Okay my buddy rented the movie "Eulogy" last night and I was able to watch it with him. It is quite the amusing little dark romp through an uber dysfunctional family. If you like dark comedy, look it up. 3nodding

Wow, on a semi-related note (that is to say that the lead actress in "Eulogy" plays Trillian) the new trailer for the guide is up. This is first actual film footage shown and it looks pretty good. Anyway it is exclusively at Amazon. Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Trailer

Yup looks promising.
Additional movie note, I picked up the director's cut of Donnie Darko. I enjoy this film more every time I watch it. Something about this morbid quest of self discovery and time travel just appeals to me. Anyway the director's cut adds some interesting sub-plots along with some cleaned up audio and visual effects as well as giving the viewer a chance to read more excerpts form "The Philosophy of Time Travel."

Yeah... I'll have to see that as well. It was a fun movie, should be interesting to see what all they put back in it.

Okay so I went to Megacon yesterday and among other things got a look at the movie Casshern. Dunno if anyone else has seen this, but is a trip. Like most Japanese Sci Fi the film doesn't make to much sense the first time through but the score and visuals are fantastic.

Watched Nausicaa yesterday. I know it is an old movie, but this was the first time I had seen it. Good movie. Course I have yet to see anything by Miyazaki I didn't like. 3nodding

After a hiatus I returned to my theater hopping ways this weekend and saw Hostage and Robots. Both are enjoyable films in their own ways. Any one else see either of these?

Well I am back from Spring Break and I saw a few movies but the only new one I saw was the Ring 2. It was creepy and well shot with great scenery. Of course I am a sucker for the Pacific Northwest. Not all that scary, but that was largely due to all the guys laughing at the girls who screamed. xp

Umm yeah I saw Sin City. If you like Frank Miller, then you will like the film. It is very true to the source, and filled with dark imagery and humor. I was a little surprised by how much you can get away with in an R rated film these days though. Back in the day this would have demanded an NC-17. sweatdrop

Umm yeah I know I am the only one who posts here anymore, but anyway anyone else see Kung Fu Hustle? I saw it last night and was wondering what others reactions were. As for me it was the random silliness I expected from a Stephen Chow film. wink
