Woo-hoo! I shall post in here about a movie! I just got back from seeing The Guide! All in all, I thought it was a great movie. There were a few issues here and there that I had, but overall it was great. Go see it! Now! Unless you haven't read the books yet.. then go read the books! Then go see the movie!
Yes, I definatley recommend reading the books first. You will understand it so much better.

Yes that movie rocked! And I agree with Atsu, while you don't need to have read the books. It makes far more sense if you have. Freaking hillarious it is though. Also many great cameos/homages from the BBC series. wink

Hmm I am aware that most people probably have more of a life than I do and don't watch movies 24/7 but I saw some others and wanted to open the floor.
Kingdom of Heaven - Good movie though I was a little disappointed with how they treated the idea of faith while they pointed out the foibles and false motives of the crusades.
House of Flying Daggers - I may have liked this more if I had been expecting an Asian Romeo & Juliet instead of a kung fu war epic (eg Hero).
Any one else see these and wish to comment or correct me please do. wink

Yeah I have heard that as well...though I am trying not to get my hopes up too much. I did that for Ep 1 and it took 4 theater viewings for me to realize the movie kinda sucked.... sweatdrop

Episode one wasn't horrible... it wasn't great either. As for two... yeah... didn't care for it much. Hopfully three will be good.
