Tellena stood up and dusted her scarlet dress, then remarked to the human, “well you should have joined the fun anyway,” she began to giggle, its been a while since she felt so very young.

Saku glanced towards Tellena inquisitively before stating, "I'm not usually one to consider dust-bunnies adiquate play-mates."
He then surveyed the rest of the room, and took note of a group of people on the opposite side of the room, commenting idly, "Looks like almost the whole gang's made it... what d'ya' know."

Zumi sat in an area where she could talk to Saku, but hopefully not be seen by the 'scary skeleton man out to get me'. "The skeleton, he's somewhere besides over here, right?"

With a rather bored expression, Saku scanned the surroundings, then nodded at Zumi, replying with an idle flip of his hand, "Aye, he went off somewhere over there, methinks." He gestured towards the general opposite-end of the room.

"Anyway, about the cooking contest," Saku stated, trying to make sure they would not be dropping out before the contest had even started, "I was thinking something on the holiday theme... and something sweet. I've come up with... Chocolate-Hazelnut Crinkle Cookies, Chocolate Mint Mousse, Chocolate Peppermint Bar Cookies, or Damson Plum Pinwheels. Granted, I could keep thinking, but I think the Bar Cookies is our best bet."

Saku looked back at Zumi with a placid look of utmost patience on his face as he asked in a slow, calm voice, "I'm sorry... where did I lose you?"

"Well, in that case..." Saku took a deep breath, tapping the tips of his fingers together to contemplation, "The bars are kind of like hard brownies with crunchy bits of peppermint here and there, the mousse is, well... chocolaty, minty mousse... the pinwheels are slightly sweetened, flakey pastries with nicely tart jam in the center, and the crinkle cookies are chewy with just the right amount of finely ground hazelnut to add a subtle texture. Does that help any?"

Kairi looked around the room herself, wondering where he friends were, when she caught sight of Zumi. With a grin, she turned to Riku.
"Just gimme a sec, will ya?" she said. "I have to get my present to Zumi. You can come ove rif you want to say hi, though." With that she stood up and ran over.
"Zumi-chan! Merry Christmas!" she grinned, holding out a small present. Inside the box was a new bow for her. "Oh, I'm sorry! Whose your date?"

Zen FallPaw Xigbar slowed his assault when Kyriaki retreated, but followed her nonetheless, though he approached the round of the carousel cautiously, lest she be luring him into a trap. He had prepared a snowball for each hand and was ready to use them if anything happened, but then again he also wasn't quite as alert as usual since he acknowledged this to be nothing more than a friendly confrontation."I- I don't know! I just said it was!" Roxas called after Daye, scooting backwards in his trench, beginning to contemplate evacuating.Xemnas shot an irritated glare in Daye's direction, knowing all too well what she was going to say, and seemed to take it as a signal to vacate the area.
"I feel a bit more in the mood for a warm beverage," he stated distractedly as he began to turn towards the foods table, but before he fully turned around, he asked in a tone that made his question sound almost obligatory, "Would any of you like anything?"
Once Daye was close enough she leaped and tackled Roxas rubbing a snowball right on his chest.
Kalanna didn't let his hand go as he turned away. She looked at him, very sorry now for what she was about to say. He should know her enough to know by now tat she didn't want him to leave. She gently put her other hand around the one she was already holding, and brought it up to her mouth to kiss his hand. "I'm sorry..." She said queitly to him, now looking at the ground.((Daye and Xemnas? Akward. =p ))

Dreizehn blinked momentarily at the man for whom his best friend had completely ignored him for and gasped. Okay Dri...Calm down...Don't spazz....GAHH!!!
He took a slow breath and smiled begrudgingly. "Kalanna...." He said sweetly through his teeth. "Whom, pray tell, is that?" He gestured gently toward Xemnas. Of course, he knew very well who it was, but he wasn't about to give off the fact that Kalanna was about to be slaughtered.

Kalanna looked at her friend with a weak smile. "I- Uh- Hi. Um- This is Xemnas." She said queitly to him. "Xemnas, do you remember Dri?" She was hoping a fight wasn't about to start, then another question hit her. "What are you doing here?"
