then smiling when he hears Kurenai is alright again. "Oh, everything soudns good with you." He says, grinning. His ears p***k up and his eyes watch as May lowers Femi to the table, smiling. "There she is." He point, laughing a bit at the good timing, before walking to Femi's feather and lifitng it carefully. He pokes at the red string tied to her quill. He then returns to Koe's side. "She's been lively, lately, twitching every so often and such." He then carefully hands Femi by the quill to Koe, as if offering for him to hold an infant baby.

The demon gurgles happily at May's thanks before creeping up past her legs, enveloping her torso, arms, and head for a moment before splashing happily away to attack its next victim, the newest feathered bundle that has been trying to hide away in a corner, and leaving May high and dry.
Koe smiles, accepting Femi's barb carefully and holding her for a moment against his shoulder. So pretty...and she's doing so well, for having been kept in that case for so long. It seems like the combination of staying so close to D-chan and then having Maine and May caring for her are working wonders...and, as he looks, he could swear that he seems something familiar.
A smile lights his face. "She'll be hatching soon," he murmurs softly, running one hand gently along her barbs.
At the thought of having ANOTHER new friend to play with, Kaju nearly explodes from the excitement. "FEMI!!" she squeaks, bouncing in her rabbit-like way around Maine and Koe, all the while watching Femi intently. She can't understand how Koe knows that she will hatch...but still! It's nice to know that she'll have another friend soon!!
After a few minutes, D-chan returns with tea tray in hand. She carefully sets it on the table between the peace-time factions of songfoxes and fenthries before sitting down on the couch with a sigh. She takes up a mug and sips at it gratefully, allowing the warm steam to curl up around her face. "This hits the spot," she sighs gently, watching as Kurenai and Grei finally release Danyeh from his prison to take up the miniature mugs of tea she still uses for the fenthries.

May takes her own mug and enjoys a deep, warm drink, sighing and nodding at D-Chan in thanks. "Sure does." She replies, enjoying the aroma of the warm tea. She watches as tiny leaves swirl within the cup, it's like fortune telling, watching those itny leaves assemlbe themselves in various positions. The tea leaves come to settle in the position of a moon. "The new moon." She whispers. A welcoming of new life...
The white-furred fenthry swishes his tail as he watches Koe hold Femi, for some reason that tingle returns to his sotmach, that light blue fenthry jsut pulls a string to his heart it seems. Maine simply watches, only pulling his eyes form the fenthry and feather to giggle at Kaju as she skips around the two. But then, a warm feeling covers him, his ears p***k up, and something tells him to watch the feather. And, sure enough, it was beginning to twitch again...

D-chan's ears perk. "Hm? New moon? I thought it was a waning gibbous tonight," she mutters. "Did I miss something? Again?"
Koe smiles as Femi's barb twitches. Very gently, showing the utmost respect and care toward the feather, he places her tip first on the table.
She remains standing that way, quivering ever so slightly...before beginning to hop. Once...twice...three times...each time gaining height...until finally finding that mysterious updraft that sends her swirling to the ceiling. The plume pauses there for a moment before slowly descending in a wide spiral, tip finally touching the table from where she began.
A bright light engulfs feather and fenthries alike...
...before fading, revealing a four-inch tall beige fenthry, blinking curiously up at the surrounding assembly. Koe smiles and kneels down before her, his ears twitching comically. "Hello, Femi. I'm Koe."
Kurenai very nearly chokes on her tea as the feather dances into the air. She smiles back at Danyeh and Grei, excitement clear in every feature of her face as the light comes and a newborn fenthry sits on the table among friends. "How cute!" she squeaks. "I've always loved hatchings...nowhere near as much as Koe, but still."
D-chan, too, comes close to spilling tea down her front as Femi's barb stands on its own and begins its flight. "That was fast!" she yelps, taking a gulp of tea without realizing that it is still, in fact, piping hot and managing to burn the roof of her mouth. "Note to self, always remember to check the tea before gulping blindly," she sniffs. "Congratulations, May! Your first female fenthry!" she chuckles.

May's eyes, although half-lided and calm, are fixed on her slowly falling fenthry. The beautiful little girl is just as beige as her feather, hair a light blue, it's cute little tail curling and releasing as she blinks up at Koe. And, ofcourse, May quickly sets her tea down and sits on her knees, lifting her adorable Femi from the table very slowly, staring at her. "W...wow." she breathed, smiling at the beige hatchling. "Uh, hello Femi. I'm your gaurdian, May."
Maine watched with bright eyes as May lifted up his new sister, eyes just as interested as May's, his mouth was pulled into a glorious smile. He looked at Koe, obviously excited, and couldn't help but whisper. "Look, Koe, it's my sister!" Alhtough that was quite obvious. He looked very proud and quickly began flapping his firebrick wings, raising to the hieght of May's positioned hand and stepping onto her fingers, admiring his baby sister. He then looked down at Koe, waving his hand in an upwards motion, "Come on." He said, still smiling proudly.
Kagei, on the other hand, wasn't as interested or in awe as his brother. he sat atop May's shoulder, smiling like any new big brother would, but he was far more quiet. He watched his new sister as she slowly stood, knees a bit wobbly, and took her first look at every creature in the room.
Femi looked as new as she really was, taking her time to get used to her first tiem standing. Her eyes rested on Kagei for a while as if registering him in her mind, then up to May, then D-Chan, Kurenai, The songfoxes and water demon, and finally...Koe. She looked at him for a very long time, and then, broke into her first smile. Her ears twitched simultaneoulsy.

Flame came into the shop with a smile. Her tail flicked back and borth as she carred Naolin in her hand and Nightstar, wide awake, rested on her shoulder. She looked around and saw D-chan and May already talking with their pets meeting. She grined and Nightstar perked up. D-chan meant that Kaju was here. He wanted to know what she thought of the story. Flame had to get home just as he finnished and he never found out.
Naolin was also glad to see D-chan. She wanted to play with Sherbert again. She was now a young stallion and was starting to talk but she was slow but she could talk. Her best friend though was Sherbert. She started to struggle in Flame's hand so she put her down and she dashed over to D-chan.
"Sher-bert?" she asked slowly
Nightstar flew away too. Skyfire was gone, shopping or something. He was glad. He didn't like Skyfire. He did liek though, Kaju. He fallowed Naolin to D-chan but he would ask. Instead he looked around for his pretty flower fen.

D-chan leans back and smiles, watching the scene with a sense of detached calm. It's so nice to see a fenthry hatch, the smiles that go around the room, the little newborn fenthry so new to the world...she sips at her tea, wincing at the sensation on the burned roof of her mouth, but smiling nonetheless.
Koe smiles and flutters up to May's hands as Maine calls him, a soft smile etched across his face, more subdued than the new brother's. He watches as the little fenthry looks around, from her guardian and brothers and the other fenthries...
...and finally at him. As she smiles, he returns the expression, both ears swaying back and forth in time. "Hi," he chirps, kneeling before her. "Do you know who I am?"
Kaju huffs. She will NOT be left behind! Her little wings begin to buzz, lifting her up off the ground and up toward the new fenthry--
--when who should she bump into but Nightstar! She squeaks in recognition, clapping excitedly.
D-chan waves to Flame tiredly before noticing the plush pony at her paws. She smiles a bit before shaking her head. "Sorry, Naolin, Sherbert's not here now. Arashi wanted to come and Kaen wanted company and Sherbert wanted to stay with Kaen today. Maybe another time?"

May watches the gathering of fenthry in her hands, smiling softly, she was too preoccupied to give Flame a full greeting but managed a, "Er, hi..." Before watching her little fen stumble clumbsily on it's feet and stare up at Koe, then to her brother Maine, and then to Koe again.
The little newborn stared for a long time at both pale fen, her ears swayed a bit every time she looked at maine, as if she senced the family connection...she gave him a smile as large as the one she had given Koe beofre her ears pricked up at Koe's question. Seeing him smile, she did the same, and looked into the pale fenthry's eyes. Her cheeks began to turn a light pink, she seemed to be thinking very hard! And then, clear as the wind whistling through the mighty oaks, she chirped. "S...S-Sto-ee." Sto-ee? Story? Ofcourse, Koe had been telling her stories! The little fenthry looked down, marvled that her mouth made a sound at her own will, and repeated the words. "Ssssto-ee!" She squeaked, nodding to Koe.
Maine marveled at his little sister, her first word came so quickly, even if it was rushed and pronounced wrong. And, ofcourse, Koe wasn't called Story but, it was still cute. He grinned proudly when Femi looked upon him as family, he watched as his new friend and his new sister interacted, tail swaying proudly.

Flame smiled over at D-chan who seemed very tired. She grabed the now depressed Naolin. Then her bright eyes landed on a fenthry she had enver seen before. She was confused for a full second and then her eyes brighted.
"Oh May! Is that Femi?" she asked, "Oh she's beautiful" Flame looked at the new fenthry in joy and a slight ache. She wanted another fenthry now. She missed her little fenthry.
Naolin heard D-chan and felt her spirts drop. She felt Flame pick her up and she just snuggled in close. She was so escited to see Sherbert. She sighed now and just laid in Flame's hand as if she was a real stuffy.
Nightstar frowned when someone ran into him. He turned to tell them to look where they were going and then he noticed it was Kaju. He instently brightened.
"Kaju" he said brightly, taking her paw and tried something new. He swept a bow and kissed it. He saw some guy do it on TV last night. It made the girl blush and giggle, maybe it would work with Kaju too.

The proud owner nodded to Flame, unable to show her Femi because of all the fen on her hand, but did her best to move her body out of the way of her hands and show Flame her handful of fen who were all gathered around Femi. "Yes, she just hatched as you were comming in, isn't she precious?" Her eyes landed back on her hatchling...her tea must've gone cold by now.
Only when the pale fen heard a slight sound of body hitting body did he remove his gaze from Femi, just for a moment, and see Nightstar kissing Kaju's hand. Hehe, just like he had done on their first meeting. Nightstar and Kaju must've been getting close. But, the scene did not distract him long, soon he was watching the beige fenthry again, this time less exstatic and more curious.

((*waves a flag!* Go on without me!! crying *has lost her RP spark temporarily and will be gone for most of the rest of the week, anyway...* Home on Friday!! xd That should start the creative juices flowing again.
