Marco was surprised that the Gyarados could throw Lapras into the air with a simple flick of his neck. Lapras and Gyarados fell under the same weight class of heavy pokemon with Gyarados only being about 30 lbs heavier than Lapras. Even with all his legendary strength, he should have been unable to throw Lapras into the air especially considering how awkward he was probably biting into Lapras's hard shell. It might have been more believable if he had struggled with his toss more. Either way Sing would have delivered its blow and surely make the pokemon fall asleep so Marco was disappointed that the only outcome was a drowsy Gyarados. The only possible explanation -to him- was that Gyarados had just experienced and incredible amount of adrenaline rush. This rush was enough to pick a pokemon that's as heavy as him and toss her into the air in mere milliseconds or just fast enough so that the close range Sing would not take its full effect. Pokemon battles were always unpredictable which was why Marco always factored in luck whenever he was facing against a foe. In this current situation, luck seemed to favor Iris's pokemon and it had yet again escaped from Lapras's counterattack. And to add insult to injury, Lapras had received some damage from Gyarados turning around in his rush to get away.

The sea pokemon glared at Gyarados as it got ready to fight again. Marco noticed some teeth marks on Lapras's shell from when Gyarados bit her. His move had been risky, Lapras's shell was super strong, but so were Gyarados's teeth. He would have to check out Lapras's shell for any permanent marks. Marco was not sure about what his next move should be. Gyarados was currently drowsy meaning he could fall asleep any second. A drowsy pokemon would be much slower and his senses much weaker as he would be fighting with himself just trying to stay awake. It was Lapras's opportunity to strike, but with the luck he was having Gyarados might just end up shaking the feeling altogether. "Lapras use Sing once more." The sea pokemon began singing her beautiful lullaby once again as musical notes emerged from her mouth making their way to the drowsy Gyarados. His senses and abilities would be weaken by his current state making Sing have a greater accuracy. Hopefully it would be enough to make contact and draw the battle to his favor.

Blue looked at the Jim question how one could sleep that much. Then her attention moved to Mr. Pink who although she didn't know him well seemed to be doing something crazy. Lacus noticed quickly what everyone was staring at and it made her smile.

Mr. Pink wasn't expecting anyone to stop him and although he wasn't ready for it he was still at a loss. As he tried to march farther he wasn't going anywhere as Tini was making sure of that. "Hor~sea" (Tini is right you know.) Blue spoke catching Mr. Pink off guard. This made him jump a little before looking up at Blue. "Mr. Pink what are you doing?" Lacus asked giggling a little at his antics. "Igg igg iggly igglybuff." (I was just wanting to give that guy a peice of my mind.) he said nodding not that Lacus could understand him. "Iggly igg..." (Maybe you guys are right...) he said knowing he was pushing his luck.

"I don't think he likes what that guy did either." Lacus said with a smile. It was just a guess but she had a feeling that was what was wrong. Seeing as it happened at the same time that they were talking about it. Mr. Pink was definitely a special pokemon.

Marco watched as the leviathan fell, fell asleep that is. The attack had worked and that was enough to decide the battle for Marco. "We can end it here." To Marco, a sleeping pokemon was the same as a defeated pokemon. Gyarados would be slumbering for a while and he did not want Lapras to be stepping over him either. Sing had proven to be a very magnificent and reliable move. It was a trademark for most Lapras because they were known for their beautiful songs. He walked over to Lapras and petted her head gently, his hand moved over her shell tracing the marks left behind by Gyarados. They were not horrible and it seemed that no permanent marks would be left in her shell which Marco was happy with. He looked over at the sleeping Gyarados and then looked at Iris. "Gyarados is unable to battle...you should let him get some rest." Marco petted Lapras again then returned her to her pokeball. He would have to stop by the Pokemon Center in order to heal Lapras properly as well as to pick up his pokemon eggs. They were currently being taken care of by Nurse Joy, but he would go retrieve them. He missed having those guys in his arms. He walked over to Iris and smiled at her. "That was fun, you sure come with a lot of surprises."

Marco blinked, was Iris asking him out to see fireworks? It felt like a dream come true, he never expected that he would be able to see fireworks together with her again especially after everything that had happened. He tried to hold back his excitement, but he still couldn't help grinning with happiness inside. "S-Sure...that, that sounds great." He tried to played it off being cool, but he was much too giddy at the moment to properly think things through. He cleared his throat a couple of times, "So, so why don't we head over there? I need to pick up my pokemon-eggs and have Lapras get healed." He was talking about the Pokemon Center, Nurse Joy was still holding onto his eggs and he wanted to see them now since he left this morning. He usually didn't part from them even at night time. He smiled at Iris very happy being together with her again and no longer fighting or screaming at each other. It was much more relaxing this way and he could be himself around her. He didn't have to hide his emotions. He shook those feeling away, he didn't have to think about that now. Iris and Marco were starting over, he didn't want to push for anything else. Beside, he didn't want to think about this, but there were still other people who probably were not okay with him and Iris hanging out especially after everything that happened. Namely a certain someone's cousin or at least that's the feeling he got from her.

Marco started walking towards the exit making sure that Iris was following him so they could walk together to the Pokemon Center. He took a final notice of the blue-haired girl. It was the same girl he had bumped into, she seemed upset, but her friend was comforting her. He felt bad about being so rude to her, he would need to apologize to her when he got the chance.

Vince felt defeated when Annie managed to recover her Pokemon's health. All that work, just to have to start again, but this wasn't enough to quit. The Hydro Pump slammed into Golduck, sending him into a wall. The attack was strong, even though it wasn't very effective. It left it's mark. After the intense pressure of the water stopped, Golduck fell to the ground. He slowly pulled himself onto his feet, exhaling heavily. "Golduck! Are you alright?!" Vince shouted. Golduck slouched forward, trying to rest from the attack. He was exhausted, but he wasn't ready to quit either. He shot back up and eyed the Milotic. 'This is ridiculous! I never imagined Annie to be so strong." Vince thought to himself. 'This Pokemon has amazing accuracy. I have a huge disadva.... Wait... that's it!' He looked at the Milotic again. "Alright Golduck, Scald the ground by it!" Vince commanded. Without a second thought, Golduck shot another bust of molten liquid at the Milotic. This time it slammed into the ground under it. It did exaclt what Vince was hoping. The hot liquid steamed as it hit the ground, clouding the Milotic's vision. "Water Pulse!" he commanded next. He'd have to be ruthless if he wanted to get past that constant recovery. Golduck shot off another pulse of water at the Milotic. "Now, Zen Headbutt! Stay out of its line of fire!" Golduck darted off at an angle. He was still blindingly fast. He shot around the Milotic, staying out of its line of fire. He angled his head down as he readied himself for the Zen Headbutt. This was it. If this didn't work, then Golduck was done for.

"I'll give you two credit for not giving up," Annie called from her end as Golduck had gotten up to its feet. "In it to the end. That's my kind of style!" Her calm and content of battling was short lived as Vince gave out an unusual command to his pokemon. At the ground? Why? 'What's he planning? She thought as the scald hit the ground. He hadn't aimed for Dawn at all. It became more painfully apparent when he called out for waterpulse behind a curtain of steam. 'You mean he's--?' She hurried her reaction. "Dawn! Get out of there! Now!" She called out to her puzzled pokemon; but only a split second too late. Before the long bodied milotic could move, Zen headbutt pushed it back, causing it to flinch, and waterpulse barraged it right after. Vince's spark hadn't gone down for even a moment. He was a gifted trainer for his age.

'He's pretty quick to turn things around. Given the chance, I think he might even beat me in a full scale battle. I can't wait for that! But for now...' Her collected smile returned. "Dawn, Use Icebeam and clear out that steam!" She called out a command. Icebeam formed, but shot off in a completely different direction. Shooting by Annie herself. Her milotic fell into confusion! "No!" She called for her confused pokemon, seeming in pain with its headache. 'There's nothing I can do. I can risk a command going wrong, or I can try waiting it out. But which is the better gamble?'

Mr. Pink looked at where Marco was and realized that Tini was right. He had gone and maybe that was a good think. "Iggly igg..." (Your right...) Mr. Pink said rather sad that he couldn't help out. He loved to help that was just who he was and nothing was going to change that. "Hor~sea." (I like this girl.) Blue stated happily. She had never found a pokemon she liked better to this point. All Blue thought was that it would be her problem to deal with the pink ball of hyper active energy.

Lacus couldn't help but laugh at Raven's response to Mr. Pink's action. The best jokes were always those the came from the truth sometimes that was for sure. "Iggly..." (Maybe...) Mr. Pink repiled to Raven's joke as he put his hands to his face and turned a darker pink. "Someones embaressed." Lacus stated his darkening in color which only made him go pinker. It was funny and pretty cute when you think of it.
