Willhelm's been onto me... here's a new one I wrote today.
Dark of night,
Lightless day
In the land
Of ice and snow.
Forever night,
No more day.
Discover the land
Of unforgiving snow.
In the night,
After the end of day
Fire will burn the land,
Gone is the snow.
Fire lights the night
Bright as day.
In this charred land
Where there is no more snow.
Yes, this is a metaphorical poem… symbols abound. I’d like to see if anyone can even come close to what they are.

I hate it when people write this kind of thing...it's not because it's bad...it's just because they sound like I heard them all when I was little...and it's been driving me nuts...anyway...I get the symbols, but don't ask me what they refer to...I can never explain things properly anyway

Haha, it's fine. I just had to write this one. I've just been feeling things here lately and felt like I needed to write them down. *Shrugs* Don't really write to please anyway.

I couldn't write to please if my life depended on it...but then again that's life...I might post more soon, but god knows everyone probably hasn't read the s**t load of poems I posted when I busted my ankle....so yea I'll wait for a while...

still...ya don't have to reread them...if you didn't remember them the first time they weren't all that good then...anywho I'm thinking-well I'm gonna make a thread devoted to quotes and the discussion of the aforementioned up for it?
