The King finally lost his temper with the Drowess after she had spoken her words of malice towards him. Not only that, but she had immediately placed herself physically in the way between himself and the Wood Elf (therefore making it impossible for him to inflict any pain upon Anima), ending his fun which he had created for his amusement; she had meddled in his own affairs for far too long and she had now passed the line. As soon as she had placed herself in the way, the King lifted his hand away from where it had been pointed towards (which at this point had been engulfed in a red light). But now, as he drew it away from Allindra's image, the light was distinguished, distinguished by the act of his fingers clenching into a tight fist.

"Do you think you are in any position to order me around? If I am not mistaken, it is I who has allowed you to live... and now you are telling me whom and whom I cannot fight? Do you really think that you have the authority over me, Drow?" With his face now more contorted than usual, due to the anger and hatred that boiled with in him, the King glared down upon Allindra, his hand soon directed towards her. "If you think that you have that authority, than prove it... by defeating me!!" The Wood Elf had now lost his low rumbling tone to a high pitched cry. But before he even had time to fire, twenty High Elves appeared out of nowhere, soon forming a tight perimeter around the two female elves.

Even though the sudden change of events was startling, the elf acted as though he was not surprised. In fact, the anger that had once been on his face now melted away to an expression of stone. As soon as the army of elves had settled, a silence fell upon the chamber until the King finally broke it with an almost amused response to the situation. "You are a little late. I had expected you to show up as soon as I attacked at least one of these precious elves. But better late than never... you have now fallen into my trap. For, as you might have guessed, I had already anticipated your arrival. But not have you already doomed your lives, you have also damned the lives of those you love. For, if I am not mistaken, you have just trespassed on my land... and I do not think that my people will take kindly to it." As the King spoke, his helmet, which he had origionally thrown to the ground now slowly rose towards the elf until it rested on his head.

"Now, since I am now presentable, allow me to summon my men..." With just a snap of his fingers, Drows appeared from out of nowhere with men numbering from at least to fifty. As they pointed their weapons at the High Elves, the Wood Elf continued. "Oh, and if you even think about attacking, you will be annilihated... for sure..."

Anima looked to the high elf backs, not really able to see past the lower bodies. She slowly stood up, using the cool wall for support. Her legs twitched before standing up straight. Her hands glowed weakly, easily breaking the shackles on her person. She soon looked up, not able to see past the shoulders of the elves.

Anima groaned inwardly, glaring at the backs before quickly jumping onto a couple shoulders, kneeling. She looked to 'king,' and gave a small sigh. She quickly slipped back so if he launched something at her, he'd miss. Brother... What have you become?

It was then the King's turn to respond. But before he did, laughter erupted from within him. Clasping his chest with his hand, the Wood Elf soon was able to control himself, allowing him to speak with the elf who had so bodly spoken to him. "If you expect to come into my Kingdom with weapons and not expect to fight, than it is you who are gravely mistaken and quite foolish. You will be forced to fight, for you are outnumbered, and not only that... you are in my land, so even if you do defeat this men, you will be forced to fight my entire legion of soldiers who are, at this very moment forming around my castle as we speak! And I have a question for you," said the elf as he made his way from his throne towards the two circles of men, the outer consisting of Drows and the inner of High Elven warriors. "How do you expect to rescue these two girls without fighting? Do you plan on... disappearing? You know as well as I do, that the Jahine Shrine under my control will not allow you to do such a thing... no, it is you who are rat meat... you fool!"

As he spoke, the King's face became contorted with rage before he turned on the elf, making his way back to his throne. However, just when he reached the top of the stairwell (which was what one had to travel if one wished to reach the throne), the King paused, soon turning to face Kiyara once more. "Oh, and if you think that Terryll has the upper hand, then you will find that you are mistaken once more. However, I am afraid that you will not be alive to see his failure. For, as I have stated before... you are surrounded..." And with that final word, the King continued his way to his throne and sat himself upon it, looking down upon the general with much amusement. "So, I will now say my fairwells to you and your men... for... you are about to die." Smirking, the Wood Elf lifted his hand into the air and snapped his fingers.

At that sound, the Drows who surrounded the High Elven army, each slashed out towards the nearest High Elf. "Yes," whispered the King as he watched the massacre take place before him. "You have doomed yourself while also damning the lives of the High Elves you have tried so hard to protect, for you now have given me the ability to attack your Kingdom with fool force. You are indeed a fool..."

The Wood Elven King watched with much laid back amusement as the general picked up the two elves and quickly exited from the vacinity, while his men fought against Kiyara's militia; he was not going to stress out over one such as him for he would be able to retrieve them easily. But, even if the general was successful in his mission to save the two elves from his grasp, he (The King) now had the hearts and pride of his people in his grasp; the High Elves had infiltrated and attacked their Kingdom and now his army would want revenge. Because of this one attack, the anger of his men would make them stronger and more likely to defeat the enemy in any assault, against any defense.

The reason behind their pure hatred, could be traced back ever since the War began between the races of elves. No one had been able to infiltrate the shield of the Jahine Shrine and therefore were unable to lead an assault on their land. That was why this act of violence made such a huge impact on the minds of the Drow, for their home had never been invaded in the history of the war; they would definately want to get back at the enemy... in this case, it was the High Elves. The King knew the Drows and how their minds worked, for he had spent most of his life ruling over them, and they would definately become more able to fight and go into a rage that no one could stop.

Smirking, the contorted elf slowly rose from his throne and began to make his way towards the general who had taken both of his prisoners from him, as the elves continued to die before him, drowning in a pool of blood of their own blood. As the elf made his way through the fray of fighting, elves, no matter what side they were on, whether they were Drow or High Elven, fell to the side, making a clear path for the King. And soon, the Wood Elf had reached the door which would lead him to the general. "Fight on... you fools..."

The King could sense the presence of the High Elf and snickered, knowing exactly where he was in his palace. With a single thought, the Wood Elf sent a message telepathically to one of his captains, who was waiting outside the palace gates, telling him the situation. With a single word, signifying that he understood, the connection was thus broken. "There will be no way that you will be able to escape, you fool," said the King outloud, as he continued his way down the halls, slowly, as a hunter does it prey; he was going to enjoy the general's death and therefore wanted to prolong the inevitable from occuring.

However, just as the connection between him and his captain ended, another presence suddenly entered his thoughts, meaning that whomever it was, had passed the shield of the Shrine. Immediately, the King stopped in his tracks, reaching out to that mind. Yes, there is no mistaking who you are, said the elf silently as he began his way down the hallway once more. Soon, you will be in my grasp, and we will control the lands with our power. There will be no one that will be able to stop us... It was almost too good to be a true (how everything was falling into place), but there was no doubt that it was happening. And soon he would be able to rid himself of the Drows forever, along with all the other fools who got in his way. Especially those who had betrayed him...

--------

The elf, who the King had contacted, went by the name of Eldrad and was now leading his troops into the palace. He was a creature much like the King; he gave no mercy and killed with pleasure and much enjoyment. That would therefore explain the grin which was plastered upon his face as he marched his troops through the great doors, leading into the great structure which housed his commanding ruler. Upon reaching the shelter of the giant struture, the elf began to bark orders, his voice echoing across the large hall from which he stood. "I want men guarding this door at all times. And I want a group of ten men searching every hall connected to this one... the main chamber. We are looking for a High Elf. You will be able to smell him easily. They are an oder stained with pride and confidence. When you find him, kill him. But leave the prisoners alive, do you understand?!"

Without one word of protest, the Drows immediately grouped and were on their way. However, four men remained by the Captain (he had chosen them personally to guard and aid him through the mission). "We will wait here. For High Elves are crafty and will most likely get by our men... therefore..." But the elf did not have time to finish, for a strangled cry from one of the Drows guarding the door could be heard. Immediately, Eldrad and his men spun around to see a figure completely cloaked, walking towards the men, leaving two dead bodies who had once been Drows. In anger, Eldrad unsheathed his sword and pointed it at the intruder, his eyes glistening with hate. "Who are you!? Identify yourself at once!"

Instead of responding immediately, the newcommer, instead, slowly lifted his head and removed the hood which had hidden his features. Once it had been removed, the elf (who was no doubt a Wood Elf) smirked, also drawing his own sword. "I am Kandal, previously known as Terryll. I have come to face your leader, for he is corrupt and wishes to destroy all, even you. If you do not stand down, I will be forced to kill you. And I do not wish to do so." As one would expect, the captain immediately burst out into laughter. "You fool, you are just..." But Eldrad did not finish, for Kandal immediately jumped into the air, his sword held high above his head. And in moments, one of his Drow guards fell limp to the ground, the end of the Wood Elven's blade poking through his back, stained with his dark blood. His face now quite grim, the elf slowly pulled the blade from the Drow and turned to the Captain. "Let me pass..."

Anima twitched, trying to pull away from the high elf. Her ears lowered as she tried to keep up while looking about. Her thoughts were in a jumble, thoughts just racing about. She was wondering how her brother had managed to become the king of the drows.

Anima looked to the high elf, easily slipping her arm from his grasp. She stopped and quickly looked about, heading down a side corrodor. If she was heading into a trap, then it was her fault. She quickly came to a hault, seeing a couple drows infront of her. She stood still besides the slight shiver of a weak breeze.

feeling the girl slipping out he chased after her yelling "wait what are you doing?!?!?!" said Kiyara seeing Drows in front of her "dammit girl!" said Kiyara grabbing the girl and drawing his sword in time to stop one from attacking her

The Drow warrior swung his sword at the Wood Elf, his eyes lusting for the sight of her blood to fall upon his blade. However, instead of meeting her flesh, the elf found his blade up against the sword of the High Elf, Kiyara. In anger, the creature clenched its teeth as the other Dark Elves circled around the two intruders. Once a circle had been created, the elf (who was at a stalemate with the general), let out a shrill whistle that echoed down the halls of the entire palace. As the last echo of the sound disappeared in the darkness of the giant structure, the elf smirked, his eyes glaring into the eyes of the general. "Now, all of my comrades know where you are and that I have found you. You will soon be dead, you fool. And... once you are out of the way, we will make sure that your precise kingdom is destroyed...." And with that final word, the Drow pulled back, freeing his sword from the general's and, once he had made enough room between himself and Kiyara, swung his sword at him, hoping to chop his head off of his shoulders.

-------

Kandal waited for the answer from the Drow Captain, but knew that he was not going to recieve one. In fact, the Wood Elf expected for him to charge him and that was what exactly Eldrad did. With a cry, the Drow swung his blade at Kandal who easily dodged by stepping to the side. As Eldrad's blade swung through the air (the same stroke made that began the battle), Kandal lifted his sword and slashed off the Captain's air, which held his sword. With a cry, the captain fell to the ground, clutching the stump which had once been an arm. As the detatched formation of flesh fell to the ground, the Wood Elf slowly rose his sword, prepared to face the other Drows who wished to fight him.

As one would expect, the remaining Dark Elves took a few steps back in fear, for Kandal had just maimed their leader. "If you do not wish to meet your general's fate, then I suggest that you run before I kill you..." And as soon as those words left the lips of the elf, the Drows immediately spun on their heals, running down the halls, yelling as they disappeared into the darkness. Frowning, Kandal looked down at the captain, who was still (as one would expect) cradeling the bloody remains with his still (very much attatched) arm. Slowly, Kandal rose his blade to the captain's neck, his eyes looking upon him with sadness. "Why did you not allow me to pass? I did not want to hurt you and I still do not want to kill you... why can't we all be one?"

The Drow spit upon Kandal's face after he had spoken, leaving a large glob of saliva which slowly began to slide down his cheek. "Your King has poisoned you," said the Wood Elf, after a moment of silence, which he had used to control his anger. "There is still a way!" However, the Drow would not faulter. Instead, he lowered his head, his eyes glaring at the ground as he responded. "You are Wood Elven scum. You will soon die at my Master's hands..." Silently cursing, Kandal lifted his sword and brought it down upon the Drow. In moments, all that could be heard, was the sound of Eldrad's head, as it rolled around on the ground. "I am sorry... friend..."

From far off inside the palace, the sound of a whistle could be heard. "Anima... Alyxandria..."

ducking under the swing from the sword Kiyara stabbed the lead Drow and cursing "dammit girl now you have ruined the plan for your safety" and turning just in time parried a blow and countered back by stabbing one in the heart "well two down and six more to go but dam i cant activate my magic anymore" cursing again
PostPosted: Sat Jan 13, 2007 11:26 pm

As the lead Drow fell to his knees, blood flowing from the wound the general had inflicted upon him, the other Drows closed in around him, their swords held up in front of them. "Drop your sword," said one of the six remaining Dark Elves as another one of their comrades was stabbed in the chest. As the creature fell over in a pool of his own blood which continued to flow from his chest without any sign of ending, the Drows closed the gap between themselves and the High Elf until their swords were practically pressed up against his flesh. "Or you will die. One more move out of you and we will kill you without hesitation."

As soon as those words left the creature's mouth, the King, who had heard the whistle (along with the many other Drows in the area), rounded the corner, his face cracking into a twisted look of amusement. "It seems as though you have trapped yourself even though you said that you were so sure of escaping. Heh. I actually believed that you would actually get further. But, I guess that is why they trained you to be an excellent bluffer. Just what I would expect from a race of idiots." Slowly, the King made his way over to the general, his eyes looking him over after he eyed the dead bodies of his soldiers. "So, it seems as though you have made a little mess... however, that will only delay your death with more pain."

Smirking, the Wood Elf snapped his fingers, which in turn caused the soldiers to force him in the direction of where he had come by piercing his flesh with their blades. As they directed him towards the King's Quarters, the Wood Elf turned in the direction of the Main Hall, his eyes searching for something. "It seems as though he has entered my palace, already.. and he is making quick progress. It seems as though I will enjoy this more than I thought." Without an even second glance at the general, the King began to make his way down the hallway. But before his men were out of sight, he lifted his hand and spoke, his voice bellowing across the passageway from which they all still resided. "If you touch or even harm the prisoners in anyway, I will find you all responsible... and you will join the High Elf in the deep pitts. Do you understand?"

And with those final words, the King rounded the corner, leaving his men with the general. It is only a matter of time before we meet, young one, said the general to himself as he continued to make his way down the many corriders which littered the palace. "Terryll, soon, you will be at my side and we will annilhate all elves and rule this land, together, just as it should be."

Anima looked to the weapons before catching a glimpse of her brother's form as he left. She gave out a small growl, I'm sorry goddess, but I must do this... The girl quickly kicked one of the drows between the legs. Once he was down, she took off, heading towards where she had originally felt the breeze.

Anima didn't look back, only to yell out, "Sorry!" She moved as swift as she could, heading towards the direction of the whistle. She came to an abrupt stop, seeing some bodies on the ground. She looked to the door, squinting to the firgure. The light hurt her eyes and was only able to see the outline of a figure, "Terryll?"
