Yeah, he went off during the Itachi/Sasuke fight, so it's time for that incident. Besides if I'm going to have the Pein thing come into play later on (and I started on that), I really can't change it o_o
It was one of those deaths that I hated, but accepted because of the hero cycle that Kishimoto was following (same with Itachi and Asuma, it SUCKED that they bit it, but for story purposes, it had to happen). Compare to the Arthur situation, Merlin is not around for the final battle, his role as teacher is already past. Even Itachi has that role in this series, though Sasuke rejects what he was trying to teach him.
Now I'm a bit miffed that those three bit it, but the other death that was really needed in this series, and this is not a slight against her character because I think she gets a lot of undeserved flak, was Hinata. She should have died when she confessed. When she was first introduced I saw her as the Epinone of the series (as opposed to Elaine/Lady of Shallot who just commits suicide, she actually goes down fighting. In Les Miserables, Epinone dies by catching a cannon ball directed at Marius with her hand and it exits out her back and her last breath is telling him what he meant to her, Elaine has Galahad by tricking Lancelot and then dying when she realizes that he only has eyes for Guinevere).

I know they are need, but still sad as it is always my favorites that die. emo I just more mad at how Sasuke is handling Itachi's death by acting how he is. Stupid Sasuke. stare
Agreed, I think it would have made Hinata's confession more dramatic and not in vein if she did die. Hinata hardly does anything it seems but I can see her dying for Naruto after the confession. Heck that would have actually made for her love for him stronger as oppose to now, where it is as if it never happened.

I UNDERSTAND BOTH THOSE REFERENCES! eek I feel erudite heart And yes. I felt that maybe Sakura's confession might work for that purpose after Hinata survived but THAT one didn't work stare Unless Sasuke confesses his love then dies...

 In the shadows of the city A hero's waiting for the call And all the angels are waking up And all the devils start to fall Update!
A few things you should get from the chappie... 1) Lust is ******** INSANE. She's the epitome of what Saisei believes Aeons to be. 2) Her plan isn't going to make sense, at least not right now. (see above) 3) Meiro isn't all that sane either.
And Yuko, I did something nice for you. 3nodding
Now I shall go read OSU's fic. In the shadows of the city They're dying for a thrill They're going out over the edge They're moving in for the kill

I felt that maybe Sakura's confession might work for that purpose after Hinata survived but THAT one didn't work stare Unless Sasuke confesses his love then dies... I was tempted to use Ophelia as my example instead of Elaine, but Ophie had a good many reasons to go insane and commit suicide. Her brother's a p***k, her father JUST got killed by the ONE MAN that she loved and trusted, and that one guy didn't love and trust HER enough to tell her what the hell was going on. Yeah, I might have drowned myself after a mental breakdown too. O_O Putting that aside... The only good point of Hinata's confession was that it was used as a weight against Sakura's. Kishi seemed to have meant that to be what caused Naruto to see the beyond the half-truths. Unfortunately, that didn't come across as much as he wanted. That and Naruto does actually have enough common sense to see past the half-truths that Sakura was giving him already. xd Hell, I would have accepted him using it during the fight against Dark Naruto when DN was asking "who cared for you before..."

Speaking of Hamlet, it is rumored that the skull used in this production is real, donated by a pianist who wanted it used by the RSC after his death. Gravedigger Scene from Hamlet (Act V, Scene 1). Best gravediggers too. And I loved David Tennant as Hamlet.

First quick question, what does the thing about Grandma's sucking eggs mean? I first heard it long ago from a song on Ren and Stimpy (the Happy Happy Joy Joy song), but never got what it meant. sweatdrop
Aw, Itachi gets to be human for at least one night every few years. whee LOL I couldn't help but laugh when
And I am a little confused about Haru. I swore Phoe already did help healed him one and Chain snuck him out. Must of read something wrong there. ^^;
Poor Shi most be overworked.

It's an ooooooooooold saying. Pretty much it means that old people know far, far, far more than you think. Or that you really can't teach old people anything. Sometimes both.
No, Phoe was on her way there and Chain talked about it, but it hadn't happened yet. Sorry for the confusion there.
When did you laugh? There's no text there o_o
