((yeah, okay, okay...can we skip to when they get back to the house? Oh, and, the vampire/werewolf race has an actual name and special defects that prefent it from being too powerful, including that there's only one in town... I'll reveal more as it continues...))

((okay))
She actually took them through the town this time, avoiding the forest. Unlocking the door, she went in, throwing the note she'd written before leaving away after ripping it in half.

Why do we keep trudging on... Marie sat gingerly onto a kitchen chair and wrapped her arms around herself. What if the boys weren't as okay as they appeared? Something could be really wrong... on the other hand, at least they weren't dead.... When the battle has already been lost?

Erik sat down, just relieved they'd gotten out of that alright. He had a bad feeling about the whole business, and perhaps more than that, something of his instinct told him there was more here than met the eye. Warren spent much more of the night looking over soem old tomes his parents his never bothered to throw away. There wasn't much evidence, the old werewolves and vampires had all hated this kind for obvious reasons among others. But he finally found a stray reference. "The Prophets have been dealt with. They shall speak no more. But the vampires have become arrogant once more, believeing we ever needed their help to begin with..." That was how one of the wars in medieval times had started. Well, he was certain that if this 'Prophet' thing was enough of an annoyance for Werewolves to work with Vampires, even temporarily, then obviously they should be destroyed. But what did they do exactly? "Hm..." he said quietly to himself, "Speak no more...?"

thymeast22 ((okay)) She actually took them through the town this time, avoiding the forest. Unlocking the door, she went in, throwing the note she'd written before leaving away after ripping it in half. Amanda walked over to her, trying to regain a tentative smile. "Well, how about we see if we could find a movie on TV? We could get popcorn and camp out in front of the television," she suggested in a voice that was nearly normal, if slightly high-pitched.

"Kay, we're finished with the project." she said, feeling slightly guilty that they ignored Amanda for the most part while finishing the work.
((I'm skipping ahead the few hours, to 3 like Kiwi said))

((We'll say it took until three for Warren to find out as much as he did... The werewolves and vampires of the past absolutely hated the prophets and tried to wipe out all traces of even the fact they had ever existed.)) "Yeesh," said Erik, somewhat amazed, "Just one night? I thought we had something like a week to complete it..."

((I'm skipping ahead the few hours, to 3 like Kiwi said)) Amanda tried to grin and felt she did pretty well, she was nervous but getting over it. "Ok....but unless someone," she turned at Erik, "has any better ideas, it's chick flicks tonight!"

He shrugged. He might have contradicted any one of them alone, but two vampires and his girlfriend wouldn't bode well in an arguement.

Xindaris He shrugged. He might have contradicted any one of them alone, but two vampires and his girlfriend wouldn't bode well in an arguement. Amanda glanced over at him, he wasn't arguing. She had been trying to get everyone to talk...."Ok, then! Any ideas? I think we should watch a couple of chick flicks and how 'bout a scary movie?"

"Just because we have that long doesn't mean it'll take that long. There's movies in the cabinet beside the tv, we have just about every movie ever made it seems at times." she said shrugging. The phone rang, and, a bit confused, she answered it. " 'Ello?... Yea.... What the hell were they doing there?!...What do they want?........Yea, In the morning....Whatever." she hung up, glaring at the phone for a minute before putting it back on the charger. Not giving any information on who it was, or why they were calling at 3 in the morning, she leaned against the back of the couch, where she had been earlier.

Why do we keep trudging on... Marie sighed and started to browse the movies. "How 'bout this one... a spin-off of Dracula, I think..." she suggested, pulling it out and studying the bloody but kinda sweet cover. When the battle has already been lost?

"I think it's one of the better ones. Not one of the cheesy vampire movies, one of the realistic ones." she offered. Even though vampires were real, they generally didn't flaunt that knowledge in movies. The vamps in the movies generally were actually human, most the time.
